ISAÍAS 45

 

Isaías 45(8) Bajad de arriba, oh cielos. Los cielos, derramen rectitud. Tierra abrase para que puedan traer salvación y salga a La Luz la justicia. Yo el Eterno la he creado.

Cause the heavens above to drip, and let the skies pour down righteousness; let the earth open, and let salvation and righteousness be fruitful; let it cause them to sprout together; I, the Lord, have created it. חהַרְעִ֚יפוּ שָׁמַ֙יִם֙ מִמַּ֔עַל וּשְׁחָקִ֖ים יִזְּלוּ־צֶ֑דֶק תִּפְתַּח־אֶ֣רֶץ וְיִפְרוּ־יֶ֗שַׁע וּצְדָקָ֚ה תַצְמִ֙יחַ֙ יַ֔חַד אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה בְּרָאתִֽיו:

Yeshayahu – Isaiah – Chapter 45

1So said the Lord to His anointed one, to Cyrus, whose right hand I held, to flatten nations before him, and the loins of kings I will loosen, to open portals before him, and gates shall not be closed. אכֹּֽה־אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָה֘ לִמְשִׁיחוֹ֘ לְכ֣וֹרֶשׁ אֲשֶׁר־הֶֽחֱזַ֣קְתִּי בִֽימִינ֗וֹ לְרַד־לְפָנָיו֙ גּוֹיִ֔ם וּמָתְנֵ֥י מְלָכִ֖ים אֲפַתֵּ֑חַ לִפְתֹּ֚חַ לְפָנָיו֙ דְּלָתַ֔יִם וּשְׁעָרִ֖ים לֹ֥א יִסָּגֵֽרוּ:
2I will go before you, and I will straighten out crooked paths; I will break portals of copper and cut off bars of iron. באֲנִי֙ לְפָנֶ֣יךָ אֵלֵ֔ךְ וַֽהֲדוּרִ֖ים אֲיַשֵּׁ֑ר (כתיב אֲוַשֵּׁ֑ר) דַּלְת֚וֹת נְחוּשָׁה֙ אֲשַׁבֵּ֔ר וּבְרִיחֵ֥י בַרְזֶ֖ל אֲגַדֵּֽעַ:
3And I will give you treasures of darkness, and riches hidden in secret places, in order that you know that I am the Lord Who calls [you] by your name-the Holy One of Israel. גוְנָתַתִּ֚י לְךָ֙ אֽוֹצְר֣וֹת חֹ֔שֶׁךְ וּמַטְמֻנֵ֖י מִסְתָּרִ֑ים לְמַ֣עַן תֵּדַ֗ע כִּ֣י אֲנִ֧י יְהֹוָ֛ה הַקּוֹרֵ֥א בְשִׁמְךָ֖ אֱלֹהֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל:
4For the sake of My servant Jacob, and Israel My chosen one, and I called to you by your name; I surnamed you, yet you have not known Me. דלְמַ֙עַן֙ עַבְדִּ֣י יַֽעֲקֹ֔ב וְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל בְּחִירִ֑י וָֽאֶקְרָ֚א לְךָ֙ בִּשְׁמֶ֔ךָ אֲכַנְּךָ֖ וְלֹ֥א יְדַעְתָּֽנִי:
5I am the Lord, and there is no other; besides Me there is no God: I will strengthen you although you have not known Me. האֲנִ֚י יְהֹוָה֙ וְאֵ֣ין ע֔וֹד זֽוּלָתִ֖י אֵ֣ין אֱלֹהִ֑ים אֲאַזֶּרְךָ֖ וְלֹ֥א יְדַעְתָּֽנִי:
6In order that they know from the shining of the sun and from the west that there is no one besides Me; I am the Lord and there is no other. ולְמַ֣עַן יֵֽדְע֗וּ מִמִּזְרַח־שֶׁ֙מֶשׁ֙ וּמִמַּ֣עֲרָבָ֔ה כִּי־אֶ֖פֶס בִּלְעָדָ֑י אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה וְאֵ֥ין עֽוֹד:
7Who forms light and creates darkness, Who makes peace and creates evil; I am the Lord, Who makes all these. זיוֹצֵ֥ר אוֹר֙ וּבוֹרֵ֣א חֹ֔שֶׁךְ עֹשֶׂ֥ה שָׁל֖וֹם וּב֣וֹרֵא רָ֑ע אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה עֹשֶׂ֥ה כָל־אֵֽלֶּה:
