| 5 And you shall call out and say before the Lord, your God, “An Aramean [sought to] destroy my forefather, and he went down to Egypt and sojourned there with a small number of people, and there, he became a great, mighty, and numerous nation. | הוְעָנִ֨יתָ וְאָֽמַרְתָּ֜ לִפְנֵ֣י | יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֗יךָ אֲרַמִּי֙ אֹבֵ֣ד אָבִ֔י וַיֵּ֣רֶד מִצְרַ֔יְמָה וַיָּ֥גָר שָׁ֖ם בִּמְתֵ֣י מְעָ֑ט וַֽיְהִי־שָׁ֕ם לְג֥וֹי גָּד֖וֹל עָצ֥וּם וָרָֽב: | |
| 6 And the Egyptians treated us cruelly and afflicted us, and they imposed hard labor upon us. | ווַיָּרֵ֧עוּ אֹתָ֛נוּ הַמִּצְרִ֖ים וַיְעַנּ֑וּנוּ וַיִּתְּנ֥וּ עָלֵ֖ינוּ עֲבֹדָ֥ה קָשָֽׁה: | |
| 7 So we cried out to the Lord, God of our fathers, and the Lord heard our voice and saw our affliction, our toil, and our oppression. | זוַנִּצְעַ֕ק אֶל־יְהֹוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵ֣י אֲבֹתֵ֑ינוּ וַיִּשְׁמַ֤ע יְהֹוָה֙ אֶת־קֹלֵ֔נוּ וַיַּ֧רְא אֶת־עָנְיֵ֛נוּ וְאֶת־עֲמָלֵ֖נוּ וְאֶת־לַֽחֲצֵֽנוּ: | |
| 8 And the Lord brought us out from Egypt with a strong hand and with an outstretched arm, with great awe, and with signs and wonders. | חוַיּֽוֹצִאֵ֤נוּ יְהֹוָה֙ מִמִּצְרַ֔יִם בְּיָ֤ד חֲזָקָה֙ וּבִזְרֹ֣עַ נְטוּיָ֔ה וּבְמֹרָ֖א גָּדֹ֑ל וּבְאֹת֖וֹת וּבְמֹֽפְתִֽים: | |
| 9 And He brought us to this place, and He gave us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey. | טוַיְבִאֵ֖נוּ אֶל־הַמָּק֣וֹם הַזֶּ֑ה וַיִּתֶּן־לָ֨נוּ֙ אֶת־הָאָ֣רֶץ הַזֹּ֔את אֶ֛רֶץ זָבַ֥ת חָלָ֖ב וּדְבָֽשׁ: | |
| 10 And now, behold, I have brought the first of the fruit of the ground which you, O Lord, have given to me.” Then, you shall lay it before the Lord, your God, and prostrate yourself before the Lord, your God. | יוְעַתָּ֗ה הִנֵּ֤ה הֵבֵ֨אתִי֙ אֶת־רֵאשִׁית֙ פְּרִ֣י הָֽאֲדָמָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר־נָתַ֥תָּה לִּ֖י יְהֹוָ֑ה וְהִנַּחְתּ֗וֹ לִפְנֵי֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ וְהִשְׁתַּֽחֲוִ֔יתָ לִפְנֵ֖י יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ: | |

| 7 All the sheep of Kedar shall be gathered to you, the rams of Nebaioth shall serve you; they shall be offered up with acceptance upon My altar, and I will glorify My glorious house. | זכָּל־צֹ֚אן קֵדָר֙ יִקָּ֣בְצוּ לָ֔ךְ אֵילֵ֥י נְבָי֖וֹת יְשָֽׁרֲת֑וּנֶךְ יַֽעֲל֚וּ עַל־רָצוֹן֙ מִזְבְּחִ֔י וּבֵ֥ית תִּפְאַרְתִּ֖י אֲפָאֵֽר: | |
| 8 Who are these that fly like a cloud and like doves to their cotes? | חמִי־אֵ֖לֶּה כָּעָ֣ב תְּעוּפֶ֑ינָה וְכַיּוֹנִ֖ים אֶל־אֲרֻבֹּֽתֵיהֶֽם: | |
| 9 For the isles will hope for Me, and the ships of Tarshish [as] in the beginning, to bring your sons from afar, their silver and their gold with them, in the name of the Lord your God and for the Holy One of Israel, for He has glorified you. | טכִּי־לִ֣י | אִיִּ֣ים יְקַוּ֗וּ וָֽאֳנִיּ֚וֹת תַּרְשִׁישׁ֙ בָּרִ֣אשֹׁנָ֔ה לְהָבִ֚יא בָנַ֙יִךְ֙ מֵֽרָח֔וֹק כַּסְפָּ֥ם וּזְהָבָ֖ם אִתָּ֑ם לְשֵׁם֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהַ֔יִךְ וְלִקְד֥וֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל כִּ֥י פֵֽאֲרָֽךְ: | |
| 10 And foreigners shall build your walls, and their kings shall serve you, for in My wrath I struck you, and in My grace have I had mercy on you. | יוּבָנ֚וּ בְנֵֽי־נֵכָר֙ חֹ֣מֹתַ֔יִךְ וּמַלְכֵיהֶ֖ם יְשָֽׁרְת֑וּנֶךְ כִּ֚י בְקִצְפִּי֙ הִכִּיתִ֔יךְ וּבִרְצוֹנִ֖י רִֽחַמְתִּֽיךְ: | |
| 11 And they shall open your gates always; day and night they shall not be closed, to bring to you the wealth of the nations and their kings in procession. | יאוּפִתְּח֨וּ שְׁעָרַ֧יִךְ תָּמִ֛יד יוֹמָ֥ם וָלַ֖יְלָה לֹ֣א יִסָּגֵ֑רוּ לְהָבִ֚יא אֵלַ֙יִךְ֙ חֵ֣יל גּוֹיִ֔ם וּמַלְכֵיהֶ֖ם נְהוּגִֽים: | |
| 12 For the nation and the kingdom that shall not serve you shall perish, and the nations shall be destroyed. | יבכִּֽי־הַגּ֧וֹי וְהַמַּמְלָכָ֛ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹֽא־יַֽעַבְד֖וּךְ יֹאבֵ֑דוּ וְהַגּוֹיִ֖ם חָרֹ֥ב יֶֽחֱרָֽבוּ: | |
| 13 The glory of the Lebanon shall come to you, box trees, firs, and cypresses together, to glorify the place of My sanctuary, and the place of My feet I will honor. | יגכְּב֚וֹד הַלְּבָנוֹן֙ אֵלַ֣יִךְ יָב֔וֹא בְּר֛וֹשׁ תִּדְהָ֥ר וּתְאַשּׁ֖וּר יַחְדָּ֑ו לְפָאֵר֙ מְק֣וֹם מִקְדָּשִׁ֔י וּמְק֥וֹם רַגְלַ֖י אֲכַבֵּֽד: | |
| 14 And the children of your oppressors shall go to you bent over, and those who despised you shall prostrate themselves at the soles of your feet, and they shall call you ‘the city of the Lord, Zion of the Holy One of Israel.’ | ידוְהָֽלְכ֨וּ אֵלַ֚יִךְ שְׁח֙וֹחַ֙ בְּנֵ֣י מְעַנַּ֔יִךְ וְהִֽשְׁתַּֽחֲו֛וּ עַל־כַּפּ֥וֹת רַגְלַ֖יִךְ כָּל־מְנַֽאֲצָ֑יִךְ וְקָ֚רְאוּ לָךְ֙ עִ֣יר יְהֹוָ֔ה צִיּ֖וֹן קְד֥וֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵֽל: | |
| 15 Instead of your being forsaken and hated without a passerby, I will make you an everlasting pride, the joy of every generation. | טותַּ֧חַת הֱיוֹתֵ֛ךְ עֲזוּבָ֥ה וּשְׂנוּאָ֖ה וְאֵ֣ין עוֹבֵ֑ר וְשַׂמְתִּיךְ֙ לִגְא֣וֹן עוֹלָ֔ם מְשׂ֖וֹשׂ דּ֥וֹר וָדֽוֹר: | |
| 16 And you shall suck the milk of nations and the breast of kings you shall suck, and you shall know that I am the Lord, your Savior, and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob. | טזוְיָֽנַקְתְּ֙ חֲלֵ֣ב גּוֹיִ֔ם וְשֹׁ֥ד מְלָכִ֖ים תִּינָ֑קִי וְיָדַ֗עַתְּ כִּ֣י אֲנִ֚י יְהֹוָה֙ מֽוֹשִׁיעֵ֔ךְ וְגֹֽאֲלֵ֖ךְ אֲבִ֥יר יַֽעֲקֹֽב: | |
| 17 Instead of the copper I will bring gold, and instead of the iron I will bring silver, and instead of the wood, copper, and instead of the stones, iron, and I will make your officers peace and your rulers righteousness. | יזתַּ֣חַת הַנְּחֹ֜שֶׁת אָבִ֣יא זָהָ֗ב וְתַ֚חַת הַבַּרְזֶל֙ אָ֣בִיא כֶ֔סֶף וְתַ֚חַת הָֽעֵצִים֙ נְחֹ֔שֶׁת וְתַ֥חַת הָֽאֲבָנִ֖ים בַּרְזֶ֑ל וְשַׂמְתִּ֚י פְקֻדָּתֵךְ֙ שָׁל֔וֹם וְנֹגְשַׂ֖יִךְ צְדָקָֽה: | |
| 18 Violence shall no longer be heard in your land, neither robbery nor destruction within your borders, and you shall call salvation your walls and your gates praise. | יחלֹֽא־יִשָּׁמַ֨ע ע֚וֹד חָמָס֙ בְּאַרְצֵ֔ךְ שֹׁ֥ד וָשֶׁ֖בֶר בִּגְבוּלָ֑יִךְ וְקָרָ֚את יְשׁוּעָה֙ חֽוֹמֹתַ֔יִךְ וּשְׁעָרַ֖יִךְ תְּהִלָּֽה: | |
| 19 You shall no longer have the sun for light by day, and for brightness, the moon shall not give you light, but the Lord shall be to you for an everlasting light, and your God for your glory. | יטלֹֽא־יִֽהְיֶה־לָּ֨ךְ ע֚וֹד הַשֶּׁ֙מֶשׁ֙ לְא֣וֹר יוֹמָ֔ם וּלְנֹ֕גַהּ הַיָּרֵ֖חַ לֹֽא־יָאִ֣יר לָ֑ךְ וְהָיָה־לָ֚ךְ יְהֹוָה֙ לְא֣וֹר עוֹלָ֔ם וֵֽאלֹהַ֖יִךְ לְתִפְאַרְתֵּֽךְ: | |

| 21 And your people, all of them righteous, shall inherit the land forever, a scion of My planting, the work of My hands in which I will glory. | כאוְעַמֵּךְ֙ כֻּלָּ֣ם צַדִּיקִ֔ים לְעוֹלָ֖ם יִ֣ירְשׁוּ אָ֑רֶץ נֵ֧צֶר מַטָּעַ֛י(כתיב מַטָּעַ֛ו) מַֽעֲשֵׂ֥ה יָדַ֖י לְהִתְפָּאֵֽר: | |
| 22 The smallest shall become a thousand and the least a mighty nation; I am the Lord, in its time I will hasten it. | כבהַקָּטֹן֙ יִֽהְיֶ֣ה לָאֶ֔לֶף וְהַצָּעִ֖יר לְג֣וֹי עָצ֑וּם אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה בְּעִתָּ֥הּ אֲחִישֶֽׁנָּה: |

(5) Entonces, tú dirás ante el Eterno tu Di-s: “Un arameo errante era mi padre, bajó a Egipto y habitó allí con poca gente hasta que el pueblo se engrandenció y se tornó poderoso.
(6) Pero los egipcios nos maltrataron y nos impusieron trabajos forzados.
(7) Y cuando clamamos al Eterno, Di-s de nuestros padres, Él escucho nuestra voz y reparó en nuestras aflicciones, en nuestra desgracia y en nuestra opresión.
(8) El Eterno nos sacó de Egipto con mano poderosa y brazo extendido, con terribles señales y prodigios sin par,
(9) para traernos a este lugar, una tierra que mana leche y miel que puso a nuestra disposición.
(10) Por eso dirás: “Ahora, he aquí que te brindo los primeros frutos de la tierra que Tú, oh Señor me has dado”. Y al presentar las primicias al Eterno tu Dios, te posternarás ante Él.
