(20) Y erigió allí un altar y lo llamó Dios es el Dios de Israel ( El-Elohé-Israel)

Génesis 35

(10) Y le dijo Dios: “Tu nombre es Jacob pero ya no serás más Jacob; Israel será tu nombre” y le puso por nombre Israel.

(11) Y dijo Dios: “Yo soy Todopoderoso. Sé fecundo y multiplícate. Haré de ti una asamblea de pueblos y de tus lomos saldrán reyes.

(12) Y la tierra que le di a Abraham e Isaac, te la daré a ti y a tu simiente despues de ti.

(13) Y Dios subió del lugar de donde le había hablado.

(14) Y Jacob erigó un pilar en el lugar donde Él había hablado; derramo sobre ella una libación y vertió aceite sobre el pilar.

(15) Y Jacob llamó al lugar donde Dios había hablado  Bet-El.

Génesis 32 (10.13)

(10) Y Jacob rezó: “Oh Dios de mis padres Abraham y de mi padre Isaac, oh Eterno, que me dijiste que tornaría a mi tierra y a mi familia porque serías conmigo,

(11) indigno soy de todas las benevolencias y de la lealtad que demostraste para con tu siervo, pues con mi báculo pase el Jordán y ahora me repartí en dos campamentos.

(12) Sálvame ahora de manos de mi hermano Esaú, pues temo que venga e hiera a la madre junto con los hijos.

(13) Tú prometiste que me favorecerías y pondrías a mi simiente como la arena del mar, que no puede ser contada por lo numeosa que es”.

10 And Jacob said, “O God of my father Abraham and God of my father Isaac, the Lord, Who said to me, ‘Return to your land and to your birthplace, and I will do good to you.’ יוַיֹּ֘אמֶר֘ יַֽעֲקֹב֒ אֱלֹהֵי֙ אָבִ֣י אַבְרָהָ֔ם וֵֽאלֹהֵ֖י אָבִ֣י יִצְחָ֑ק יְהֹוָ֞ה הָֽאֹמֵ֣ר אֵלַ֗י שׁ֧וּב לְאַרְצְךָ֛ וּלְמֽוֹלַדְתְּךָ֖ וְאֵיטִ֥יבָה עִמָּֽךְ:
11 I have become small from all the kindnesses and from all the truth that You have rendered Your servant, for with my staff I crossed this Jordan, and now I have become two camps. יאקָטֹ֜נְתִּי מִכֹּ֤ל הַֽחֲסָדִים֙ וּמִכָּל־הָ֣אֱמֶ֔ת אֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשִׂ֖יתָ אֶת־עַבְדֶּ֑ךָ כִּ֣י בְמַקְלִ֗י עָבַ֨רְתִּי֙ אֶת־הַיַּרְדֵּ֣ן הַזֶּ֔ה וְעַתָּ֥ה הָיִ֖יתִי לִשְׁנֵ֥י מַֽחֲנֽוֹת:
12 Now deliver me from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau, for I am afraid of him, lest he come and strike me, [and strike] a mother with children. יבהַצִּילֵ֥נִי נָ֛א מִיַּ֥ד אָחִ֖י מִיַּ֣ד עֵשָׂ֑ו כִּֽי־יָרֵ֤א אָֽנֹכִי֙ אֹת֔וֹ פֶּן־יָב֣וֹא וְהִכַּ֔נִי אֵ֖ם עַל־בָּנִֽים:
13 And You said, ‘I will surely do good with you, and I will make your seed [as numerous] as the sand of the sea, which cannot be counted because of multitude.'” יגוְאַתָּ֣ה אָמַ֔רְתָּ הֵיטֵ֥ב אֵיטִ֖יב עִמָּ֑ךְ וְשַׂמְתִּ֤י אֶת־זַרְעֲךָ֙ כְּח֣וֹל הַיָּ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹֽא־יִסָּפֵ֖ר מֵרֹֽב:
