Bereshit – Genesís – Chapter 2(1-3)

1Now the heavens and the earth were completed and all their host. אוַיְכֻלּ֛וּ הַשָּׁמַ֥יִם וְהָאָ֖רֶץ וְכָל־צְבָאָֽם:
2And God completed on the seventh day His work that He did, and He abstained on the seventh day from all His work that He did. בוַיְכַ֤ל אֱלֹהִים֙ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֔י מְלַאכְתּ֖וֹ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשָׂ֑ה וַיִּשְׁבֹּת֙ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֔י מִכָּל־מְלַאכְתּ֖וֹ אֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשָֽׂה:
3And God blessed the seventh day and He hallowed it, for thereon He abstained from all His work that God created to do. גוַיְבָ֤רֶךְ אֱלֹהִים֙ אֶת־י֣וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֔י וַיְקַדֵּ֖שׁ אֹת֑וֹ כִּ֣י ב֤וֹ שָׁבַת֙ מִכָּל־מְלַאכְתּ֔וֹ אֲשֶׁר־בָּרָ֥א אֱלֹהִ֖ים לַֽעֲשֽׂוֹת:

Genesis 2: (1-3)

Y fueron acabado los cielos, la tierra y todas sus huestes. (2) Y habiendo terminado Dios al día séptimo la obra que había hecho, descansó el día séptimo de todo el trabajo realizado. (3) Y Dios bendigo el séptimo día y lo santificó porque en él descansó de toda la obra que había creado.

Yeshayahu – Isaiah – Chapter 58(13-14)

13If you restrain your foot because of the Sabbath, from performing your affairs on My holy day, and you call the Sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord honored, and you honor it by not doing your wonted ways, by not pursuing your affairs and speaking words. יגאִם־תָּשִׁ֚יב מִשַּׁבָּת֙ רַגְלֶ֔ךָ עֲשׂ֥וֹת חֲפָצֶ֖יךָ בְּי֣וֹם קָדְשִׁ֑י וְקָרָ֨אתָ לַשַּׁבָּ֜ת עֹ֗נֶג לִקְד֚וֹשׁ יְהֹוָה֙ מְכֻבָּ֔ד וְכִבַּדְתּוֹ֙ מֵֽעֲשׂ֣וֹת דְּרָכֶ֔יךָ מִמְּצ֥וֹא חֶפְצְךָ֖ וְדַבֵּ֥ר דָּבָֽר:
14Then, you shall delight with the Lord, and I will cause you to ride on the high places of the land, and I will give you to eat the heritage of Jacob your father, for the mouth of the Lord has spoken. ידאָ֗ז תִּתְעַנַּג֙ עַל־יְהֹוָ֔ה וְהִרְכַּבְתִּ֖יךָ עַל־בָּ֣מֳתֵי(כתיב בָּ֣מֳותֵי) אָ֑רֶץ וְהַֽאֲכַלְתִּ֗יךָ נַֽחֲלַת֙ יַֽעֲקֹ֣ב אָבִ֔יךָ כִּ֛י פִּ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה דִּבֵּֽר:

Isaías 58:13 Si dejas de rechazar el Sábado, si te abstienes de dedicarte a tu negocio en Mi día sagrado y consideras el Sábado como un deleite, si consideras honroso el día sagrado del Eterno y lo honras, si no haces tus propios designios ese día, ni que ejercer tu negocio o hablas de él, (14) entonces te deleitaras en el Eterno y te haré cabalgar sobre los lugares elevados de la tierra; te alimentaré con la herencia de Jacob tu padre porque la boca del Eterno así lo a dicho.

Yeshayahu – Isaiah – Chapter 66(23)

23 And it shall be from new moon to new moon and from Sabbath to Sabbath, that all flesh shall come to prostrate themselves before Me,” says the Lord. כגוְהָיָ֗ה מִֽדֵּי־חֹ֙דֶשׁ֙ בְּחָדְשׁ֔וֹ וּמִדֵּ֥י שַׁבָּ֖ת בְּשַׁבַּתּ֑וֹ יָב֧וֹא כָל־בָּשָֹ֛ר לְהִשְׁתַּֽחֲו‍ֹ֥ת לְפָנַ֖י אָמַ֥ר יְהֹוָֽה:

Isaías 66(23) Y acontecerá que de una luna nueva a otra y de un sábado a otro, toda criatura vendrá a reverenciarme, dice el Eterno.

Yeshayahu – Isaiah – Chapter 56(1-2)

1So says the Lord, “Keep justice and practice righteousness, for My salvation is near to come, and My benevolence to be revealed.” אכֹּה אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֔ה שִׁמְר֥וּ מִשְׁפָּ֖ט וַֽעֲשׂ֣וּ צְדָקָ֑ה כִּֽי־קְרוֹבָ֚ה יְשֽׁוּעָתִי֙ לָב֔וֹא וְצִדְקָתִ֖י לְהִגָּלֽוֹת:
2Fortunate is the man who will do this and the person who will hold fast to it, he who keeps the Sabbath from profaning it and guards his hand from doing any evil. באַשְׁרֵ֚י אֱנוֹשׁ֙ יַֽעֲשֶׂה־זֹּ֔את וּבֶן־אָדָ֖ם יַֽחֲזִ֣יק בָּ֑הּ שֹׁמֵ֚ר שַׁבָּת֙ מֵֽחַלְּל֔וֹ וְשֹׁמֵ֥ר יָד֖וֹ מֵֽעֲשׂ֥וֹת כָּל־רָֽע:

Isaías 56(1-2) Así dice el Eterno: Guardad la justicia y haced lo que es recto porque Mi salvación está próxima y Mi justicia será revelada. (2) Feliz es el hombre que hace esto y el hijo del hombre que a ello se asiere, guardándose de profanar el sábado y que guarde su mano de toda obra mala.

Yirmiyahu – Jeremiah – Chapter 17(24-27)

24And it shall be if you hearken to Me, says the Lord, not to bring any burden into the gates of this city on the Sabbath day and to hallow the Sabbath day not to perform any labor thereon, כדוְ֠הָיָה אִם־שָׁמֹ֨עַ תִּשְׁמְע֚וּן אֵלַי֙ נְאֻם־יְהֹוָ֔ה לְבִלְתִּ֣י | הָבִ֣יא מַשָּׂ֗א בְּשַֽׁעֲרֵ֛י הָעִ֥יר הַזֹּ֖את בְּי֣וֹם הַשַּׁבָּ֑ת וּלְקַדֵּשׁ֙ אֶת־י֣וֹם הַשַּׁבָּ֔ת לְבִלְתִּ֥י עֲשׂוֹת־בּ֖וֹ (כתיב בֹּ֖ה) כָּל־מְלָאכָֽה:
25Then shall there enter into the gates of this city kings and princes sitting on David’s throne, riding in chariots and with horses, they and their princes, the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and this city shall be inhabited forever. כהוּבָ֣אוּ בְשַֽׁעֲרֵ֣י הָעִ֣יר הַזֹּ֡את מְלָכִ֣ים | וְשָׂרִ֡ים יֹֽשְׁבִים֩ עַל־כִּסֵּ֨א דָוִ֜ד רֹֽכְבִ֣ים | בָּרֶ֣כֶב וּבַסּוּסִ֗ים הֵמָּה וְשָׂ֣רֵיהֶ֔ם אִ֥ישׁ יְהוּדָ֖ה וְיֹֽשְׁבֵ֣י יְרֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם וְיָֽשְׁבָ֛ה הָֽעִ֥יר־הַזֹּ֖את לְעוֹלָֽם:
26And they shall come from the cities of Judah and from the environs of Jerusalem and from the land of Benjamin and from the lowland and from the mountain and from the Negev, bringing burnt offerings and sacrifices and meal-offerings and frankincense, and those bringing thanksgiving offerings to the house of the Lord. כווּבָ֣אוּ מֵֽעָֽרֵי־יְ֠הוּדָה וּמִסְּבִיב֨וֹת יְרֽוּשָׁלִַ֜ם וּמֵאֶ֣רֶץ בִּנְיָמִ֗ן וּמִן־הַשְּׁפֵלָ֚ה וּמִן־הָהָר֙ וּמִן־הַנֶּ֔גֶב מְבִאִ֛ים עֹלָ֥ה וְזֶ֖בַח וּמִנְחָ֣ה וּלְבוֹנָ֑ה וּמְבִאֵ֥י תוֹדָ֖ה בֵּ֥ית יְהֹוָֽה:
27And if you will not hearken to Me to hallow the Sabbath day and not to carry burdens and to come into the gates of Jerusalem on the Sabbath, I will kindle a fire in her gates, and it will consume the palaces of Jerusalem, and it will not be quenched. כזוְאִם־לֹ֨א תִשְׁמְע֜וּ אֵלַ֗י לְקַדֵּשׁ֙ אֶת־י֣וֹם הַשַּׁבָּ֔ת וּלְבִלְתִּ֣י | שְׂאֵ֣ת מַשָּׂ֗א וּבֹ֛א בְּשַֽׁעֲרֵ֥י יְרֽוּשָׁלִַ֖ם בְּי֣וֹם הַשַּׁבָּ֑ת וְהִצַּ֧תִּי אֵ֣שׁ בִּשְׁעָרֶ֗יהָ וְאָֽכְלָ֛ה אַרְמְנ֥וֹת יְרֽוּשָׁלִַ֖ם וְלֹ֥א תִכְבֶּֽה:

Jeremías 17:24 Y ocurrirá, si me escucháis diligentemente, dice el Eterno, no pasando carga alguna por los portales de esta ciudad el día sábado, sino santificando el día de descanso sin hacer trabajo alguno, (25) que entrarán por los portones de esta ciudad reyes y príncipes que se sentarán sobre el trono de David, vendrán en carros y caballos, ellos y sus príncipes, los hombres de Judá y los moradores de Jerusalén y esta ciudad será habitada para siempre. (26)Y vendrán de las ciudades de Judá y de los lugares enredador de Jerusalén, de las tierras de Benjamín y de la llanura, de las montañas y del sur, trayendo holocausto y sacrificio, ofrendas vegetales e incienso y trayendo sacrificios de agradecimiento a la Casa del Eterno. (27) Pero si no Me escucháis para santificar el día sábado y que lleváis cargas y entráis por los portones de Jerusalén el día sábado, entonces prenderé fuego a dichos portales y devoraré los palacios de Jerusalén y no será apagado.

Nehemiah – Nehemiah – Chapter 13(18)

18Did not your ancestors do this, and our God brought upon us all this calamity, and upon this city, and you are increasing the wrath upon Israel by profaning the Sabbath?” יחהֲל֨וֹא כֹ֚ה עָשׂוּ֙ אֲבֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם וַיָּבֵ֨א אֱלֹהֵ֜ינוּ עָלֵ֗ינוּ אֵת כָּל־הָרָעָ֣ה הַזֹּ֔את וְעַ֖ל הָעִ֣יר הַזֹּ֑את וְאַתֶּ֞ם מֽוֹסִיפִ֚ים חָרוֹן֙ עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל לְחַלֵּ֖ל אֶת־הַשַּׁבָּֽת:

Nehemías 13:18 ¿No es lo mismo que hicieron vuestros padres, haciendo recaer la ira de Dios sobre nosotros y sobre esta ciudad? ¿Queréis acarrear aún más males sobre Israel profanando el sábado?

19I am the Lord your God: walk in My statutes, and keep My ordinances and fulfill them. יטאֲנִי֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֔ם בְּחֻקּוֹתַ֖י לֵ֑כוּ וְאֶת־מִשְׁפָּטַ֥י שִׁמְר֖וּ וַֽעֲשׂ֥וּ אוֹתָֽם:
20And keep My Sabbaths holy so that they be a sign between Me and you, that you may know that I am the Lord your God.’ כוְאֶת־שַׁבְּתוֹתַ֖י קַדֵּ֑שׁוּ וְהָי֚וּ לְאוֹת֙ בֵּינִ֣י וּבֵֽינֵיכֶ֔ם לָדַ֕עַת כִּ֛י אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם:

Ezequiel 20:19 Yo soy Dios el Eterno. Andad en Mis estatutos, guardad Mis preceptos y cumplidlos. (20) Y santificad Mis días de descanso (sábado) y ellos serán señal entre Yo y vosotros para que sepáis que Yo soy el Eterno Vuestro Dios.

Tehillim – Psalms – Chapter 92

1A song with musical accompaniment for the Sabbath day. אמִזְמ֥וֹר שִׁ֜֗יר לְי֣וֹם הַשַּׁבָּֽת:
2It is good to give thanks to the Lord, and to sing to Your name, O Most High. בט֗וֹב לְהֹד֥וֹת לַֽיהֹוָ֑ה וּלְזַמֵּ֖ר לְשִׁמְךָ֣ עֶלְיֽוֹן:
3To declare in the morning Your kindness and Your faith at night. גלְהַגִּ֣יד בַּבֹּ֣קֶר חַסְדֶּ֑ךָ וֶֽ֜אֱמוּנָֽתְךָ֗ בַּלֵּילֽוֹת:
4Upon a ten-stringed harp and upon a psaltery, with speech upon a harp. דעֲלֵֽי־עָ֖שׂוֹר וַֽעֲלֵי־נָ֑בֶל עֲלֵ֖י הִגָּי֣וֹן בְּכִנּֽוֹר:
5For You have made me happy O Lord, with Your work; with the work of Your hands I shall exult. הכִּ֚י שִׂמַּחְתַּ֣נִי יְהֹוָ֣ה בְּפָֽעֳלֶ֑ךָ בְּמַֽעֲשֵׂ֖י יָדֶ֣יךָ אֲרַנֵּֽן:
6How great are Your works, O Lord! Your thoughts are very deep. ומַה־גָּֽדְל֣וּ מַֽעֲשֶׂ֣יךָ יְהֹוָ֑ה מְ֜אֹ֗ד עָֽמְק֥וּ מַחְשְׁבֹתֶֽיךָ:
7A boorish man does not know; neither does a fool understand this. זאִ֣ישׁ בַּ֖עַר לֹ֥א יֵדָ֑ע וּ֜כְסִ֗יל לֹֽא־יָבִ֥ין אֶת־זֹֽאת:
8When the wicked flourish like grass, and all workers of violence blossom, only to be destroyed to eternity. חבִּפְרֹ֚חַ רְשָׁעִ֨ים | כְּֽמ֥וֹ עֵ֗שֶׂב וַ֖יָּצִיצוּ כָּל־פֹּ֣עֲלֵי אָ֑וֶן לְהִשָּֽׁמְדָ֥ם עֲדֵי־עַֽד:
9But You remain on high forever, O Lord. טוְאַתָּ֥ה מָ֜ר֗וֹם לְעֹ֘לָ֥ם יְהֹוָֽה:
10For behold Your enemies, O Lord, for behold Your enemies will perish; all workers of violence will scatter. יכִּ֚י הִנֵּ֪ה אֹֽיְבֶ֡יךָ | יְֽהוָ֗ה כִּֽי־הִנֵּ֣ה אֹֽיְבֶ֣יךָ יֹאבֵ֑דוּ יִ֜תְפָּֽרְד֗וּ כָּל־פֹּ֥עֲלֵי אָֽוֶן:
11But You have raised my horn like that of a wild ox; to soak me with fresh oil. יאוַתָּ֣רֶם כִּרְאֵ֣ים קַרְנִ֑י בַּ֜לֹּתִ֗י בְּשֶׁ֣מֶן רַֽעֲנָֽן:
12My eye has gazed upon those who stare at me [with envy]; when evildoers rise up against me, my ears hear [them]. יבוַתַּבֵּ֥ט עֵינִ֗י בְּשׁ֫וּרָ֥י בַּקָּמִ֣ים עָלַ֣י מְרֵעִ֑ים תִּשְׁמַ֥עְנָה אָזְנָֽי:
13The righteous one flourishes like the palm; as a cedar in Lebanon he grows. יגצַדִּיק כַּתָּמָ֣ר יִפְרָ֑ח כְּאֶ֖רֶז בַּלְּבָנ֣וֹן יִשְׂגֶּֽה:
14Planted in the house of the Lord, in the courts of our God they will flourish. ידשְׁתוּלִים בְּבֵ֣ית יְהֹוָ֑ה בְּחַצְר֖וֹת אֱלֹהֵ֣ינוּ יַפְרִֽיחוּ:
15They will yet grow in old age; fat and fresh will they be. טוע֖וֹד יְנוּב֣וּן בְּשֵׂיבָ֑ה דְּשֵׁנִ֖ים וְרַֽעֲנַנִּ֣ים יִֽהְיֽוּ:
16To declare that the Lord is upright, my rock in Whom there is no injustice. טזלְהַגִּיד כִּֽי־יָשָׁ֣ר יְהֹוָ֑ה צ֜וּרִ֗י וְֽלֹא־עַוְלָ֥תָה(כתיב עַלָ֥תָה) בּֽוֹ:

SALMO 92

Cántico. Para el día Sábado (Shabat, descanso). (2) Es cosa buena alabar al Eterno y cantar alabanzas a Tu Nombre, oh Altísimo, (3) declarando Tu benevolencia por la mañana, y tu fidelidad por las noches, (4) con un instrumento de diez cuerdas, y con un arpa y con el dulce son de la lira. (5) Porque Tú, Oh Eterno, me has alegrado con Tu labor, exaltaré las obras de Tus manos. (6) ¡Cuán grande son Tus obras, oh Eterno! Y Tus pensamientos son muy profundos como la hierba. (7) El que es bruto no sabe, y el tonto no comprende esto. (8) Cuando los inicuos florecen como la hierba, y cuando los obradores de maldad proliferan, es cuando más pueden ser destruidos. (9) Pero Tú, oh Eterno, está en lo alto para siempre. (10) Porque he aquí que Tus enemigos, oh Eterno, tus enemigos perecerán. Todos los obradores de iniquidad serán esparcidos. (11) Pero a mi honra Tú la has exaltado como el cuerno del uro. Soy ungido con rico óleo. (12) Mis ojos han reparado en los que me acechan. Mis oídos han escuchado el deseo de los inicuos que se levantan contra mí. (13) El justo florecerá como palmera. Crecerá como un centro en el Líbano. (14) Plantados (los justos) en la Casa del Eterno, florecerán en los atrios de nuestro Dios. (15) Producirán todavía fruto en edad avanzada. Serán vigorosos y de abundantes frutos, (16) para declarar que el Eterno es recto. Es mi roca en la que no hay injusticia.

Tehilim – Psalms – Chapter 93

1The Lord has reigned; He has attired Himself with majesty; yea the Lord has attired Himself, He has girded Himself with might. The world also is established that it cannot be moved. איְהֹוָ֣ה מָלָךְ֘ גֵּא֪וּת לָ֫בֵ֥שׁ לָבֵ֣שׁ יְ֖הֹוָה עֹ֥ז הִתְאַזָּ֑ר אַף־תִּכּ֥וֹן תֵּ֜בֵ֗ל בַּל־תִּמּֽוֹט:
2Your throne is established of old; You are from everlasting. בנָכ֣וֹן כִּסְאֲךָ֣ מֵאָ֑ז מֵ֖עוֹלָ֣ם אָֽתָּה:
3The rivers have raised, O Lord, the rivers have raised their voice; the rivers have raised their depths. גנָֽשְׂא֚וּ נְהָר֨וֹת | יְהֹוָ֗ה נָֽשְׂא֣וּ נְהָר֣וֹת קוֹלָ֑ם יִשְׂא֖וּ נְהָר֣וֹת דָּכְיָֽם:
4More than the voices of great waters and more than the mightiest breakers of the sea, is the Lord mighty on high. דמִקֹּל֨וֹת | מַ֚יִם רַבִּ֗ים אַדִּירִ֣ים מִשְׁבְּרֵי־יָ֑ם אַדִּ֖יר בַּמָּר֣וֹם יְהֹוָֽה:
5Your testimonies are very faithful to Your house, the dwelling of holiness, O Lord, to the length of days. העֵֽדֹתֶ֨יךָ | נֶֽאֶמְנ֬וּ מְאֹ֗ד לְבֵֽיתְךָ֥ נָֽאֲוָה־קֹ֑דֶשׁ יְ֜הֹוָ֗ה לְאֹ֣רֶךְ יָמִֽים:

SALMO 93

(1) El Eterno reina. Revestido es de majestad. El Eterno está vestido: Se ha ceñido de fortaleza. El mundo está establecido para que no pueda moverse. (2) Tu trono está establecido desde antiguo. Tú eres desde la eternidad. (3) Se han levantado los torrentes, oh Eterno. la crecientes han elevado su voz. Las inundaciones hacen oír su estruendo. (4) Sobre la voz de muchas aguas, las poderosas olas del mar, el Eterno desde lo alto muestra Su poder. (5) Tus testimonios son muy seguros. La santidad orna Tu casa, Oh Eterno, para siempre.

 

VERSOS BIBLICOS DONDE ES MENCIONADO EL SÁBADO.

Éxodo 20:8 Te acordarás del día de reposo (Shabbat, Sábado) para santificarlo. (9)Seis días trabajarás y harás toda tu labor, (10) pero el día séptimo, sábado, lo consagrarás al Eterno, tu Dios y ese día no harás labor alguna, ni tú, ni tu hija, ni tu siervo, ni tu sierva, ni tu animal, ni el extranjero que esté en tu casa, (11) porque es seis días hizo el Eterno los cielos, la tierra, el mar y todo lo que hay en ellos y descansó el día séptimo; por eso bendijo el día sábado y lo santificó.

Levíticos 23.3 Seis días trabajarán, pero el séptimo será sábado (Shabbat, reposos), de estricto descanso y santa convocación. No harás trabajo alguno en él. Es sábado para el Eterno, en todas tus moradas.

Deuteronomio 5:12 Guardarás el día de descanso (Shabbat, sábado) para santificarlo, como el Eterno, tu Dios te ha mandado . (13) Seis días trabajaras y en ellos harás tus obras, (14) pero el día séptimo es de descanso para el Eterno, tu Dios. En él no harás trabajo alguno, ni tampoco tu hijo, ni tu hija, ni tu siervo, ni tu sierva, ni tu ganado, ni tu asno, ni el forastero que habita dentro de tus puertas. tu siervo y tu sierva descansarán como tú. Acuérdate de que fuiste siervo en la tierra de Egipto y que el eterno tu Dios te sacó de allí con mano poderosa y brazo extendido. Por consiguiente, el Eterno tu Dios, te ordena que guardes el día de descanso.

23And you shall eat before the Lord, your God, in the place He chooses to establish His Name therein, the tithes of your grain, your wine, and your oil, and the firstborn of your cattle and of your sheep, so that you may learn to fear the Lord, your God, all the days. כגוְאָֽכַלְתָּ֞ לִפְנֵ֣י | יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֗יךָ בַּמָּק֣וֹם אֲשֶׁר־יִבְחַר֘ לְשַׁכֵּ֣ן שְׁמ֣וֹ שָׁם֒ מַעְשַׂ֤ר דְּגָֽנְךָ֙ תִּֽירשְׁךָ֣ וְיִצְהָרֶ֔ךָ וּבְכֹרֹ֥ת בְּקָֽרְךָ֖ וְצֹאנֶ֑ךָ לְמַ֣עַן תִּלְמַ֗ד לְיִרְאָ֛ה אֶת־יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ כָּל־הַיָּמִֽים:
24And if the way be too long for you, that you are unable to carry it, for the place which the Lord, your God, will choose to establish His Name therein, is too far from you, for the Lord, your God, will bless you כדוְכִֽי־יִרְבֶּ֨ה מִמְּךָ֜ הַדֶּ֗רֶךְ כִּ֣י לֹ֣א תוּכַל֘ שְׂאֵתוֹ֒ כִּֽי־יִרְחַ֤ק מִמְּךָ֙ הַמָּק֔וֹם אֲשֶׁ֤ר יִבְחַר֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ לָשׂ֥וּם שְׁמ֖וֹ שָׁ֑ם כִּ֥י יְבָֽרֶכְךָ֖ יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ:
25Then you shall turn it into money, and bind up the money in your hand, and you shall go to the place the Lord, your God, will choose. כהוְנָֽתַתָּ֖ה בַּכָּ֑סֶף וְצַרְתָּ֤ הַכֶּ֨סֶף֙ בְּיָ֣דְךָ֔ וְהָֽלַכְתָּ֙ אֶל־הַמָּק֔וֹם אֲשֶׁ֥ר יִבְחַ֛ר יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ בּֽוֹ:
26And you shall turn that money into whatever your soul desires; cattle, sheep, new wine or old wine, or whatever your soul desires, and you shall eat there before the Lord, your God, and you shall rejoice, you and your household. כווְנָֽתַתָּ֣ה הַכֶּ֡סֶף בְּכֹל֩ אֲשֶׁר־תְּאַוֶּ֨ה נַפְשְׁךָ֜ בַּבָּקָ֣ר וּבַצֹּ֗אן וּבַיַּ֨יִן֙ וּבַשֵּׁכָ֔ר וּבְכֹ֛ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר תִּשְׁאָֽלְךָ֖ נַפְשֶׁ֑ךָ וְאָכַ֣לְתָּ שָּׁ֗ם לִפְנֵי֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ וְשָֽׂמַחְתָּ֖ אַתָּ֥ה וּבֵיתֶֽךָ:
27And [as for] the Levite who is in your cities you shall not forsake him, for he has neither portion nor inheritance with you. כזוְהַלֵּוִ֥י אֲשֶׁר־בִּשְׁעָרֶ֖יךָ לֹ֣א תַֽעַזְבֶ֑נּוּ כִּ֣י אֵ֥ין ל֛וֹ חֵ֥לֶק וְנַֽחֲלָ֖ה עִמָּֽךְ:
28At the end of three years, you shall take out all the tithe of your crop in that year and place it in your cities. כחמִקְצֵ֣ה | שָׁל֣שׁ שָׁנִ֗ים תּוֹצִיא֙ אֶת־כָּל־מַעְשַׂר֙ תְּבוּאָ֣תְךָ֔ בַּשָּׁנָ֖ה הַהִ֑וא וְהִנַּחְתָּ֖ בִּשְׁעָרֶֽיךָ:
29And the Levite because he has no portion or inheritance with you and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are in your cities, will come and eat and be satisfied; so that the Lord, your God, will bless you in all the work of your hand that you will do. כטוּבָ֣א הַלֵּוִ֡י כִּ֣י אֵין־לוֹ֩ חֵ֨לֶק וְנַֽחֲלָ֜ה עִמָּ֗ךְ וְ֠הַגֵּ֠ר וְהַיָּת֤וֹם וְהָֽאַלְמָנָה֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בִּשְׁעָרֶ֔יךָ וְאָֽכְל֖וּ וְשָׂבֵ֑עוּ לְמַ֤עַן יְבָֽרֶכְךָ֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ בְּכָל־מַֽעֲשֵׂ֥ה יָֽדְךָ֖ אֲשֶׁ֥ר תַּֽעֲשֶֽׂה:

Deuteronomio 14(22) Reservarás el diezmo de todo lo que dé tu campo cada año. (23) Y comerás ante el Eterno tu Dios, en el lugar que Él escoja para establecer Su Nombre, el diezmo de tu trigo, de tu mosto y de tu aceite y los primerizos de tus vacadas y de tus rebaños para que aprendas a temer al Eterno, tu Dios todos los días. (24) y si el lugar donde el Eterno tu Dios  establece Su Nombre esté demasiado lejos para que tú puedas llevar hasta allí tus diezmos, (25) los darás por dinero, que atarás en tu mano e irás con él al lugar que escoja el Eterno tu Dios. (26) Adquirirás allí con ese dinero todo lo que desee tu alma: vacas, ovejas, vino, bebida fermentada, todo lo que apetezca tu alma y comerás allí ante el Eterno, tu Dios, alegrándote tú y tu familia. (27) No abandonarás al levita que está en tu ciudad pues no tiene parte en tu heredad. (28) Al cabo de tres años, depositarás todo el diezmo de tu producción en un lugar determinado de tu ciudad, (29) Y allí vendrá el levita, el extranjero, el huérfano y la viuda que haya en la ciudad y comerán hasta saciarse, para que el Eterno tu Dios te bendiga en todas las obras de tus manos.

15(1) Cada séptimo año harás la remisión de deudas. (2) Así harás la remisión (sh´mitá): Todo acreedor que haya prestado condonará al deudor lo prestado. No se lo exigirá más a su prójimo o a su hermano por haber sido proclamada la remisión del Eterno (año sabático). (3) Lo podrás exigir al extranjero pero no a tu hermano para quien tu mano condonará, (4) para que no haya entre vosotros menesterosos por cuanto el Eterno te bendecirá en gran manera en la tierra que Dios te da en heredad para que la poseas, (5) siempre y cuando escuches la voz del Eterno, tu Dios y cumplas escrupulosamente Sus mandatos que yo te doy en este día. (6) El Eterno, tu Dios te bendecirá, como te lo prometió y tú has de prestar a muchos pueblos pero no les pediras prestado; dominarás a muchos pueblos y ellos no te dominarán a ti. (7) Si aparece algun menesteroso entre tus hermanos dentro de tu ciudad en la tierra que te dio el Eterno tu Dios, no endurecerás tu corazón para con él, ni cerrarás tu mano ante tu hermano necesitado. (8) sino que abrirás tu mano y le prestarás lo que necesite o le falte. (9)Cuida que tu corazón no albergue intenciones malévolas que te hagan decir que se acerca el año séptimo, el año de la remisión mientras tus ojos miran mal a tu hermano pobre, incurriendo en pecado contra el Eterno. (10) De seguro, le darás (préstamo), sin que tu corazón se apene por ello ya que por esa razón el Eterno tu Dios te bendecirá en todas tus obras, en cada cosa que haga tu mano. (11) Núnca faltará pobres en la tierra, por lo cual te ordeno que abras firmemente tu mano a tu hermano y a todo menesteroso que viva en tu tierra. (12) Si compras un hombre  hebreo o una mujer hebrea, permanecerá a tu servicio durante seis años y en el séptimo, le dejarás en libertad. (13) Al librarlo, no le dejarás irse con las manos vacías (14) sino que le proveerás generosamente animales de tus rebaños, cereales de tus graneros y vino de tu lagar. Le harás así partícipe de los bienes con que el Eterno tu Dios te ha bendecido. (15) Y de ese modo, recordarás que siervo fuiste en la tierra de Egipto y que el Eterno tu Dios te liberó de allí. Por eso te ordeno hoy que hagas eso. (16) pero si tu siervo te dice: “No saldré de tu lado porque te quiero a ti y a tu casa”, confesando así que se halla bien contigo, (17) tomarás una lezna o punzón y le agujerearás la oreja contra la puerta y con esa marca, será para ti siervo para siempre. Y con tu sierva harás lo propio. (18) Pero no te apenará libarlo si lo dejas en libertad, pues te ha valido el doble de lo que te hubiera costado un asalariado al servirte seis años y además el Eterno, tu Dios te bendecirá en todo cuanto haces. (19) Todo primerizo macho que nazca de tus vacadas y de tus rebaños, lo consagrarás al Eterno tu Dios. No harás trabajo alguno con tu buey primerizo, ni esquilarás el primerizo de tu rebaño. (20) Lo comerás ante el Eterno, tu Dios cada año, con tu familia, en el lugar que escoja el Eterno. (21) Y si el animal tiene alguna tacha, vale decir, si es rengo, ciego o enfermo, no lo sacrificarás al Eterno tu Dios, (22) sino que lo comerás en tu ciudad (fuera del santuario). Podrán comerlo tanto quien es puro como quien no lo es, como si el animal fuera gacela o ciervo. (23) En todo caso, no comerás la sangre sino que la verterás sobre la tierra como agua.