8Cause the heavens above to drip, and let the skies pour down righteousness; let the earth open, and let salvation and righteousness be fruitful; let it cause them to sprout together; I, the Lord, have created it. חהַרְעִ֚יפוּ שָׁמַ֙יִם֙ מִמַּ֔עַל וּשְׁחָקִ֖ים יִזְּלוּ־צֶ֑דֶק תִּפְתַּח־אֶ֣רֶץ וְיִפְרוּ־יֶ֗שַׁע וּצְדָקָ֚ה תַצְמִ֙יחַ֙ יַ֔חַד אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה בְּרָאתִֽיו:
9Woe to him who contends with his Creator, a potsherd among the potsherds of the earth, shall the clay say to its potter, “What do you make? And your work has no place.” טה֗וֹי רָב אֶת־יֹ֣צְר֔וֹ חֶ֖רֶשׂ אֶת־חַרְשֵׂ֣י אֲדָמָ֑ה הֲיֹאמַ֨ר חֹ֚מֶר לְיֹֽצְרוֹ֙ מַֽה־תַּֽעֲשֶׂ֔ה וּפָֽעָלְךָ֖ אֵין־יָדַ֥יִם לֽוֹ:
10Woe to him who says to a father, “What do you beget?” and to a woman, “Why do you experience birth pangs?” יה֛וֹי אֹמֵ֥ר לְאָ֖ב מַה־תּוֹלִ֑יד וּלְאִשָּׁ֖ה מַה־תְּחִילִֽין:
11So said the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and his Creator, “Ask Me about the signs; concerning My children and the work of My hands do you command Me? יאכֹּֽה־אָמַ֧ר יְהֹוָ֛ה קְד֥וֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל וְיוֹצְר֑וֹ הָאֹֽתִיּ֣וֹת שְׁאָל֔וּנִי עַל־בָּנַ֛י וְעַל־פֹּ֥עַל יָדַ֖י תְּצַוֻּֽנִי:
12I made the earth, and I created man upon it; as for Me-My hands stretched out the heavens, and I ordained their host. יבאָֽנֹכִי֙ עָשִׂ֣יתִי אֶ֔רֶץ וְאָדָ֖ם עָלֶ֣יהָ בָרָ֑אתִי אֲנִ֗י יָדַי֙ נָט֣וּ שָׁמַ֔יִם וְכָל־צְבָאָ֖ם צִוֵּֽיתִי:
13I aroused him with righteousness, and all his ways I will straighten out. He shall build My city and free My exiles, neither for a price nor for a bribe,” said the Lord of Hosts. יגאָֽנֹכִי֙ הַעִֽירֹתִ֣הוּ בְצֶ֔דֶק וְכָל־דְּרָכָ֖יו אֲיַשֵּׁ֑ר הֽוּא־יִבְנֶ֚ה עִירִי֙ וְגָֽלוּתִ֣י יְשַׁלֵּ֔חַ לֹ֚א בִמְחִיר֙ וְלֹ֣א בְשֹׁ֔חַד אָמַ֖ר יְהֹוָ֥ה צְבָאֽוֹת:
14So said the Lord, “The toil of Egypt and the merchandise of Cush and the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over to you and shall be yours; they shall follow you; they shall come over in chains, and they shall prostrate themselves before you, they shall pray to you, “Only in you is God and there is no other god. ידכֹּ֣ה | אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֗ה יְגִ֨יעַ מִצְרַ֥יִם וּֽסֲחַר־כּוּשׁ֘ וּסְבָאִים֘ אַנְשֵׁ֣י מִדָּה֒ עָלַ֚יִךְ יַֽעֲבֹ֙רוּ֙ וְלָ֣ךְ יִֽהְי֔וּ אַֽחֲרַ֣יִךְ יֵלֵ֔כוּ בַּזִּקִּ֖ים יַֽעֲבֹ֑רוּ וְאֵלַ֚יִךְ יִשְׁתַּֽחֲווּ֙ אֵלַ֣יִךְ יִתְפַּלָּ֔לוּ אַ֣ךְ בָּ֥ךְ אֵ֛ל וְאֵ֥ין ע֖וֹד אֶ֥פֶס אֱלֹהִֽים:
15Indeed, You are a God Who conceals Himself, the God of Israel, the Savior. טואָכֵ֕ן אַתָּ֖ה אֵ֣ל מִסְתַּתֵּ֑ר אֱלֹהֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מוֹשִֽׁיעַ:
16They shall be ashamed, yea disgraced, all of them the master painters shall go together in disgrace. טזבּ֥וֹשׁוּ וְגַם־נִכְלְמ֖וּ כֻּלָּ֑ם יַחְדָּו֙ הָֽלְכ֣וּ בַכְּלִמָּ֔ה חָֽרָשֵׁ֖י צִירִֽים:
17Israel shall be saved by the Lord [with] an everlasting salvation; you shall neither be ashamed nor disgraced to all eternity. יזיִשְׂרָאֵל֙ נוֹשַׁ֣ע בַּֽיהֹוָ֔ה תְּשׁוּעַ֖ת עֽוֹלָמִ֑ים לֹֽא־תֵב֥שׁוּ וְלֹֽא־תִכָּֽלְמ֖וּ עַד־ע֥וֹלְמֵי עַֽד:
18For so said the Lord, the Creator of heaven, Who is God, Who formed the earth and made it, He established it; He did not create it for a waste, He formed it to be inhabited, “I am the Lord and there is no other. יחכִּי־כֹ֣ה אָמַר־יְ֠הֹוָה בּוֹרֵ֨א הַשָּׁמַ֜יִם ה֣וּא הָֽאֱלֹהִ֗ים יֹצֵ֨ר הָאָ֚רֶץ וְעֹשָׂהּ֙ ה֣וּא כֽוֹנְנָ֔הּ לֹֽא־תֹ֥הוּ בְרָאָ֖הּ לָשֶׁ֣בֶת יְצָרָ֑הּ אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה וְאֵ֥ין עֽוֹד:
19Not in secret did I speak, in a place of a land of darkness; I did not say to the seed of Jacob, Seek Me, in vain; I am the Lord, Who speaks righteousness, declares things that are right. יטלֹ֧א בַסֵּ֣תֶר דִּבַּ֗רְתִּי בִּמְקוֹם֙ אֶ֣רֶץ חֹ֔שֶׁךְ לֹ֥א אָמַ֛רְתִּי לְזֶ֥רַע יַֽעֲקֹ֖ב תֹּ֣הוּ בַקְּשׁ֑וּנִי אֲנִ֚י יְהֹוָה֙ דֹּבֵ֣ר צֶ֔דֶק מַגִּ֖יד מֵֽישָׁרִֽים:
20Assemble and come, approach together, you survivors of the nations; those who carry their graven wooden image and pray to a god who does not save, do not know. כהִקָּֽבְצ֥וּ וָבֹ֛אוּ הִתְנַגְּשׁ֥וּ יַחְדָּ֖ו פְּלִיטֵ֣י הַגּוֹיִ֑ם לֹ֣א יָֽדְע֗וּ הַנֹּֽשְׂאִים֙ אֶת־עֵ֣ץ פִּסְלָ֔ם וּמִתְפַּלְּלִ֔ים אֶל־אֵ֖ל לֹ֥א יוֹשִֽׁיעַ:
21Declare and present, let them even take counsel together; who announced this from before, [who] declared it from then? Is it not I, the Lord, and there are no other gods besides Me, a just and saving God there is not besides Me. כאהַגִּ֣ידוּ וְהַגִּ֔ישׁוּ אַ֥ף יִוָּֽעֲצ֖וּ יַחְדָּ֑ו מִ֣י הִשְׁמִיעַ֩ זֹ֨את מִקֶּ֜דֶם מֵאָ֣ז הִגִּידָ֗הּ הֲל֨וֹא אֲנִ֚י יְהֹוָה֙ וְאֵֽין־ע֚וֹד אֱלֹהִים֙ מִבַּלְעָדַ֔י אֵל־צַדִּ֣יק וּמוֹשִׁ֔יעַ אַ֖יִן זֽוּלָתִֽי:
22Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth, for I am God, and there is no other. כבפְּנֽוּ־אֵלַ֥י וְהִוָּֽשְׁע֖וּ כָּל־אַפְסֵי־אָ֑רֶץ כִּ֥י אֲנִי־אֵ֖ל וְאֵ֥ין עֽוֹד:
23By Myself I swore, righteousness emanated from My mouth, a word, and it shall not be retracted, that to Me shall every knee kneel, every tongue shall swear.” כגבִּ֣י נִשְׁבַּ֔עְתִּי יָצָ֨א מִפִּ֧י צְדָקָ֛ה דָּבָ֖ר וְלֹ֣א יָשׁ֑וּב כִּי־לִי֙ תִּכְרַ֣ע כָּל־בֶּ֔רֶךְ תִּשָּׁבַ֖ע כָּל־לָשֽׁוֹן:
24But to me did He say by the Lord righteousness and strength, to Him shall come and be ashamed all who are incensed against Him. כדאַ֧ךְ בַּֽיהֹוָ֛ה לִ֥י אָמַ֖ר צְדָק֣וֹת וָעֹ֑ז עָדָיו֙ יָב֣וֹא וְיֵבֹ֔שׁוּ כֹּ֖ל הַנֶּֽחֱרִ֥ים בּֽוֹ:
25Through the Lord shall all the seed of Israel find righteousness and boast. כהבַּיהֹוָ֛ה יִצְדְּק֥וּ וְיִתְהַֽלְל֖וּ כָּל־זֶ֥רַע יִשְׂרָאֵֽל:

ISAÍAS 45

Así dice el Eterno a Su ungido, a Ciro cuya mano derecha he sostenido para someter naciones delante de él y aflojar los lomos de reyes, abrir las puertas ante él y para que ellas no se cierren.

(2) Yo andaré delante de ti y allanaré los lugares escabrosos. Rómperé en pedazos las puertas de bronce y cortaré en dos las barras de hierro.

(3) Y te daré los tesoros de las tinieblas y las riquezas ocultas de lugares secretos par que sepas que Yo, el Eterno, El que te llama por tu nombre, soy Dios de Israel.

(4) Por Jacob, Mi siervo, e Israel Mi elegido, te he llamado por tu nombre y te he apellidado aunque no me has conocido.

(5) Yo soy el Eterno y no hay ningún otro. Aparte de Mí, no hay Dios. Yo te he ceñido aunque no Me hayas conocido,

(6) para que sepan desde la salida del sol y desde el occidente, que no hay nadie aparte de Mí. Yo soy el Eterno y no hay ningún otro.

(7) Yo formo La Luz y crreo la oscuridad. Hago La Paz y creo el mal. Soy el Eterno, que hace todas esas cosas.

(8) Bajad de arriba, oh cielos. Los cielos, derramen rectitud. Tierra abrase para que puedan traer salvación y salga a La Luz la justicia. Yo el Eterno la he creado.

(9) ¡Ay del que contiene con su Hacedor como tiesto entre los tiestos de la tierra! ¿Acaso la arcilla le dice al que la moldea: “¿Qué haces?”, o “¿Tu obra no tiene manos?”

(10) ¡Ay del que le pregunta a su padre: “¿Por qué engendras?”, o a una mujer: “¿Por qué das a luz?”.

(11) Así dice Eterno, el Santo de Israel y su Hacedor: “Preguntadme acerca de las cosas que están por venir, acerca de Mis hijos y acerca de la obra de Mis manos, preguntadme.

(12) Yo hice la tierra y creé sobre ella al hombre. Yo con Mis manos, he expandido los cielos y doy órdenes a todas las huestes”.

(13) A Mi ungido, lo he elevado en victoria y enderezo todos sus caminos. Construirá Mi ciudad y dejará ir a Mis exiliados, pero no por precio o recompensa dice el Eterno de los Ejércitos.

(14) Así dice el Eterno: “El trabajo de Egipto, las mercancías de Etiopía y de los sabeos, hombres de elevada estatura vendrán a ti y serán tuyos. Iran en pos de ti. Vendrán en cadenas y se postrarán ante ti suplicando”. De seguro, Dios está en ti y no hay ningún otro.

(15) Verdaderamente, Tú eres un Dios que Se oculta, oh Dios de Israel, El Salvador.

(16) Se avergonzarán todos ellos, confundidos. Los que hacen ídolos irán juntos en confusión.

(17) ¡Oh Israel, tú que eres salvado por el Eterno con salvación eterna, no serás avergonzado ni confundido por toda la eternidad!

(18) porque así dice el Eterno que creó los cielos: Él es Dios; formó la tierra y la hizo; la estableció y no la creó para ser desierta. La formó para ser habitada. yo soy el Eterno y no hay ningún otro.

(19) No he hablado en secreto, en un lugar de la tierra de tinieblas. No le dije a los descendientes de Jacob: “Buscadme en vano”. Yo el Eterno hablo justicia. Declaro las cosas que están bien.

(20) Reuníos y venid. Acercaos, vosotros que os habéis escapado de las naciones, que nada sabéis de los que llevan la madera de sus imágenes esculpidas y adoran a un dios que no puede salvar.

