Yirmiyahu – Jeremiah – Chapter 10

1 Hearken to the word that the Lord spoke about you, O house of Israel.		אשִׁמְע֣וּ אֶת־הַדָּבָ֗ר אֲשֶׁ֨ר דִּבֶּ֧ר יְהֹוָ֛ה עֲלֵיכֶ֖ם בֵּ֥ית יִשְׂרָאֵֽל:
2 So says the Lord: of the way of the nations you shall not learn, and from the signs of the heaven be not dismayed, for the nations are dismayed from them.		בכֹּ֣ה | אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֗ה אֶל־דֶּ֚רֶךְ הַגּוֹיִם֙ אַל־תִּלְמָ֔דוּ וּמֵֽאֹת֥וֹת הַשָּׁמַ֖יִם אַל־תֵּחָ֑תּוּ כִּֽי־יֵחַ֥תּוּ הַגּוֹיִ֖ם מֵהֵֽמָּה:
3 For the statutes of the peoples are vanity, for it is but a stock that one cut from the forest, the handiwork of a carpenter with a small axe.		גכִּֽי־חֻקּ֥וֹת הָֽעַמִּ֖ים הֶ֣בֶל ה֑וּא כִּי־עֵץ֙ מִיַּ֣עַר כְּרָת֔וֹ מַֽעֲשֵׂ֥ה יְדֵ֥י־חָרָ֖שׁ בַּמַּֽעֲצָֽד:
4 With silver and gold he beautifies it, with nails and with sledge hammers they strengthen them so that it does not bend.		דבְּכֶ֥סֶף וּבְזָהָ֖ב יְיַפֵּ֑הוּ בְּמַסְמְר֧וֹת וּבְמַקָּב֛וֹת יְחַזְּק֖וּם וְל֥וֹא יָפִֽיק:
5 Like a palm tree they are beaten, and they do not speak; they are carried for they do not step; fear them not for they will do no harm, neither is it in them to do good.		הכְּתֹ֨מֶר מִקְשָׁ֥ה הֵ֙מָּה֙ וְלֹ֣א יְדַבֵּ֔רוּ נָשׂ֥וֹא יִנָּשׂ֖וּא כִּי לֹ֣א יִצְעָ֑דוּ אַל־תִּֽירְא֚וּ מֵהֶם֙ כִּי־לֹ֣א יָרֵ֔עוּ וְגַם־הֵיטֵ֖יב אֵ֥ין אוֹתָֽם:
6 There is none like You, O Lord; You are great, and Your name is great with might.		ומֵאֵ֥ין כָּמ֖וֹךָ יְהֹוָ֑ה גָּד֥וֹל אַתָּ֛ה וְגָד֥וֹל שִׁמְךָ֖ בִּגְבוּרָֽה:
7 Who will not fear You, O King of the nations, for it befits You, for among all the wise men of the nations and among all their kingdom there is none like You.		זמִ֣י לֹ֚א יִרָֽאֲךָ֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ הַגּוֹיִ֔ם כִּ֥י לְךָ֖ יָאָ֑תָה כִּ֣י בְכָל־חַכְמֵ֧י הַגּוֹיִ֛ם וּבְכָל־מַלְכוּתָ֖ם מֵאֵ֥ין כָּמֽוֹךָ:
8 But with one thing they are brutish and foolish, the vanities for which they will be punished are but wood.		חוּבְאַחַ֖ת יִבְעֲר֣וּ וְיִכְסָ֑לוּ מוּסַ֥ר הֲבָלִ֖ים עֵ֥ץ הֽוּא:
9 Silver beaten into plates is brought from Tarshish, and gold from Uphaz, the work of a craftsman and the hands of a smith; their raiment is blue and purple, all of them the work of experts.		טכֶּ֣סֶף מְרֻקָּ֞ע מִתַּרְשִׁ֣ישׁ יוּבָ֗א וְזָהָב֙ מֵֽאוּפָ֔ז מַֽעֲשֵׂ֥ה חָרָ֖שׁ וִידֵ֣י צוֹרֵ֑ף תְּכֵ֚לֶת וְאַרְגָּמָן֙ לְבוּשָׁ֔ם מַֽעֲשֵׂ֥ה חֲכָמִ֖ים כֻּלָּֽם:
10 But the Lord God is true; He is a living God and the King of the world; from His anger the earth quakes, and the nations cannot contain His fury.		יוַֽיהֹוָ֚ה אֱלֹהִים֙ אֱמֶ֔ת הֽוּא־אֱלֹהִ֥ים חַיִּ֖ים וּמֶ֣לֶךְ עוֹלָ֑ם מִקִּצְפּוֹ֙ תִּרְעַ֣שׁ הָאָ֔רֶץ וְלֹֽא־יָכִ֥לוּ גוֹיִ֖ם זַעְמֽוֹ:
11 So shall you say to them, “The gods who did not make the heavens and the earth, shall perish from the earth and from beneath these heavens.		יאכִּדְנָה֙ תֵּֽאמְר֣וּן לְה֔וֹם אֱלָ֣הַיָּ֔א דִּֽי־שְׁמַיָּ֥א וְאַרְקָ֖א לָ֣א עֲבַ֑דוּ יֵאבַ֧דוּ מֵֽאַרְעָ֛א וּמִן־תְּח֥וֹת שְׁמַיָּ֖א אֵֽלֶּה:
12 Who made the earth with His strength, He prepared the world by His wisdom, and with His understanding He stretched out the heavens.		יבעֹשֵׂ֥ה אֶ֙רֶץ֙ בְּכֹח֔וֹ מֵכִ֥ין תֵּבֵ֖ל בְּחָכְמָת֑וֹ וּבִתְבוּנָת֖וֹ נָטָ֥ה שָׁמָֽיִם:
13 At the sound of His giving a multitude of waters in the heaven, and He brought up clouds from the end of the earth, He made lightning for the rain, and He took wind out of His treasuries.		יגלְק֨וֹל תִּתּ֜וֹ הֲמ֥וֹן מַ֙יִם֙ בַּשָּׁמַ֔יִם וַיַּֽעֲלֶ֥ה נְשִׂאִ֖ים מִקְצֵ֣ה הָאָ֑רֶץ (כתיב אָ֑רֶץ) בְּרָקִ֚ים לַמָּטָר֙ עָשָׂ֔ה וַיּ֥וֹצֵא ר֖וּחַ מֵאֹצְרוֹתָֽיו:
14 Every man is brutish without knowledge; every smith is put to shame by his graven image, for his molten images are false, without spirit in them.		ידנִבְעַ֚ר כָּל־אָדָם֙ מִדַּ֔עַת הֹבִ֥ישׁ כָּל־צוֹרֵ֖ף מִפָּ֑סֶל כִּ֛י שֶׁ֥קֶר נִסְכּ֖וֹ וְלֹא־ר֥וּחַ בָּֽם:
15 They are vanity, a work of delusion; at the time of their visitation they shall perish.		טוהֶ֣בֶל הֵ֔מָּה מַֽעֲשֵׂ֖ה תַּעְתֻּעִ֑ים בְּעֵ֥ת פְּקֻדָּתָ֖ם יֹאבֵֽדוּ:
16 Not like these is Jacob’s portion, for He is the One Who formed everything, and Israel is the tribe of His inheritance; the Lord of Hosts is His name.”		טזלֹֽא־כְאֵ֜לֶּה חֵ֣לֶק יַֽעֲקֹ֗ב כִּֽי־יוֹצֵ֚ר הַכֹּל֙ ה֔וּא וְיִ֨שְׂרָאֵ֔ל שֵׁ֖בֶט נַֽחֲלָת֑וֹ יְהֹוָ֥ה צְבָא֖וֹת שְׁמֽוֹ:
17 Gather in from the land your merchandise, you who sit in the fortified cities.		יזאִסְפִּ֥י מֵאֶ֖רֶץ כִּנְעָתֵ֑ךְ יוֹשֶׁ֖בֶת (כתיב יוֹשֶׁ֖בֶתי) בַּמָּצֽוֹר:
18 For, so says the Lord: Behold, I will sling the inhabitants of the land this time, and I will bring troubles to them that they may find.		יחכִּֽי־כֹה֙ אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֔ה הִנְנִ֥י קוֹלֵ֛עַ אֶת־יֽוֹשְׁבֵ֥י הָאָ֖רֶץ בַּפַּ֣עַם הַזֹּ֑את וַֽהֲצֵרֹ֥תִי לָהֶ֖ם לְמַ֥עַן יִמְצָֽאוּ:
19 Woe is to me for my hurt, my wound is grievous, and I said, “This is but an illness, and I will bear it.”		יטא֥וֹי לִי֙ עַל־שִׁבְרִ֔י נַחְלָ֖ה מַכָּתִ֑י וַֽאֲנִ֣י אָמַ֔רְתִּי אַ֛ךְ זֶ֥ה חֳלִ֖י וְאֶשָּׂאֶֽנּוּ:
20 My tent has been spoiled, and all my cords have been broken; my children have left me and they are not here. No one pitches my tent anymore, or sets up my curtains.		כאָֽהֳלִ֣י שֻׁדָּ֔ד וְכָל־מֵֽיתָרַ֖י נִתָּ֑קוּ בָּנַ֚י יְצָאֻ֙נִי֙ וְאֵינָ֔ם אֵֽין־נֹטֶ֥ה עוֹד֙ אָֽהֳלִ֔י וּמֵקִ֖ים יְרִֽיעוֹתָֽי:
21 For the shepherds have become brutish, and they did not seek the Lord: therefore, they have not prospered, and all their flocks have been scattered.		כאכִּ֚י נִבְעֲרוּ֙ הָֽרֹעִ֔ים וְאֶת־יְהֹוָ֖ה לֹ֣א דָרָ֑שׁוּ עַל־כֵּן֙ לֹ֣א הִשְׂכִּ֔ילוּ וְכָל־מַרְעִיתָ֖ם נָפֽוֹצָה:
22 Hark! A report, behold it comes, and a great tumult from the northland, to make the cities of Judah a desolation, a lair of jackals.		כבק֚וֹל שְׁמוּעָה֙ הִנֵּ֣ה בָאָ֔ה וְרַ֥עַשׁ גָּד֖וֹל מֵאֶ֣רֶץ צָפ֑וֹן לָשֹ֞וּם אֶת־עָרֵ֧י יְהוּדָ֛ה שְׁמָמָ֖ה מְע֥וֹן תַּנִּֽים:
23 I know, O Lord, that man’s way is not his; neither has the man who goes, to prepare his step.		כגיָדַ֣עְתִּי יְהֹוָ֔ה כִּ֛י לֹ֥א לָֽאָדָ֖ם דַּרְכּ֑וֹ לֹֽא־לְאִ֣ישׁ הֹלֵ֔ךְ וְהָכִ֖ין אֶת־צַֽעֲדֽוֹ:
24 Chasten me, O Lord, but with a measure, not with Your wrath, lest You diminish me.		כדיַסְּרֵ֥נִי יְהֹוָ֖ה אַךְ־בְּמִשְׁפָּ֑ט אַל־בְּאַפְּךָ֖ פֶּן־תַּמְעִטֵֽנִי:
25 Pour out Your wrath upon the nations that do not know You and upon the families that have not called in Your name, for they have devoured Jacob and consumed him and destroyed him, and have wasted his dwelling.		כהשְׁפֹ֣ךְ חֲמָתְךָ֗ עַל־הַגּוֹיִם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹֽא־יְדָע֔וּךָ וְעַל֙ מִשְׁפָּח֔וֹת אֲשֶׁ֥ר בְּשִׁמְךָ֖ לֹ֣א קָרָ֑אוּ כִּי־אָֽכְל֣וּ אֶת־יַֽעֲקֹ֗ב וַֽאֲכָלֻ֙הוּ֙ וַיְכַלֻּ֔הוּ וְאֶת־נָוֵ֖הוּ הֵשַֽׁמּוּ:

Jeremías 10

(1) Escucha la palabra que el  Eterno os habla, oh casa de Israel.

(2) Así dice el Eterno: No aprendáis el camino de los paganos, y no os preocupéis por los signos del cielo que espantan a los paganos.

(3) Por cuanto las costumbres de esos pueblos son vanidad. No es más que un árbol que uno corta en el bosque, el trabajo de las manos del obrero con el hacha.

(4) Lo adornan con oro y plata, lo ajustan con clavos y martillos para que no se muevan.

(5) Son como espantajos en un campo de calabazas y no hablan. Han de ser llevados, porque no pueden dar un paso. No los temáis porque no pueden hacer mal, ni tampoco está en ellos el hacer bien.

(6) No hay nadie como Tú, oh Eterno. Eres grande y Tu Nombre es grande en poder.

(7) ¿Quién no Te temería, oh Rey de las naciones? Porque corresponde que Te teman, ya que entre todos los sabios de las naciones, y entre todos los reyes, no hay nadie como Tú.

(8) Mas aquellos son todos brutos y tontos. Las vanidades que les enseñan no son más que leños.

(9) La plata batida que se trae de Tarsis (Tarshish), y el oro de Ufaz, la obra del artersano y de las manos del orfebre, azul y púrpura es su ornamento, son todos la obra de hombres hábiles.

(10) Pero el Dios verdadero es el Dios Eterno. Él es el Dios vivo y el Rey Eterno. Ante Su ira tiembla la tierra, y las naciones no son capaces de soportar Su indignación.

(11) Así les dirás: “Los dioses que no han hecho los cielos y la tierra, ésos han de perecer en la tierra y bajo los cielos”.

(12) Él, que ha hecho la tierra con Su poder, que ha establecido el mundo con Su sabiduría y ha extendido los cielos con Su inteligencia,

(13) al dar Su voz, una multitud de aguas aparece en los cielos, hace que los vapores suban desde los confines de la tierra, hace relámpagos con la lluvia y saca el viento de Sus tesoros.

(14) Todo hombre sin conocimiento se embrutece, todo orfebre es avergonzado por la imagen esculpida. Su imagen fundida es una falsedad, y no hay aliento en ella.

(15) Son vanidad, obra de la ilusión. En el tiempo de su visitación han de perecer.

(16) Pero no es así la porción de Jacob, porque Él es el Hacedor de todas las cosas, e Israel es la tribu de Su heredad. Eterno de los Ejércitos es Su Nombre.

(17) Recoge tus trastos del suelo, tú que habitas en la fortaleza.

(18) Porque así dice el Eterno: “He aquí que arrojaré ahora a los habitantes de la tierra y los atribularé para que lo sientan”.

(19) ¡Ay de mí por el golpe! Mi herida es dolorosa, pero yo dije: “Es mi dolencia, y debo soportarla”.

(20) Mi tienda fue saqueada, y todas mis cuerdas estan rotas. Mis hijos se han ido de mí y ya no están más. Ya no hay quien plante más en mis tiendas y alce mis cortinas.

(21) Porque los pastores se han embrutecido por no haber buscado al Eterno. Por lo tanto, no han prosperado y todos sus rebaños estan esparcidos.

(22) Voz de rumor: He aquí que viene una gran conmoción del país del norte para asolar las ciudades de Judá y convertirla en guarida de chacales.

(23) ¡Oh Eterno! Sé que el camino del hombre no es suyo. No es potestad del hombre dirigir sus pasos cuando anda.

(24) ¡Oh Eterno! Corrígeme pero moderadamente, no en Tu ira para que no me humilles.

