Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu calls for national unity and warns of the risks of a government dependent on those who seek to weaken Israel. November 2026.
Nothing good comes from joining with those who, at heart, do not share your existence or your security just to gain power.
True unity cannot be built on those who justify or support terror.
May a government be formed that protects Israel and those who defend it, not one that leaves them in the hands of those who call them criminals.

Words of the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu
(November 7, 2026)
Good week to you, my brothers and sisters, citizens of Israel.
This is a time for unity.
You know that I called for this during the election campaign and repeated it afterward.
It is the will of the people and the need of the hour.
Because already next week there are those who intend to hastily swear in a government with terror supporters—those who want to eliminate the State of Israel and establish a State of Palestine on its ruins.
A government that depends on terror supporters will not fight terror.
A government that depends on haters of Judaism will not preserve Israel as a Jewish state.
A government that depends on radical Islam will not fight radical Islam.
Such a government will not eliminate the existential threat from Iran, nor protect our heroic soldiers in Gaza and Lebanon, when some of its members call IDF soldiers “war criminals” and praise the Nukhba and Hezbollah murderers.
Such a government will tear Israel apart from within, just as is happening in European countries, and far worse. The fire and flames we see in the streets of Paris and Brussels will pale in comparison to the fire and flames we would see in the streets of Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa, and the rest of Israel’s cities.
This is not imaginary; these are not scare tactics. This is the reality we would face. That is why it must be stopped, because our very survival is at stake. With such a government, Israel simply will not survive.
Therefore, there is only one choice: not national suicide, but national unity.
I call for the establishment of a national unity government that includes all the parties of the national camp and all Zionist parties that want to preserve our state, the one and only state of the Jewish people.
A national unity government will permanently eliminate the nuclear threat from Iran, preserve Israel as a Jewish state, and bring unity among us.
This is the mandate of our existence.
