(1) Para el director de coro. Salmos de David. Cántico.
(2) Levántense Dios, dispérsense sus enemigos y huyan ante Él los que Le odian.
(3) Como se esfuma el humo, así que se esfumen ellos. Como la cera se deslíe ante el fuego, así perezca el impío ante la Presencia de Dios,
(4) mas regocijense los justos y sean exaltados ante Dios. Sí, alégrense con júbilo.
(5) Cantad a Dios, cantad a Dios, cantad alabanzas a Su Nombre. Exaltad alq ue cabalga sobre los cielos cuyo Nombre es el Eterno, y enaltecedle ante Él.
(6) Padre de los huérfanos y juez de las viudas es Dios en Su santa morada.
(7) Dios hace que el solitario viva en una casa, y libra a los prisioneros dándoles prosperidad. Los rebeldes habitan en la tierra seca.
(8) Oh Dios, cuando ibas delante de Tu pueblo, cuando marchabas por el desierto, Selá.
(9) la tierra temblaba y los cielos se inclinaban ante la Presencia de Dios. Hasta el Sinaí temblaba ante la presencia De Dios, el Dios de Israel.
(10) Una lluvia de beneficios derramaste, oh Dios. Cuando Tu herencia estaba cansada, Tú la reanimabas.
(11) Tu rebaño se estableció allí y Tú preparaste Tu bondad para los humildes, oh Dios.
(12) El Señor da la palabra.las mujeres que proclaman las noticias son un gran ejército.
13) Huyen precipitadamente reyes de ejércitos, y la que se queda en casa reparte los despojos.
(14) Cuando os acostáis entre los rediles, las alas de la paloma están cubiertas de plata, y sus plumas brillan como el oro.
(15) Cuando el Todopoderoso dispersa reyes allí, cae nieve en el Salmón (Tzalmón).
(16) Una montaña de Dios es la montaña de Basan (Bashán). Una montaña de picos es la montaña de Basán.
(17) ¿Por qué miráis de reojo, oh montaña de picos, a la montaña que Dios escogió por morada Suya? Sí, el Eterno vivirá allí para siempre.
(18) Los carros de Dios son miríadas, millares, millares sobre millares. el Señor es entre ellos, como en el Sinaí, en santidad
(19) Ascendiste alto. Llevaste cautivos al cautiverio. Recibiste presentes de hombres. Sí, también entre los rebeldes, para que Dios el Eterno morara allí.
(20) Bendito sea el Señor, día a día, que sobrelleva nuestra carga. Es el Dios de nuestra salvación. Selá.
(21) Dios es para nosotros un Dios de libertad. Y a Dios el Señor pertenece lo relativo a la muerte.
(22) Ciertamente Dios herirá la cabeza de Sus enemigos, la mollera cabelluda del que insiste en sus pecados.
(23) El Señor dijo: “Los haré volver de Basan. Los haré volver de las profundidades del mar,
(24) para que tu pie pueda vadear la sangre y la lengua de tus perros tengan su porción de tus enemigos”.
(25) Se han visto tus caminos, oh Dios, los caminos de mi Dios, mi Rey, en santidad.
(26) Los cantares van delante y detrás de ellos los tañedores, en medio de doncellas que tocan panderos:
(27) “Bendecid a Dios todas las congregaciones. (Bendecid) al Señor, vosotros que sois de la fuente de Israel”,
(28) Allí está Benjamín (Bin´yamín), el más joven que los gobierna. Los príncipes de Judá forman su consejo. Y los príncipes de Zabulón (Z´vulun) y los príncipes de Neftalí (Naftalí).
(29) Tu Dios ha ordenado tu fuerza. Sé fuerte, Oh Dios, Tú que has trabajado por nosotros.
(30) A Tu Templo Jerusalem, los reyes Te traerán presentes.
(31) espanta a las fieras de los cañaverales, la multitud de toros, con los becerros de los pueblos. Cada cual se somete con piezas de plata. Él ha esparcido a los pueblos que se deleitan en guerras.
(32)Saldrán príncipes de Egipto (Mitzráyim). De Etiopía (Cush) se apresurará a extender sus manos a Dios.
(33) Cantad a Dios, oh reinos de la tierra. cantad alabanzas al Señor, Selá,
(34) al que cabalga sobre los cielos de los cielos, que están desde antiguo. He aquí que Él hace resonar Su voz, una voz poderosa.
(35) Reconoced la fuerza De Dios. Su majestad es sobre Israel, y Su fuerza esta en los cielos.
(36) Terrible es Dios fuera de los lugares santos. El Dios de Israel otorga fuerza y poder al pueblo. Bendito sea Dios.
