Did you know that Rosh Hashanah celebrates the birthday of humanity? According to tradition, from sundown on September 11 we entered the year 5787 since the creation of our first parents, Adam and Eve. The sound of the shofar invites us to begin again, while the apple dipped in honey promises a cycle filled with sweetness. May we this year have the merit to seethe boundless blessings of the Eternal, G-d Most High:the ones that are already here,

the ones that surround us every day,

the ones that stand before our eyes.

If we began to count them,

we would never reach the end.

Shall we begin to count the blessings? 😉

A message for the soul in this new cycle:

(Deuteronomy 32:10–11)

He found him in a desert land,

in a desolate, howling waste.

He encompassed him, cared for him,

guarded him as the pupil of His eye.

As an eagle awakens its nest

and hovers over its young,

He spreads His wings, takes him,

and carries him on His pinions.

See now that I, I am He,

and there is no god with Me.

I put to death and I bring to life;

I wound and I heal:

none can deliver from My hand.