(21) Declarad y acercadles para que tomen consejo juntos. ¿Quién ha anunciado esto desde tiempos antiguos? ¿No he sido acaso Yo el Eterno? Y no hay Dios aparte de Mí, Dios justo y salvador.

(22) Mirad hacia Mí y seréis salvados en todos los confines de la tierra porque soy Dios y no hay ningún otro.

(23) Por yo mismo he jurado. De mi boca ha salido la palabra en justicia y no volverá el hecho de que toda rodilla se inclinará delante de mí, toda lengua jurará.

(24) Sólo en el Eterno (dirá alguien de Mí) es la victoria y al fuerza. Ante Él se presentarán los hombres en confusión, todos los que se airaban contra Él. (25) En el Eterno, toda la progenitura de Israel se justificará y se gloriará.

Chanukah Day 8

Bamidbar – Number – Chapter 8(1-4)

1The Lord spoke to Moses, saying: אוַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶל־משֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר:
2Speak to Aaron and say to him: “When you light the lamps, the seven lamps shall cast their light toward the face of the menorah.” בדַּבֵּר֙ אֶל־אַֽהֲרֹ֔ן וְאָֽמַרְתָּ֖ אֵלָ֑יו בְּהַֽעֲלֹֽתְךָ֙ אֶת־הַנֵּרֹ֔ת אֶל־מוּל֙ פְּנֵ֣י הַמְּנוֹרָ֔ה יָאִ֖ירוּ שִׁבְעַ֥ת הַנֵּרֽוֹת:
3Aaron did so; he lit the lamps toward the face of the menorah, as the Lord had commanded Moses. גוַיַּ֤עַשׂ כֵּן֙ אַֽהֲרֹ֔ן אֶל־מוּל֙ פְּנֵ֣י הַמְּנוֹרָ֔ה הֶֽעֱלָ֖ה נֵֽרֹתֶ֑יהָ כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶת־משֶֽׁה:
4This was the form of the menorah: hammered work of gold, from its base to its flower it was hammered work; according to the form that the Lord had shown Moses, so did he construct the menorah. דוְזֶ֨ה מַֽעֲשֵׂ֤ה הַמְּנֹרָה֙ מִקְשָׁ֣ה זָהָ֔ב עַד־יְרֵכָ֥הּ עַד־פִּרְחָ֖הּ מִקְשָׁ֣ה הִ֑וא כַּמַּרְאֶ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר הֶרְאָ֤ה יְהֹוָה֙ אֶת־משֶׁ֔ה כֵּ֥ן עָשָׂ֖ה אֶת־הַמְּנֹרָֽה:

Números 8(1-4)

Y le dijo el Eterno a Moisés: (2) “Dile a Aarón: Cuando enciendas las luces del candelabro, hazlo de modo que alumbren hace adelante”. (3) Y Aarón así lo hizo, orientando las siete luminarias hacia adelante, conforme a la orden impartída a Moisés por el Eterno. (4) La hechura del candelabro era de oro cincelado a martillo, tanto su tronco como sus flores(glóbulo), conforme al modelo que le había mostrado el Eterno a Moisés.