(11) Y te alegrarás en todas las cosas buenas que el Eterno tu Di-s te dio y a tu familia. También se regocijará el levita y el forastero que mora entre vosotros.

Moshe instruye al Pueblo de Israel: Cuando entres a la tierra que Di-s te esta entregando como herencia eterna, y la establezcas y la cultives, trae las primeras frutas (bicurím) de tu huerta al Sagrado Templo, y declara tu gratitud por todo lo que Di-s ha hecho por ti.

ISAÍAS 60:1-22
(1) Levántate y resplandece porque ha llegado tu luz; la gloria del Eterno se ha levantado sobre ti, (2) pues, he aquí que las tinieblas cubrirán la tierra y habrá una densa oscuridad sobre los pueblos pero sobre ti se levantará el Eterno y Su gloria será vista sobre ti.
(3) Las naciones irán hacia tu luz y los reyes se desplazaran hacia tu resplandor naciente.
(4) Alza tus ojos enredador y mira. Todos ellos han sido convocados y vienen a ti. Tus hijos viene de lejos y tus hijas son llevadas a su lado.
(5) Tú veras y estarás radiante; Se pasmara tu corazón y se ensanchara porque la abundancia del mar se volverá hacia ti y las riquezas de las naciones vendrán a ti y la riqueza de las naciones bendrán a ti.
(6) La caravana de camellos. de Saba te cubrirán. Traerán oro e incienso y proclamarán alabanzas al Eterno.
(7) Todos los rebaños de Kedar serán juntados. para ti. Los carneros de Nabayon (N’vayon) serán para tu servicio. Elevarán sobre Mi altar un sacrificio agradable y yo glorificaré Mi casa.
(8) ¿Quiénes son éstos que vuelan como nube, como las palomas a su palomar?
(9) De seguro, las islas Me aguardarán y los barcos de Tarsis primero para traer a tus hijos desde lejos con su plata y su oro por le NOmbre del Eterno tu Di-s y por el Santo de Israel porque te ha glorificado.
(10) Extranjeros construirán tus muros; sus reyes te ayudarán porque aunque te herí en Mi ira, en Mí favor me he compadecido de ti.
(11) Tus puertas también estarán permanentemente abiertas, días y noches. No cerradas para que los hombres puedan traer la riqueza de las naciones y que sus reyes vengan en procesión;
(12) porque la anción y el reino que no te serviría, perecerá. esas naciones serán completamente asoladas.
(13) La gloria del Líbano vendrá hacia ti; el ciprés, elolmo y el alerce juntamente para hermosear el lugar de Mi santuario. Y haré glorioso ellugar de Mis pies.
(14) Los hijos de quienes te afligieron vendrán a posternarse ante ti. Y todos los que te despreciaron se inclinarán a la altura de los atlones de tus pies y te llamarán ciudad del Eterno, la Sión del Santo de Israel.
(15) Aunque fueras abandonada y aborrecida, de modo que ningún hombre pasa por ti, yo haré que fueras gloria eterna, gozo de generaciones.
(16) Y mamarás la leche de las naciones; mamarás los pechos de los reyes y sabrás que Yo, el Eterno, soy tu Salvador. Yo, el Todopoderoso de Jacob, soy tu Redentor.
(17) Por bronce, traeré oro y por hierro,traeré plata; por madera, bronce y por piedras, hierro. También daré paz a tus funcionarios y justicia a tus magistrados.
(18) La violencia no se oirá más en tu tierra, ni la desolación nimla destrucción denrod e tus fronteras sino que llamarás a tus muros Salvación y a tus puertas Alabanza.
(19) El sol no será más tu luz de día, ni te dará luz la luna por su resplandor sino que el Eterno será tu luz eterna y tu Di´s será tu gloria.
(20) Tu sol no bajará más, ni se irá tu luna, porque el Eterno será tu luz permanente y se acabará los días de tu luto.
(21) Tu pueblo será compuesto solo de justos que heredarán la tierra para siempre. Rebuevos plantados por Mí, obra de Mis manos, en las que me glorío.
(22) El más pequeño vendrá a ser mil y el menor, una nación poderosa. Yo el Eterno, me apresurré en su tiempo.