Devarim – Deuteronomy – Chapter 15

1At the end of seven years you will make a release. אמִקֵּ֥ץ שֶֽׁבַע־שָׁנִ֖ים תַּֽעֲשֶׂ֥ה שְׁמִטָּֽה:
2And this is the manner of the release; to release the hand of every creditor from what he lent his friend; he shall not exact from his friend or his brother, because time of the release for the Lord has arrived. בוְזֶה֘ דְּבַ֣ר הַשְּׁמִטָּה֒ שָׁמ֗וֹט כָּל־בַּ֨עַל֙ מַשֵּׁ֣ה יָד֔וֹ אֲשֶׁ֥ר יַשֶּׁ֖ה בְּרֵעֵ֑הוּ לֹֽא־יִגֹּ֤שׂ אֶת־רֵעֵ֨הוּ֙ וְאֶת־אָחִ֔יו כִּֽי־קָרָ֥א שְׁמִטָּ֖ה לַֽיהֹוָֽה:
3From the foreigner you may exact; but what is yours with your brother, your hand shall release. גאֶת־הַנָּכְרִ֖י תִּגֹּ֑שׂ וַֽאֲשֶׁ֨ר יִֽהְיֶ֥ה לְךָ֛ אֶת־אָחִ֖יךָ תַּשְׁמֵ֥ט יָדֶֽךָ:
4However, there will be no needy among you, for the Lord will surely bless you in the land the Lord, your God, is giving you for an inheritance to possess. דאֶ֕פֶס כִּ֛י לֹ֥א יִֽהְיֶה־בְּךָ֖ אֶבְי֑וֹן כִּֽי־בָרֵ֤ךְ יְבָֽרֶכְךָ֙ יְהֹוָ֔ה בָּאָ֕רֶץ אֲשֶׁר֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ נֹתֵֽן־לְךָ֥ נַֽחֲלָ֖ה לְרִשְׁתָּֽהּ:
5However, if you hearken to the voice of the Lord, your God, to be careful to do all this commandment, which I am commanding you today. הרַ֚ק אִם־שָׁמ֣וֹעַ תִּשְׁמַ֔ע בְּק֖וֹל יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ לִשְׁמֹ֤ר לַֽעֲשׂוֹת֙ אֶת־כָּל־הַמִּצְוָ֣ה הַזֹּ֔את אֲשֶׁ֛ר אָֽנֹכִ֥י מְצַוְּךָ֖ הַיּֽוֹם:
6For the Lord, your God, has blessed you, as He spoke to you, and you will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow; and you will rule over many nations, but they will not rule over you. וכִּֽי־יְהֹוָ֤ה אֱלֹהֶ֨יךָ֙ בֵּֽרַכְךָ֔ כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֖ר דִּבֶּר־לָ֑ךְ וְהַֽעֲבַטְתָּ֞ גּוֹיִ֣ם רַבִּ֗ים וְאַתָּה֙ לֹ֣א תַֽעֲבֹ֔ט וּמָֽשַׁלְתָּ֙ בְּגוֹיִ֣ם רַבִּ֔ים וּבְךָ֖ לֹ֥א יִמְשֹֽׁלוּ:
7If there will be among you a needy person, from one of your brothers in one of your cities, in your land the Lord, your God, is giving you, you shall not harden your heart, and you shall not close your hand from your needy brother. זכִּי־יִֽהְיֶה֩ בְךָ֨ אֶבְי֜וֹן מֵֽאַחַ֤ד אַחֶ֨יךָ֙ בְּאַחַ֣ד שְׁעָרֶ֔יךָ בְּאַ֨רְצְךָ֔ אֲשֶׁר־יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ נֹתֵ֣ן לָ֑ךְ לֹ֧א תְאַמֵּ֣ץ אֶת־לְבָֽבְךָ֗ וְלֹ֤א תִקְפֹּץ֙ אֶת־יָ֣דְךָ֔ מֵֽאָחִ֖יךָ הָֽאֶבְיֽוֹן:
8Rather, you shall open your hand to him, and you shall lend him sufficient for his needs, which he is lacking. חכִּֽי־פָתֹ֧חַ תִּפְתַּ֛ח אֶת־יָֽדְךָ֖ ל֑וֹ וְהַֽעֲבֵט֙ תַּֽעֲבִיטֶ֔נּוּ דֵּ֚י מַחְסֹר֔וֹ אֲשֶׁ֥ר יֶחְסַ֖ר לֽוֹ:
9Beware, lest there be in your heart an unfaithful thought, saying, “The seventh year, the year of release has approached,” and you will begrudge your needy brother and not give him, and he will cry out to the Lord against you, and it will be a sin to you. טהִשָּׁ֣מֶר לְךָ֡ פֶּן־יִֽהְיֶ֣ה דָבָר֩ עִם־לְבָבְךָ֨ בְלִיַּ֜עַל לֵאמֹ֗ר קָֽרְבָ֣ה שְׁנַת־הַשֶּׁ֘בַע֘ שְׁנַ֣ת הַשְּׁמִטָּה֒ וְרָעָ֣ה עֵֽינְךָ֗ בְּאָחִ֨יךָ֙ הָֽאֶבְי֔וֹן וְלֹ֥א תִתֵּ֖ן ל֑וֹ וְקָרָ֤א עָלֶ֨יךָ֙ אֶל־יְהֹוָ֔ה וְהָיָ֥ה בְךָ֖ חֵֽטְא:
10You shall surely give him, and your heart shall not be grieved when you give to him; for because of this thing the Lord, your God, will bless you in all your work and in all your endeavors. ינָת֤וֹן תִּתֵּן֙ ל֔וֹ וְלֹֽא־יֵרַ֥ע לְבָֽבְךָ֖ בְּתִתְּךָ֣ ל֑וֹ כִּ֞י בִּגְלַ֣ל | הַדָּבָ֣ר הַזֶּ֗ה יְבָֽרֶכְךָ֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ בְּכָל־מַֽעֲשֶׂ֔ךָ וּבְכֹ֖ל מִשְׁלַ֥ח יָדֶֽךָ:
11For there will never cease to be needy within the land. Therefore, I command you, saying, you shall surely open your hand to your brother, to your poor one, and to your needy one in your land. יאכִּ֛י לֹֽא־יֶחְדַּ֥ל אֶבְי֖וֹן מִקֶּ֣רֶב הָאָ֑רֶץ עַל־כֵּ֞ן אָֽנֹכִ֤י מְצַוְּךָ֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר פָּ֠תֹ֠חַ תִּפְתַּ֨ח אֶת־יָֽדְךָ֜ לְאָחִ֧יךָ לַּֽעֲנִיֶּ֛ךָ וּלְאֶבְיֹֽנְךָ֖ בְּאַרְצֶֽךָ:
12If your brother, a Hebrew man or a Hebrew woman, is sold to you, he shall serve you for six years, and in the seventh year you shall send him forth free from you. יבכִּֽי־יִמָּכֵ֨ר לְךָ֜ אָחִ֣יךָ הָֽעִבְרִ֗י א֚וֹ הָֽעִבְרִיָּ֔ה וַֽעֲבָֽדְךָ֖ שֵׁ֣שׁ שָׁנִ֑ים וּבַשָּׁנָה֙ הַשְּׁבִיעִ֔ת תְּשַׁלְּחֶ֥נּוּ חָפְשִׁ֖י מֵֽעִמָּֽךְ:
13And when you send him forth free from you, you shall not send him forth empty-handed. יגוְכִֽי־תְשַׁלְּחֶ֥נּוּ חָפְשִׁ֖י מֵֽעִמָּ֑ךְ לֹ֥א תְשַׁלְּחֶ֖נּוּ רֵיקָֽם:
14You shall surely provide him from your flock, from your threshing floor, and from your vat, you shall give him from what the Lord, your God, has blessed you ידהַֽעֲנֵ֤יק תַּֽעֲנִיק֙ ל֔וֹ מִצֹּ֣אנְךָ֔ וּמִגָּרְנְךָ֖ וּמִיִּקְבֶ֑ךָ אֲשֶׁ֧ר בֵּֽרַכְךָ֛ יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ תִּתֶּן־לֽוֹ:
15And you shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord, your God, redeemed you; therefore, I am commanding you this thing today. טווְזָֽכַרְתָּ֗ כִּ֣י עֶ֤בֶד הָיִ֨יתָ֙ בְּאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֔יִם וַיִּפְדְּךָ֖ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ עַל־כֵּ֞ן אָֽנֹכִ֧י מְצַוְּךָ֛ אֶת־הַדָּבָ֥ר הַזֶּ֖ה הַיּֽוֹם:
16And it will be, if he says to you, “I will not leave you,” because he loves you and your household, for it is good for him with you, טזוְהָיָה֙ כִּֽי־יֹאמַ֣ר אֵלֶ֔יךָ לֹ֥א אֵצֵ֖א מֵֽעִמָּ֑ךְ כִּ֤י אֲהֵֽבְךָ֙ וְאֶת־בֵּיתֶ֔ךָ כִּי־ט֥וֹב ל֖וֹ עִמָּֽךְ:
17Then you shall take an awl and put it through his ear and into the door, and he shall be a servant to you forever; and also to your maidservant you shall do likewise. יזוְלָֽקַחְתָּ֣ אֶת־הַמַּרְצֵ֗עַ וְנָֽתַתָּ֤ה בְאָזְנוֹ֙ וּבַדֶּ֔לֶת וְהָיָ֥ה לְךָ֖ עֶ֣בֶד עוֹלָ֑ם וְאַ֥ף לַֽאֲמָֽתְךָ֖ תַּֽעֲשֶׂה־כֵּֽן:
18You shall not be troubled when you send him free from you, for twice as much as a hired servant, he has served you six years, and the Lord, your God, will bless you in all that you shall do. יחלֹֽא־יִקְשֶׁ֣ה בְעֵינֶ֗ךָ בְּשַׁלֵּֽחֲךָ֙ אֹת֤וֹ חָפְשִׁי֙ מֵֽעִמָּ֔ךְ כִּ֗י מִשְׁנֶה֙ שְׂכַ֣ר שָׂכִ֔יר עֲבָֽדְךָ֖ שֵׁ֣שׁ שָׁנִ֑ים וּבֵֽרַכְךָ֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ בְּכֹ֖ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר תַּֽעֲשֶֽׂה:
19Every firstborn male that is born of your cattle or of your flock you shall sanctify to the Lord, your God. You shall neither work with the firstborn of your ox, nor shear the firstborn of your flock. יטכָּל־הַבְּכ֡וֹר אֲשֶׁר֩ יִוָּלֵ֨ד בִּבְקָֽרְךָ֤ וּבְצֹֽאנְךָ֙ הַזָּכָ֔ר תַּקְדִּ֖ישׁ לַֽיהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ לֹ֤א תַֽעֲבֹד֙ בִּבְכֹ֣ר שׁוֹרֶ֔ךָ וְלֹ֥א תָגֹ֖ז בְּכ֥וֹר צֹאנֶֽךָ:
20You shall eat it before the Lord, your God, year by year, in the place the Lord chooses-you and your household. כלִפְנֵי֩ יְהֹוָ֨ה אֱלֹהֶ֤יךָ תֹֽאכְלֶ֨נּוּ֙ שָׁנָ֣ה בְשָׁנָ֔ה בַּמָּק֖וֹם אֲשֶׁר־יִבְחַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֑ה אַתָּ֖ה וּבֵיתֶֽךָ:
21And if there be any blemish in it, whether it be lame, or blind, or any ill blemish, you shall not sacrifice it to the Lord, your God. כאוְכִי־יִֽהְיֶ֨ה ב֜וֹ מ֗וּם פִּסֵּ֨חַ֙ א֣וֹ עִוֵּ֔ר כֹּ֖ל מ֣וּם רָ֑ע לֹ֣א תִזְבָּחֶ֔נּוּ לַֽיהֹוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ:
22You shall eat it within your cities, the unclean and the clean together, as the deer, and as the gazelle. כבבִּשְׁעָרֶ֖יךָ תֹּֽאכְלֶ֑נּוּ הַטָּמֵ֤א וְהַטָּהוֹר֙ יַחְדָּ֔ו כַּצְּבִ֖י וְכָֽאַיָּֽל:
23However, you shall not eat its blood; you shall pour it on the ground, as water. כגרַ֥ק אֶת־דָּמ֖וֹ לֹ֣א תֹאכֵ֑ל עַל־הָאָ֥רֶץ תִּשְׁפְּכֶ֖נּוּ כַּמָּֽיִם:

Devarim – Deuteronomy – Chapter 16

1Keep the month of spring, and make the Passover offering to the Lord, your God, for in the month of spring, the Lord, your God, brought you out of Egypt at night. אשָׁמוֹר֙ אֶת־חֹ֣דֶשׁ הָֽאָבִ֔יב וְעָשִׂ֣יתָ פֶּ֔סַח לַֽיהֹוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ כִּ֞י בְּחֹ֣דֶשׁ הָֽאָבִ֗יב הוֹצִ֨יאֲךָ֜ יְהֹוָ֧ה אֱלֹהֶ֛יךָ מִמִּצְרַ֖יִם לָֽיְלָה:
2You shall slaughter the Passover sacrifice to the Lord, your God, [of the] flock, and [the Festival sacrifices of the] cattle, in the place which the Lord will choose to establish His Name therein. בוְזָבַ֥חְתָּ פֶּ֛סַח לַֽיהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ צֹ֣אן וּבָקָ֑ר בַּמָּקוֹם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יִבְחַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֔ה לְשַׁכֵּ֥ן שְׁמ֖וֹ שָֽׁם:
3You shall not eat leaven with it; for seven days you shall eat with it matzoth, the bread of affliction, for in haste you went out of the land of Egypt, so that you shall remember the day when you went out of the land of Egypt all the days of your life. גלֹֽא־תֹאכַ֤ל עָלָיו֙ חָמֵ֔ץ שִׁבְעַ֥ת יָמִ֛ים תֹּֽאכַל־עָלָ֥יו מַצּ֖וֹת לֶ֣חֶם עֹ֑נִי כִּ֣י בְחִפָּז֗וֹן יָצָ֨אתָ֙ מֵאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֔יִם לְמַ֣עַן תִּזְכֹּ֗ר אֶת־י֤וֹם צֵֽאתְךָ֙ מֵאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֔יִם כֹּ֖ל יְמֵ֥י חַיֶּֽיךָ:
4And no leaven shall be seen with you within all your border for seven days; neither shall any of the flesh you slaughter on the preceding day in the afternoon, remain all night until the morning. דוְלֹא־יֵֽרָאֶ֨ה לְךָ֥ שְׂאֹ֛ר בְּכָל־גְּבֻֽלְךָ֖ שִׁבְעַ֣ת יָמִ֑ים וְלֹֽא־יָלִ֣ין מִן־הַבָּשָׂ֗ר אֲשֶׁ֨ר תִּזְבַּ֥ח בָּעֶ֛רֶב בַּיּ֥וֹם הָֽרִאשׁ֖וֹן לַבֹּֽקֶר:
5You shall not sacrifice the Passover offering within any of your cities, which the Lord, your God, is giving you. הלֹ֥א תוּכַ֖ל לִזְבֹּ֣חַ אֶת־הַפָּ֑סַח בְּאַחַ֣ד שְׁעָרֶ֔יךָ אֲשֶׁר־יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ נֹתֵ֥ן לָֽךְ:
6Except at the place which the Lord, your God, will choose to establish His Name-there you shall slaughter the Passover offering in the afternoon, as the sun sets, at the appointed time that you went out of Egypt. וכִּי אִם־אֶל־הַמָּק֞וֹם אֲשֶׁר־יִבְחַ֨ר יְהֹוָ֤ה אֱלֹהֶ֨יךָ֙ לְשַׁכֵּ֣ן שְׁמ֔וֹ שָׁ֛ם תִּזְבַּ֥ח אֶת־הַפֶּ֖סַח בָּעָ֑רֶב כְּב֣וֹא הַשֶּׁ֔מֶשׁ מוֹעֵ֖ד צֵֽאתְךָ֥ מִמִּצְרָֽיִם:
7And you shall roast [it] and eat [it] in the place which the Lord, your God, will choose, and you shall turn away in the morning and go to your dwellings. זוּבִשַּׁלְתָּ֙ וְאָ֣כַלְתָּ֔ בַּמָּק֕וֹם אֲשֶׁ֥ר יִבְחַ֛ר יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ בּ֑וֹ וּפָנִ֣יתָ בַבֹּ֔קֶר וְהָֽלַכְתָּ֖ לְאֹֽהָלֶֽיךָ:
8For six days you shall eat matzoth, and on the seventh day there shall be a halt to the Lord, your God. You shall not do any work [on it]. חשֵׁ֥שֶׁת יָמִ֖ים תֹּאכַ֣ל מַצּ֑וֹת וּבַיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֗י עֲצֶ֨רֶת֙ לַֽיהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ לֹ֥א תַֽעֲשֶׂ֖ה מְלָאכָֽה:
9You shall count seven weeks for yourself; from[the time] the sickle is first put to the standing crop, you shall begin to count seven weeks. טשִׁבְעָ֥ה שָֽׁבֻעֹ֖ת תִּסְפָּר־לָ֑ךְ מֵֽהָחֵ֤ל חֶרְמֵשׁ֙ בַּקָּמָ֔ה תָּחֵ֣ל לִסְפֹּ֔ר שִׁבְעָ֖ה שָֽׁבֻעֽוֹת:
10And you shall perform the Festival of Weeks to the Lord, your God, the donation you can afford to give, according to how the Lord, your God, shall bless you. יוְעָשִׂ֜יתָ חַ֤ג שָֽׁבֻעוֹת֙ לַֽיהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ מִסַּ֛ת נִדְבַ֥ת יָֽדְךָ֖ אֲשֶׁ֣ר תִּתֵּ֑ן כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר יְבָֽרֶכְךָ֖ יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ:
11And you shall rejoice before the Lord, your God, -you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite who is within your cities, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are among you, in the place which the Lord, your God, will choose to establish His Name therein. יאוְשָֽׂמַחְתָּ֞ לִפְנֵ֣י | יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֗יךָ אַתָּ֨ה וּבִנְךָ֣ וּבִתֶּ֘ךָ֘ וְעַבְדְּךָ֣ וַֽאֲמָתֶ֒ךָ֒ וְהַלֵּוִי֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בִּשְׁעָרֶ֔יךָ וְהַגֵּ֛ר וְהַיָּת֥וֹם וְהָֽאַלְמָנָ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר בְּקִרְבֶּ֑ךָ בַּמָּק֗וֹם אֲשֶׁ֤ר יִבְחַר֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ לְשַׁכֵּ֥ן שְׁמ֖וֹ שָֽׁם:
12And you shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt, and you shall keep and perform these statutes. יבוְזָ֣כַרְתָּ֔ כִּי־עֶ֥בֶד הָיִ֖יתָ בְּמִצְרָ֑יִם וְשָֽׁמַרְתָּ֣ וְעָשִׂ֔יתָ אֶת־הַֽחֻקִּ֖ים הָאֵֽלֶּה:
13You shall make yourself the Festival of Sukkoth for seven days, when you gather in [the produce] from your threshing floor and your vat. יגחַ֧ג הַסֻּכֹּ֛ת תַּֽעֲשֶׂ֥ה לְךָ֖ שִׁבְעַ֣ת יָמִ֑ים בְּאָ֨סְפְּךָ֔ מִגָּרְנְךָ֖ וּמִיִּקְבֶֽךָ:
14And you shall rejoice in your Festival-you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are within your cities. ידוְשָֽׂמַחְתָּ֖ בְּחַגֶּ֑ךָ אַתָּ֨ה וּבִנְךָ֤ וּבִתֶּ֨ךָ֙ וְעַבְדְּךָ֣ וַֽאֲמָתֶ֔ךָ וְהַלֵּוִ֗י וְהַגֵּ֛ר וְהַיָּת֥וֹם וְהָֽאַלְמָנָ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר בִּשְׁעָרֶֽיךָ:
15Seven days you shall celebrate the Festival to the Lord, your God, in the place which the Lord shall choose, because the Lord, your God, will bless you in all your produce, and in all the work of your hands, and you will only be happy. טושִׁבְעַ֣ת יָמִ֗ים תָּחֹג֙ לַֽיהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ בַּמָּק֖וֹם אֲשֶׁר־יִבְחַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֑ה כִּ֣י יְבָֽרֶכְךָ֞ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֗יךָ בְּכֹ֤ל תְּבוּאָֽתְךָ֙ וּבְכֹל֙ מַֽעֲשֵׂ֣ה יָדֶ֔יךָ וְהָיִ֖יתָ אַ֥ךְ שָׂמֵֽחַ:
16Three times in the year, every one of your males shall appear before the Lord, your God, in the place He will choose: on the Festival of Matzoth and on the Festival of Weeks, and on the Festival of Sukkoth, and he shall not appear before the Lord empty-handed. טזשָׁל֣וֹשׁ פְּעָמִ֣ים | בַּשָּׁנָ֡ה יֵֽרָאֶה֩ כָל־זְכ֨וּרְךָ֜ אֶת־פְּנֵ֣י | יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֗יךָ בַּמָּקוֹם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יִבְחָ֔ר בְּחַ֧ג הַמַּצּ֛וֹת וּבְחַ֥ג הַשָּֽׁבֻע֖וֹת וּבְחַ֣ג הַסֻּכּ֑וֹת וְלֹ֧א יֵֽרָאֶ֛ה אֶת־פְּנֵ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה רֵיקָֽם:
17[Every] man [shall bring] as much as he can afford, according to the blessing of the Lord, your God, which He has given you. יזאִ֖ישׁ כְּמַתְּנַ֣ת יָד֑וֹ כְּבִרְכַּ֛ת יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ אֲשֶׁ֥ר נָֽתַן־לָֽךְ:

Shemini Atzeret: Numbers 29:35 – 30:1

35The eighth day shall be a time of restriction for you; you shall not perform any mundane work. להבַּיּוֹם֙ הַשְּׁמִינִ֔י עֲצֶ֖רֶת תִּֽהְיֶ֣ה לָכֶ֑ם כָּל־מְלֶ֥אכֶת עֲבֹדָ֖ה לֹ֥א תַֽעֲשֽׂוּ:
36You shall offer up a burnt offering, a fire offering for a spirit of satisfaction to the Lord: one bull, one ram, and seven lambs in the first year, [all] unblemished. לווְהִקְרַבְתֶּ֨ם עֹלָ֜ה אִשֵּׁ֨ה רֵ֤יחַ נִיחֹ֨חַ֙ לַֽיהֹוָ֔ה פַּ֥ר אֶחָ֖ד אַ֣יִל אֶחָ֑ד כְּבָשִׂ֧ים בְּנֵֽי־שָׁנָ֛ה שִׁבְעָ֖ה תְּמִימִֽם:
37Their meal offerings and their libations, for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, according to their number, as prescribed. לזמִנְחָתָ֣ם וְנִסְכֵּיהֶ֗ם לַפָּ֨ר לָאַ֧יִל וְלַכְּבָשִׂ֛ים בְּמִסְפָּרָ֖ם כַּמִּשְׁפָּֽט:
38And one young male goat for a sin offering, besides the continual burnt offering, its meal offering and its libation. לחוּשְׂעִ֥יר חַטָּ֖את אֶחָ֑ד מִלְּבַד֙ עֹלַ֣ת הַתָּמִ֔יד וּמִנְחָתָ֖הּ וְנִסְכָּֽהּ:
39These you shall offer up for the Lord on your festivals, besides your vows and voluntary offerings, for your burnt offerings, for your meal offerings, for your libations, and for your peace offerings. לטאֵ֛לֶּה תַּֽעֲשׂ֥וּ לַֽיהֹוָ֖ה בְּמֽוֹעֲדֵיכֶ֑ם לְבַ֨ד מִנִּדְרֵיכֶ֜ם וְנִדְבֹֽתֵיכֶ֗ם לְעֹלֹֽתֵיכֶם֙ וּלְמִנְחֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם וּלְנִסְכֵּיכֶ֖ם וּלְשַׁלְמֵיכֶֽם:

1Moses spoke to the children of Israel in accordance with all that the Lord had commanded Moses. אוַיֹּ֥אמֶר משֶׁ֖ה אֶל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל כְּכֹ֛ל אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּ֥ה יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶת־משֶֽׁה:

Shemini Atzeret: Kings I 8:54-66

4And it was, as Solomon finished praying all this prayer and supplication to the Lord, that he arose from before the altar of the Lord, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread out toward heaven. נדוַיְהִ֣י | כְּכַלּ֣וֹת שְׁלֹמֹ֗ה לְהִתְפַּלֵּל֙ אֶל־יְהֹוָ֔ה אֵ֛ת כָּל־הַתְּפִלָּ֥ה וְהַתְּחִנָּ֖ה הַזֹּ֑את קָ֞ם מִלִּפְנֵ֨י מִזְבַּ֚ח יְהֹוָה֙ מִכְּרֹ֣עַ עַל־בִּרְכָּ֔יו וְכַפָּ֖יו פְּרֻשֹ֥וֹת הַשָּׁמָֽיִם:
55And he stood, and blessed the entire congregation of Israel (with) a loud voice, saying, נהוַֽיַּעֲמֹ֕ד וַיְבָ֕רֶךְ אֵ֖ת כָּל־קְהַ֣ל יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל ק֥וֹל גָּד֖וֹל לֵאמֹֽר:
56“Blessed (be) the Lord, Who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He spoke; there has not failed one word of all his good word, that He spoke through Moses His servant. נובָּר֣וּךְ יְהֹוָ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר נָתַ֚ן מְנוּחָה֙ לְעַמּ֣וֹ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל כְּכֹ֖ל אֲשֶׁ֣ר דִּבֵּ֑ר לֹֽא־נָפַ֞ל דָּבָ֣ר אֶחָ֗ד מִכֹּל֙ דְּבָר֣וֹ הַטּ֔וֹב אֲשֶׁ֣ר דִּבֶּ֔ר בְּיַ֖ד משֶׁ֥ה עַבְדּֽוֹ:
57May the Lord our God be with us, as He was with our forefathers; let Him not leave us, nor forsake us. נזיְהִ֨י יְהֹוָ֚ה אֱלֹהֵ֙ינוּ֙ עִמָּ֔נוּ כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר הָיָ֖ה עִם־אֲבֹתֵ֑ינוּ אַל־יַעַזְבֵ֖נוּ וְאַֽל־יִטְּשֵֽׁנוּ:
58That He may incline our hearts to Him, to go in all His ways, and to keep His commandments, and His statutes, and His judgments, which He commanded our forefathers. נחלְהַטּ֥וֹת לְבָבֵ֖נוּ אֵלָ֑יו לָלֶ֣כֶת בְּכָל־דְּרָכָ֗יו וְלִשְׁמֹ֨ר מִצְו‍ֹתָ֚יו וְחֻקָּיו֙ וּמִשְׁפָּטָ֔יו אֲשֶׁ֥ר צִוָּ֖ה אֶת־אֲבֹתֵֽינוּ:
59And may these words of mine, with which I have made supplication before the Lord, be close to the Lord our God, day and night, that He sustain the cause of His servant and the cause of His people Israel, each day’s need granted on its day. נטוְיִֽהְי֨וּ דְבָרַ֜י אֵ֗לֶּה אֲשֶׁ֚ר הִתְחַנַּ֙נְתִּי֙ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֔ה קְרֹבִ֛ים אֶל־יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ יוֹמָ֣ם וָלָ֑יְלָה לַעֲשֹ֣וֹת | מִשְׁפַּ֣ט עַבְדּ֗וֹ וּמִשְׁפַּ֛ט עַמּ֥וֹ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל דְּבַר־י֥וֹם בְּיוֹמֽוֹ:
60So that all the peoples of the earth may know that the Lord is God: there is none else. סלְמַ֗עַן דַּעַת כָּל־עַמֵּ֣י הָאָ֔רֶץ כִּ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה ה֣וּא הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים אֵ֖ין עֽוֹד:
61Let your heart, [therefore], be whole with the Lord our God, to follow His statutes and to keep His precepts as of this day. סאוְהָיָ֚ה לְבַבְכֶם֙ שָׁלֵ֔ם עִ֖ם יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ לָלֶ֧כֶת בְּחֻקָּ֛יו וְלִשְׁמֹ֥ר מִצְו‍ֹתָ֖יו כַּיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה:
62And the King and all Israel with him slaughtered sacrifices before the Lord. סבוְֽהַמֶּ֔לֶךְ וְכָל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל עִמּ֑וֹ זֹבְחִ֥ים זֶ֖בַח לִפְנֵ֥י יְהֹוָֽה:
63And Solomon slaughtered the peace- offerings that he slaughtered to the Lord, twenty-two thousand oxen, and one hundred and twenty thousand sheep. [With this] the King and all the children of Israel inaugurated the Temple of the Lord. סגוַיִּזְבַּ֣ח שְׁלֹמֹ֗ה אֵ֣ת זֶ֣בַח הַשְּׁלָמִים֘ אֲשֶׁ֣ר זָבַ֣ח לַיהֹוָה֒ בָּקָ֗ר עֶשְׂרִ֚ים וּשְׁנַ֙יִם֙ אֶ֔לֶף וְצֹ֕אן מֵאָ֥ה וְעֶשְׂרִ֖ים אָֽלֶף וַֽיַּחְנְכוּ֙ אֶת־בֵּ֣ית יְהֹוָ֔ה הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ וְכָל־בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל:
64On that day the King consecrated the middle of the court that was before the Temple of the Lord, for there he offered the burnt-offerings (and) the meal-offerings and the fat of the peace-offerings, for the copper altar that was before the Lord was too small to contain the burnt-offerings (and) the meal- offerings and the fat of the peace-offerings. סדבַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא קִדַּ֨שׁ הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ אֶת־תּ֣וֹךְ הֶחָצֵ֗ר אֲשֶׁר֙ לִפְנֵ֣י בֵית־יְהֹוָ֔ה כִּי־עָ֣שָׂה שָׁ֗ם אֶת־הָֽעֹלָה֙ וְאֶת־הַמִּנְחָ֔ה וְאֵ֖ת חֶלְבֵ֣י הַשְּׁלָמִ֑ים כִּֽי־מִזְבַּ֚ח הַנְּח֙שֶׁת֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר לִפְנֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֔ה קָטֹ֗ן מֵֽהָכִיל֙ אֶת־הָעֹלָ֣ה וְאֶת־הַמִּנְחָ֔ה וְאֵ֖ת חֶלְבֵ֥י הַשְּׁלָמִֽים:
65Now Solomon observed the Feast at that time and all Israel with him, a great assemblage from the entrance of Hamath to the brook of Egypt, before the Lord our God, seven days and seven days, [totalling] fourteen days. סהוַיַּ֣עַשׂ שְׁלֹמֹ֣ה בָֽעֵת־הַהִ֣יא | אֶת־הֶחָ֡ג וְכָל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל עִמּוֹ֩ קָהָ֨ל גָּד֜וֹל מִלְּב֥וֹא חֲמָ֣ת | עַד־נַ֣חַל מִצְרַ֗יִם לִפְנֵי֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵ֔ינוּ שִׁבְעַ֥ת יָמִ֖ים וְשִׁבְעַ֣ת יָמִ֑ים אַרְבָּעָ֥ה עָשָֹ֖ר יֽוֹם:
66On the eighth day he dismissed the people, and they blessed the King and went to their homes, rejoicing and delighted of heart for all the goodness that the Lord had wrought for David His servant and for Israel His people. סובַּיּ֚וֹם הַשְּׁמִינִי֙ שִׁלַּ֣ח אֶת־הָעָ֔ם וַֽיְבָרֲכ֖וּ אֶת־הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ וַיֵּלְכ֣וּ לְאָהֳלֵיהֶ֗ם שְׂמֵחִים֙ וְט֣וֹבֵי לֵ֔ב עַ֣ל כָּל־הַטּוֹבָ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר עָשָֹ֚ה יְהֹוָה֙ לְדָוִ֣ד עַבְדּ֔וֹ וּלְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל עַמּֽוֹ:

60So that all the peoples of the earth may know that the Lord is God: there is none else. סלְמַ֗עַן דַּעַת כָּל־עַמֵּ֣י הָאָ֔רֶץ כִּ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה ה֣וּא הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים אֵ֖ין עֽוֹד:
61Let your heart, [therefore], be whole with the Lord our God, to follow His statutes and to keep His precepts as of this day. סאוְהָיָ֚ה לְבַבְכֶם֙ שָׁלֵ֔ם עִ֖ם יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ לָלֶ֧כֶת בְּחֻקָּ֛יו וְלִשְׁמֹ֥ר מִצְו‍ֹתָ֖יו כַּיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה:

63And Solomon slaughtered the peace- offerings that he slaughtered to the Lord, twenty-two thousand oxen, and one hundred and twenty thousand sheep. Lubavitcher Rebbe Suffers Heart Attack (1977)

While celebrating the joyous holiday hakafot with thousands of chassidim in the central Chabad-Lubavitch synagogue in Brooklyn, NY, the Rebbe suffered a massive heart attack. In spite of the tremendous pain, the Rebbe remained calm and insisted on continuing the hakafot, and only after they concluded did he depart the synagogue.

Lubavitcher Rebe sufre un ataque al corazón (1977)
Mientras celebraba el alegre día festivo de hakafot con miles de jasidim en la sinagoga central de Jabad-Lubavitch en Brooklyn, Nueva York, el Rebe sufrió un infarto. A pesar del tremendo dolor, el Rebe permaneció calmado e insistió en continuar con el hakafot, y solo después de que concluyeron abandonó la sinagoga.

Al día siguiente, el Rebe solicitó que los jasidim celebraran las festividades de Simjat Torá con la misma alegría y fervor que todos los demás años, y así fue.

Hakafot
Es práctica de muchas comunidades, y tal es la costumbre de Jabad, conducir “hakafot” y bailar con los rollos de la Torá también en la víspera de Sheminí Atzeret. 

Lluvia de oración

En la oración de musaf de hoy, comenzamos a insertar la frase mashiv haruach umorid hageshem (“que hace soplar el viento y hace caer la lluvia”) en nuestras oraciones diarias (como continuaremos haciendo durante el invierno, hasta el 1er día de la Pascua judía) ) En musaf se agregan himnos especiales sobre lluvia y agua en honor a la ocasión.

Bailando con los pies
En Simjat Torá bailamos con nuestros pies, no con nuestras cabezas.

Estamos celebrando la Torá, y la Torá es algo que estudiamos con nuestras cabezas. Pero bailamos con nuestros pies, no con nuestras cabezas.

Si bailábamos con la cabeza, cada uno bailaría un baile diferente, cada uno en un espacio diferente, algunos con amigos , otros como almas solitarias.

Una cabeza es más alta, una es más baja, una está aquí en la tierra, la otra en las nubes o más allá, y algunas mentes conocen solo su propio espacio que nadie más puede saber.

Pero bailamos con nuestros pies, y todos nuestros pies están aquí en la misma tierra, ninguno más alto y ninguno más bajo. Así que ahora todos podemos bailar como uno, con un corazón, como un solo ser.

Ahora no hay soledad, solo alegría.