54On the eighth day, the chieftain was of the sons of Manasseh, Gamliel the son of Pedazhur. נדבַּיּוֹם֙ הַשְּׁמִינִ֔י נָשִׂ֖יא לִבְנֵ֣י מְנַשֶּׁ֑ה גַּמְלִיאֵ֖ל בֶּן־פְּדָהצֽוּר:
55His offering was one silver bowl weighing one hundred and thirty [shekels], one silver sprinkling basin [weighing] seventy shekels according to the holy shekel, both filled with fine flour mixed with olive oil for a meal offering. נהקָרְבָּנ֞וֹ קַֽעֲרַת־כֶּ֣סֶף אַחַ֗ת שְׁלשִׁ֣ים וּמֵאָה֘ מִשְׁקָלָהּ֒ מִזְרָ֤ק אֶחָד֙ כֶּ֔סֶף שִׁבְעִ֥ים שֶׁ֖קֶל בְּשֶׁ֣קֶל הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ שְׁנֵיהֶ֣ם | מְלֵאִ֗ים סֹ֛לֶת בְּלוּלָ֥ה בַשֶּׁ֖מֶן לְמִנְחָֽה:
56One spoon [weighing] ten [shekels] of gold filled with incense. נוכַּ֥ף אַחַ֛ת עֲשָׂרָ֥ה זָהָ֖ב מְלֵאָ֥ה קְטֹֽרֶת:
57One young bull, one ram and one lamb in its first year for a burnt offering. נזפַּ֣ר אֶחָ֞ד בֶּן־בָּקָ֗ר אַ֧יִל אֶחָ֛ד כֶּֽבֶשׂ־אֶחָ֥ד בֶּן־שְׁנָת֖וֹ לְעֹלָֽה:
58One young he goat for a sin offering. נחשְׂעִיר־עִזִּ֥ים אֶחָ֖ד לְחַטָּֽאת:
59And for the peace offering: two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs in their first year; this was the offering of Gamliel the son of Pedazhur. נטוּלְזֶ֣בַח הַשְּׁלָמִים֘ בָּקָ֣ר שְׁנַ֒יִם֒ אֵילִ֤ם חֲמִשָּׁה֙ עַתֻּדִ֣ים חֲמִשָּׁ֔ה כְּבָשִׂ֥ים בְּנֵֽי־שָׁנָ֖ה חֲמִשָּׁ֑ה זֶ֛ה קָרְבַּ֥ן גַּמְלִיאֵ֖ל בֶּן־פְּדָהצֽוּר:
60On the ninth day, the chieftain was of the sons of Benjamin, Abidan the son of Gideoni. סבַּיּוֹם֙ הַתְּשִׁיעִ֔י נָשִׂ֖יא לִבְנֵ֣י בִנְיָמִ֑ן אֲבִידָ֖ן בֶּן־גִּדְעֹנִֽי:

84This was the dedication offering of the altar presented by the chieftains on the day it was anointed; there were twelve silver bowls, twelve silver basins and twelve gold spoons. פדזֹ֣את | חֲנֻכַּ֣ת הַמִּזְבֵּ֗חַ בְּיוֹם֙ הִמָּשַׁ֣ח אֹת֔וֹ מֵאֵ֖ת נְשִׂיאֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל קַֽעֲרֹ֨ת כֶּ֜סֶף שְׁתֵּ֣ים עֶשְׂרֵ֗ה מִזְרְקֵי־כֶ֨סֶף֙ שְׁנֵ֣ים עָשָׂ֔ר כַּפּ֥וֹת זָהָ֖ב שְׁתֵּ֥ים עֶשְׂרֵֽה:
85The weight of each silver bowl was one hundred and thirty [shekels], and that of each basin was seventy [shekels]; all the silver of the vessels weighed in total two thousand four hundred [shekels] according to the holy shekel. פהשְׁלשִׁ֣ים וּמֵאָ֗ה הַקְּעָרָ֤ה הָֽאַחַת֙ כֶּ֔סֶף וְשִׁבְעִ֖ים הַמִּזְרָ֣ק הָֽאֶחָ֑ד כֹּ֚ל כֶּ֣סֶף הַכֵּלִ֔ים אַלְפַּ֥יִם וְאַרְבַּע־מֵא֖וֹת בְּשֶׁ֥קֶל הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ:
86Twelve gold spoons filled with incense; each spoon weighing ten [shekels] according to the holy shekel; all the gold spoons totaled one hundred and twenty shekels. פוכַּפּ֨וֹת זָהָ֤ב שְׁתֵּֽים־עֶשְׂרֵה֙ מְלֵאֹ֣ת קְטֹ֔רֶת עֲשָׂרָ֧ה עֲשָׂרָ֛ה הַכַּ֖ף בְּשֶׁ֣קֶל הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ כָּל־זְהַ֥ב הַכַּפּ֖וֹת עֶשְׂרִ֥ים וּמֵאָֽה:
87The total of the cattle for the burnt offerings was twelve bulls, twelve rams, and twelve lambs in their first year with their meal offerings. And [there were] twelve young he goats for sin offerings. פזכָּל־הַבָּקָ֨ר לָֽעֹלָ֜ה שְׁנֵ֧ים עָשָׂ֣ר פָּרִ֗ים אֵילִ֤ם שְׁנֵֽים־עָשָׂר֙ כְּבָשִׂ֧ים בְּנֵֽי־שָׁנָ֛ה שְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָׂ֖ר וּמִנְחָתָ֑ם וּשְׂעִירֵ֥י עִזִּ֛ים שְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָׂ֖ר לְחַטָּֽאת:
88The total of cattle for the peace offerings was twenty four oxen, sixty rams, sixty he goats, and sixty lambs in their first year. This was the dedication offering for the altar, after it was anointed. פחוְכֹ֞ל בְּקַ֣ר | זֶ֣בַח הַשְּׁלָמִ֗ים עֶשְׂרִ֣ים וְאַרְבָּעָה֘ פָּרִים֒ אֵילִ֤ם שִׁשִּׁים֙ עַתֻּדִ֣ים שִׁשִּׁ֔ים כְּבָשִׂ֥ים בְּנֵֽי־שָׁנָ֖ה שִׁשִּׁ֑ים זֹ֚את חֲנֻכַּ֣ת הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ אַֽחֲרֵ֖י הִמָּשַׁ֥ח אֹתֽוֹ:
89When Moses would come into the Tent of Meeting to speak with Him, he would hear the voice speaking to him from the two cherubim above the covering which was over the Ark of Testimony, and He spoke to him. פטוּבְבֹ֨א משֶׁ֜ה אֶל־אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵד֘ לְדַבֵּ֣ר אִתּוֹ֒ וַיִּשְׁמַ֨ע אֶת־הַקּ֜וֹל מִדַּבֵּ֣ר אֵלָ֗יו מֵעַ֤ל הַכַּפֹּ֨רֶת֙ אֲשֶׁר֙ עַל־אֲרֹ֣ן הָֽעֵדֻ֔ת מִבֵּ֖ין שְׁנֵ֣י הַכְּרֻבִ֑ים וַיְדַבֵּ֖ר אֵלָֽיו:

Bamidbar – Number – Chapter 8

1The Lord spoke to Moses, saying: אוַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶל־משֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר:
2Speak to Aaron and say to him: “When you light the lamps, the seven lamps shall cast their light toward the face of the menorah.” בדַּבֵּר֙ אֶל־אַֽהֲרֹ֔ן וְאָֽמַרְתָּ֖ אֵלָ֑יו בְּהַֽעֲלֹֽתְךָ֙ אֶת־הַנֵּרֹ֔ת אֶל־מוּל֙ פְּנֵ֣י הַמְּנוֹרָ֔ה יָאִ֖ירוּ שִׁבְעַ֥ת הַנֵּרֽוֹת:
3Aaron did so; he lit the lamps toward the face of the menorah, as the Lord had commanded Moses. גוַיַּ֤עַשׂ כֵּן֙ אַֽהֲרֹ֔ן אֶל־מוּל֙ פְּנֵ֣י הַמְּנוֹרָ֔ה הֶֽעֱלָ֖ה נֵֽרֹתֶ֑יהָ כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶת־משֶֽׁה:
4This was the form of the menorah: hammered work of gold, from its base to its flower it was hammered work; according to the form that the Lord had shown Moses, so did he construct the menorah. דוְזֶ֨ה מַֽעֲשֵׂ֤ה הַמְּנֹרָה֙ מִקְשָׁ֣ה זָהָ֔ב עַד־יְרֵכָ֥הּ עַד־פִּרְחָ֖הּ מִקְשָׁ֣ה הִ֑וא כַּמַּרְאֶ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר הֶרְאָ֤ה יְהֹוָה֙ אֶת־משֶׁ֔ה כֵּ֥ן עָשָׂ֖ה אֶת־הַמְּנֹרָֽה:

Estos versos, hablan de las ofrendas que presentaron los jefes  de las tribus de Israel, el día que Moisés termino de construir el Tabernáculo.

Números 7 (54 – 89)