(25) Derrama Tu ira sobre las naciones que no te conocen y sobre las familias que no invocan Tu Nombre porque han devorado a Jacob. Sí, le han devorado y consumido, y han dejado desolada su habitación.

Yeshayahu – Isaiah – Chapter 60

1 Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has shone upon you.		אק֥וּמִי א֖וֹרִי כִּֽי־בָ֣א אוֹרֵ֑ךְ וּכְב֥וֹד יְהֹוָ֖ה עָלַ֥יִךְ זָרָֽח:
2 For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and a gross darkness the kingdoms, and the Lord shall shine upon you, and His glory shall appear over you.		בכִּֽי־הִנֵּ֚ה הַחֹ֙שֶׁךְ֙ יְכַסֶּה־אֶ֔רֶץ וַֽעֲרָפֶ֖ל לְאֻמִּ֑ים וְעָלַ֙יִךְ֙ יִזְרַ֣ח יְהֹוָ֔ה וּכְבוֹד֖וֹ עָלַ֥יִךְ יֵֽרָאֶֽה:
3 And nations shall go by your light and kings by the brilliance of your shine.		גוְהָֽלְכ֥וּ גוֹיִ֖ם לְאוֹרֵ֑ךְ וּמְלָכִ֖ים לְנֹ֥גַהּ זַרְחֵֽךְ:
4 Lift up your eyes all around and see, they all have gathered, they have come to you; your sons shall come from afar, and your daughters shall be raised on [their] side.		דשְׂאִי־סָבִ֚יב עֵינַ֙יִךְ֙ וּרְאִ֔י כֻּלָּ֖ם נִקְבְּצ֣וּ בָֽאוּ־לָ֑ךְ בָּנַ֙יִךְ֙ מֵרָח֣וֹק יָבֹ֔אוּ וּבְנֹתַ֖יִךְ עַל־צַ֥ד תֵּֽאָמַֽנָה:
5 Then you shall see and be radiant, and your heart shall be startled and become enlarged, for the abundance of the west shall be turned over to you, the wealth of the nations that will come to you.		האָ֚ז תִּרְאִי֙ וְנָהַ֔רְתְּ וּפָחַ֥ד וְרָחַ֖ב לְבָבֵ֑ךְ כִּֽי־יֵֽהָפֵ֚ךְ עָלַ֙יִךְ֙ הֲמ֣וֹן יָ֔ם חֵ֥יל גּוֹיִ֖ם יָבֹ֥אוּ לָֽךְ:
6 A multitude of camels shall cover you, the young camels of Midian and Ephah, all of them shall come from Sheba; gold and frankincense they shall carry, and the praises of the Lord they shall report.		ושִֽׁפְעַ֨ת גְּמַלִּ֜ים תְּכַסֵּ֗ךְ בִּכְרֵ֚י מִדְיָן֙ וְעֵיפָ֔ה כֻּלָּ֖ם מִשְּׁבָ֣א יָבֹ֑אוּ זָהָ֚ב וּלְבוֹנָה֙ יִשָּׂ֔אוּ וּתְהִלּ֥וֹת יְהֹוָ֖ה יְבַשֵּֽׂרוּ:
7 All the sheep of Kedar shall be gathered to you, the rams of Nebaioth shall serve you; they shall be offered up with acceptance upon My altar, and I will glorify My glorious house.		זכָּל־צֹ֚אן קֵדָר֙ יִקָּ֣בְצוּ לָ֔ךְ אֵילֵ֥י נְבָי֖וֹת יְשָֽׁרֲת֑וּנֶךְ יַֽעֲל֚וּ עַל־רָצוֹן֙ מִזְבְּחִ֔י וּבֵ֥ית תִּפְאַרְתִּ֖י אֲפָאֵֽר:
8 Who are these that fly like a cloud and like doves to their cotes?		חמִי־אֵ֖לֶּה כָּעָ֣ב תְּעוּפֶ֑ינָה וְכַיּוֹנִ֖ים אֶל־אֲרֻבֹּֽתֵיהֶֽם:
9 For the isles will hope for Me, and the ships of Tarshish [as] in the beginning, to bring your sons from afar, their silver and their gold with them, in the name of the Lord your God and for the Holy One of Israel, for He has glorified you.		טכִּי־לִ֣י | אִיִּ֣ים יְקַוּ֗וּ וָֽאֳנִיּ֚וֹת תַּרְשִׁישׁ֙ בָּרִ֣אשֹׁנָ֔ה לְהָבִ֚יא בָנַ֙יִךְ֙ מֵֽרָח֔וֹק כַּסְפָּ֥ם וּזְהָבָ֖ם אִתָּ֑ם לְשֵׁם֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהַ֔יִךְ וְלִקְד֥וֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל כִּ֥י פֵֽאֲרָֽךְ:
10 And foreigners shall build your walls, and their kings shall serve you, for in My wrath I struck you, and in My grace have I had mercy on you.		יוּבָנ֚וּ בְנֵֽי־נֵכָר֙ חֹ֣מֹתַ֔יִךְ וּמַלְכֵיהֶ֖ם יְשָֽׁרְת֑וּנֶךְ כִּ֚י בְקִצְפִּי֙ הִכִּיתִ֔יךְ וּבִרְצוֹנִ֖י רִֽחַמְתִּֽיךְ:
11 And they shall open your gates always; day and night they shall not be closed, to bring to you the wealth of the nations and their kings in procession.		יאוּפִתְּח֨וּ שְׁעָרַ֧יִךְ תָּמִ֛יד יוֹמָ֥ם וָלַ֖יְלָה לֹ֣א יִסָּגֵ֑רוּ לְהָבִ֚יא אֵלַ֙יִךְ֙ חֵ֣יל גּוֹיִ֔ם וּמַלְכֵיהֶ֖ם נְהוּגִֽים:
12 For the nation and the kingdom that shall not serve you shall perish, and the nations shall be destroyed.		יבכִּֽי־הַגּ֧וֹי וְהַמַּמְלָכָ֛ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹֽא־יַֽעַבְד֖וּךְ יֹאבֵ֑דוּ וְהַגּוֹיִ֖ם חָרֹ֥ב יֶֽחֱרָֽבוּ:
13 The glory of the Lebanon shall come to you, box trees, firs, and cypresses together, to glorify the place of My sanctuary, and the place of My feet I will honor.		יגכְּב֚וֹד הַלְּבָנוֹן֙ אֵלַ֣יִךְ יָב֔וֹא בְּר֛וֹשׁ תִּדְהָ֥ר וּתְאַשּׁ֖וּר יַחְדָּ֑ו לְפָאֵר֙ מְק֣וֹם מִקְדָּשִׁ֔י וּמְק֥וֹם רַגְלַ֖י אֲכַבֵּֽד:
14 And the children of your oppressors shall go to you bent over, and those who despised you shall prostrate themselves at the soles of your feet, and they shall call you ‘the city of the Lord, Zion of the Holy One of Israel.’		ידוְהָֽלְכ֨וּ אֵלַ֚יִךְ שְׁח֙וֹחַ֙ בְּנֵ֣י מְעַנַּ֔יִךְ וְהִֽשְׁתַּֽחֲו֛וּ עַל־כַּפּ֥וֹת רַגְלַ֖יִךְ כָּל־מְנַֽאֲצָ֑יִךְ וְקָ֚רְאוּ לָךְ֙ עִ֣יר יְהֹוָ֔ה צִיּ֖וֹן קְד֥וֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵֽל:
15 Instead of your being forsaken and hated without a passerby, I will make you an everlasting pride, the joy of every generation.		טותַּ֧חַת הֱיוֹתֵ֛ךְ עֲזוּבָ֥ה וּשְׂנוּאָ֖ה וְאֵ֣ין עוֹבֵ֑ר וְשַׂמְתִּיךְ֙ לִגְא֣וֹן עוֹלָ֔ם מְשׂ֖וֹשׂ דּ֥וֹר וָדֽוֹר:
16 And you shall suck the milk of nations and the breast of kings you shall suck, and you shall know that I am the Lord, your Savior, and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.		טזוְיָֽנַקְתְּ֙ חֲלֵ֣ב גּוֹיִ֔ם וְשֹׁ֥ד מְלָכִ֖ים תִּינָ֑קִי וְיָדַ֗עַתְּ כִּ֣י אֲנִ֚י יְהֹוָה֙ מֽוֹשִׁיעֵ֔ךְ וְגֹֽאֲלֵ֖ךְ אֲבִ֥יר יַֽעֲקֹֽב:
17 Instead of the copper I will bring gold, and instead of the iron I will bring silver, and instead of the wood, copper, and instead of the stones, iron, and I will make your officers peace and your rulers righteousness.		יזתַּ֣חַת הַנְּחֹ֜שֶׁת אָבִ֣יא זָהָ֗ב וְתַ֚חַת הַבַּרְזֶל֙ אָ֣בִיא כֶ֔סֶף וְתַ֚חַת הָֽעֵצִים֙ נְחֹ֔שֶׁת וְתַ֥חַת הָֽאֲבָנִ֖ים בַּרְזֶ֑ל וְשַׂמְתִּ֚י פְקֻדָּתֵךְ֙ שָׁל֔וֹם וְנֹגְשַׂ֖יִךְ צְדָקָֽה:
18 Violence shall no longer be heard in your land, neither robbery nor destruction within your borders, and you shall call salvation your walls and your gates praise.		יחלֹֽא־יִשָּׁמַ֨ע ע֚וֹד חָמָס֙ בְּאַרְצֵ֔ךְ שֹׁ֥ד וָשֶׁ֖בֶר בִּגְבוּלָ֑יִךְ וְקָרָ֚את יְשׁוּעָה֙ חֽוֹמֹתַ֔יִךְ וּשְׁעָרַ֖יִךְ תְּהִלָּֽה:
19 You shall no longer have the sun for light by day, and for brightness, the moon shall not give you light, but the Lord shall be to you for an everlasting light, and your God for your glory.		יטלֹֽא־יִֽהְיֶה־לָּ֨ךְ ע֚וֹד הַשֶּׁ֙מֶשׁ֙ לְא֣וֹר יוֹמָ֔ם וּלְנֹ֕גַהּ הַיָּרֵ֖חַ לֹֽא־יָאִ֣יר לָ֑ךְ וְהָיָה־לָ֚ךְ יְהֹוָה֙ לְא֣וֹר עוֹלָ֔ם וֵֽאלֹהַ֖יִךְ לְתִפְאַרְתֵּֽךְ:
20 Your sun shall no longer set, neither shall your moon be gathered in, for the Lord shall be to you for an everlasting light, and the days of your mourning shall be completed.		כלֹֽא־יָב֥וֹא עוֹד֙ שִׁמְשֵׁ֔ךְ וִֽירֵחֵ֖ךְ לֹ֣א יֵֽאָסֵ֑ף כִּ֣י יְהֹוָ֗ה יִֽהְיֶה־לָּךְ֙ לְא֣וֹר עוֹלָ֔ם וְשָֽׁלְמ֖וּ יְמֵ֥י אֶבְלֵֽךְ:
21 And your people, all of them righteous, shall inherit the land forever, a scion of My planting, the work of My hands in which I will glory.		כאוְעַמֵּךְ֙ כֻּלָּ֣ם צַדִּיקִ֔ים לְעוֹלָ֖ם יִ֣ירְשׁוּ אָ֑רֶץ נֵ֧צֶר מַטָּעַ֛י (כתיב מַטָּעַ֛ו) מַֽעֲשֵׂ֥ה יָדַ֖י לְהִתְפָּאֵֽר:
22 The smallest shall become a thousand and the least a mighty nation; I am the Lord, in its time I will hasten it.		כבהַקָּטֹן֙ יִֽהְיֶ֣ה לָאֶ֔לֶף וְהַצָּעִ֖יר לְג֣וֹי עָצ֑וּם אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה בְּעִתָּ֥הּ אֲחִישֶֽׁנָּה:

Isaías 60

(1) Levántate y resplandece porque ha llegado tu luz; la gloria del Eterno se ha levantado sobre ti,

(2) pues, he aquí que las tinieblas cubrirán la tierra y habrá una densa oscuridad sobre los pueblos pero sobre ti se levantará el Eterno y Su gloria será vista sobre ti.

(3) Las naciones irán hacia tu luz y los reyes se desplazaran hacia tu resplandor naciente.

(4) Alza tus ojos enrededor y mira. Todos ellos han sido convocados y vienen a ti. Tus hijos viene de lejos y tus hijas son llevadas a su lado.

(5) Tú veras y estarás radiante; Se pasmara tu corazón y se ensanchara porque la abundancia del mar se volverá hacia ti y las riquezas de las naciones vendrán a ti.

(6) La caravana de camellos, de dromedarios de Madián(Midian), de Efa(Eifá), todos procedentes de Saba Te cubrirán. Traerán oro e incienso y proclamaran alabanzas al Eterno.

(7) Todos los rebaños de Kedar seran juntados para ti. Los carneros de Nabayon(N´vayon) serán para tu servicio. Elevaran sobre Mi altar un sacrificio agradable y Yo glorificaré Mi gloriosa Casa.

(8) ¡Quiénes son estos que vuelven como una nube, como las palomas a su palomar?

(9) De seguro, las islas Me aguardarán y los bracos de Tarsis primero para traer a tus hijos desde lejos con su plata y su oro por el nombre del Eterno tu Dios y por el Santo de Israel porque te ha glorificado.

(10) Extranjeros construirán tus muros; sus reyes te ayudaran porque aunque te herí en Mi ira, en Mi favor me he compadecido de ti.

(11) Tus puertas estarán permanentemente abiertas, día y noche. No serán cerradas para que los hombres puedan traerte la riqueza de las naciones y que sus reyes vengan en procesión;

(12) porque la nación y el reino que no te serviría, perecerá. Esas naciones serán completamente desoladas.

(13) La gloria del Líbano vendrá hacia ti; el ciprés, el olmo y el alerce juntamente para hermosear el lugar de Mi santuario. Y haré glorioso el lugar de Mis pies.

(14) Los hijos de quienes te afligieron vendrán a postrarse ante ti. Y todos los que te despreciaron se inclinaran a la altura de los talones de tus pies y te llamaran la ciudad del Eterno, la Sión del Santo de Israel.

(15) Aunque fueras abandonada y aborrecida, de modo que ningún hombre pasa por ti, yo haré que seas gloria eterna, gozo de muchas generaciones.

(16) Y mamarás la leche de las naciones; mamarás los pechos de los reyes y sabrás que Yo, el Eterno soy tu salvador. Yo el Todopoderoso de Jacob, soy tu Redentor.

(17) Por bronce, traeré oro y por hierro traeré plata; por madera, bronce y por piedra, hierro. También daré paz a tus funcionarios y justicia a tus magistrados.

(18) La violencia no se oirá más en la tierra, ni la desolación ni la destrucción dentro de tus fronteras sino que llamarás a tus muros Salvación y a tus puertas Alabanza.

(19) El sol no será más tu luz de día, ni te dará luz la luna por su resplandor sino que el Eterno será luz eterna y tu Dios será tu gloria.

(20) Tu sol no bajara más, ni se ira tu luna, porque el Eterno será para ti luz permanente y se acabaran los días de tu luto.

(21) Tu pueblo será compuesto solo de justos que heredaran la tierra para siempre. Renuevos plantados por Mí, obra de Mis manos, en las que Me glorío.

(22) El más pequeño vendrá a ser mil y el menor una nación poderosa. Yo el Eterno, Me apresuraré en su tiempo.