(54) El octavo día ofreció Gamaliel, hijo de Pedasur y jefe de la tribu de Manasés.
(55) Su ofrenda fue de un plato de plata que pesaba ciento treinta siclos y un cántaro de plata de setenta siclos sagrados, ambos llenos de harina amasada con aceite, por ofrenda vegetal;
(56) una cuchara de oro de diez siclos, llena de incienso; (57) un novillo, un carnero y un cordero primal por holocausto;
(58) un macho cabrío por ofrenda expiatoria
(59) y por sacrificio, dos ovinos, cinco carneros, cinco machos cabríos y cinco corderos primales. Tal fue la ofrenda de Gamaliel, hijo de Pedasur.
(60) El noveno día ofrendó Abidán, hijo de Gedoni y jefe de la tribu de Benjamín.
(61) Su ofrenda fue de un plato de plata, que pesaba ciento treinta siclos y un cántaro de plata de setenta siclos sagrados, ambos llenos de harina amasada con aceite, por ofrenda vegetal;
(62) una cuchara de oro de diez siclos, llena de incienso;
(63)un novillo, un carnero y un cordero primal por holocausto;
(64) un macho cabrío por ofrenda expiatoria,
(65) y por sacrificio pacífico, dos bovinos, cinco carneros, cinco machos cabríos y cinco corderos primales. Tal fue la ofrenda de Abidán, hijo de Gedoni.
(66) El día  décimo, brindó su ofrenda el jefe de la tribu de Dan, Ahiezer, hijo de Amisaday.
(67) Su ofrenda fue de un  plato de plata, que pesaba ciento treinta siclos y un cántaro de plata de setenta siclos sagrados, ambos llenos de harina amasada con aceite, por ofrenda vegetal;
(68) una cuchara de oro de diez siclos, llena de incienso;
(69) un novillo, un carnero y un cordero primal;
(70) un macho cabrío por ofrenda expiatoria
(71) y por sacrificio pacífico dos bovinos, cinco carneros, cinco machos cabríos y cinco corderos primales. Tal fue la ofrenda de Ahiezer, hijo de Amisadai.
(72) El día undécimo ofrendó Pagiel, hijo de Ocrán y jefe de la tribu de Aser.
(73) Su ofrenda fue de un plato de plata que pesaba ciento treinta siclos y un cántaro de plata de setenta siclos, ambos llenos de harina amasada con aceite, por ofrenda vegetal;
(74) un novillo, un carnero y un cordero primal por holocausto,
(76) un macho cabrío por ofrenda expiatoria
(77) y por sacrificio pacífico, dos bovinos, cinco carneros, cinco machos cabríos y cinco corderos primates. Tal fue la ofrenda de Pagiel, hijo de Ocrán.
(78) El día duodécimo presentó su ofrenda Ahora, hijo de Enán y jefe de la tribu de Neftalí. 
(79) Consistió en un plato de plata que pesaba ciento treinta siclos y un cántaro de plata de setenta siclos sagrados, ambos llenos de harina amasada con aceite, por ofrenda vegetal;
(80) una cuchara de oro de diez siclos llena de incienso;
(81) un novillo, un carnero y un carnero primal por holocausto;
(82) un macho cabrío por ofrenda expiatoria
(83) y por sacrificio pacífico dos bovinos, cinco carneros, cinco machos cabríos y cinco corderos primates. Tal fue la ofrenda de Agira, hijo de Enán.
(84) Con esas ofrendas de los jefes de las tribus de Israel, se inauguró el altar con doce platos de plata, doce cántaros de plata, doce cucharas de oro.
(85) Cada plato pesaba ciento treinta siclos y cada cántaro setenta siclos, sumando toda la plata ofrendada dos mil cuatrocientos siclos.
(86) Además donaron doce cucharas de oro llenas de incienso, que pesaba diez siclos sagrados cada una, o sea ciento veinte total.
(87) El ganado para el holocausto sumó doce bovinos, doce carneros y doce corderos de un año con sus ofrendas vegetales y también sumaron doce los machos cabríos para las ofrendas expiatorias.
(88) Y el total de los animales consagrados al sacrificio pacífico fue de veinticuatro novillos, sesenta carneros, sesenta machos cabríos y sesentas corderos de un año. Tal fue lo consagrado al altar después de ser ungido.
(89) Y al llegar Moisés al Tabernáculo  para hablar con Él, escuchó su voz que le hablaba desde arriba del propiciatorio que estaba sobre el Arca del testimonio, entre los dos querubines.

Daily Thought

The Last War

Some people are waiting for a final, apocalyptic war.

But the final war is fought
not on battlefields,
nor at sea,
nor in the skies above.

Neither is it a war between leaders or nations.

The final war is fought in the heart of each human being,
with the armies of his or her deeds in this world.

And with a simple decision:
Am I here to be swallowed alive into the meaningless confusion?
Or am I here to shine light?

The final war is the battle of Chanukah
and the miracle of light.

La Ultima Guerra

Algunas personas están esperando una guerra final, apocalíptica.

Pero la guerra final se libra.
no en los campos de batalla,
ni en el mar,
ni en los cielos de arriba.

Tampoco es una guerra entre líderes o naciones.

La guerra final se libra en el corazón de cada ser humano,
con los ejércitos de sus obras en este mundo.

Y con una simple decisión:
¿Estoy aquí para ser tragado vivo en la confusión sin sentido?
¿O estoy aquí para brillar la luz?

La guerra final es la batalla de Januca.
Y el milagro de la luz.
