Zechariah – Chapter 3

(7) So said the Lord of Hosts: If you walk in My ways, and if you keep My charge, you, too, shall judge My house, and you, too, shall guard My courtyards, and I will give you free access among these who stand by.
(8) Hearken, now, O Joshua the High Priest-you and your companions who sit before you, for they are men worthy of a miracle-for, behold! I bring My servant, the Shoot.
(9) For, behold the stone that I have placed before Joshua. Seven eyes are directed to one stone. Behold! I untie its knots, says the Lord of Hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.
(10) On that day, says the Lord of Hosts, you shall call-each man to his neighbor-to come under his vine and under his fig tree.

1And He showed me Joshua, the High Priest, standing before the angel of the Lord. And Satan was standing on his right, to accuse him. אוַיַּרְאֵ֗נִי אֶת־יְהוֹשֻׁ֙עַ֙ הַכֹּהֵ֣ן הַגָּד֔וֹל עֹמֵ֕ד לִפְנֵ֖י מַלְאַ֣ךְ יְהֹוָ֑ה וְהַשָּׂטָ֛ן עֹמֵ֥ד עַל־יְמִינ֖וֹ לְשִׂטְנֽוֹ:
2And the Lord said to Satan: The Lord shall rebuke you, O Satan; and the Lord shall rebuke you, He who chose Jerusalem. Is this one not a brand plucked from fire? בוַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהֹוָ֜ה אֶל־הַשָּׂטָ֗ן יִגְעַ֨ר יְהֹוָ֚ה בְּךָ֙ הַשָּׂטָ֔ן וְיִגְעַ֚ר יְהֹוָה֙ בְּךָ֔ הַבֹּחֵ֖ר בִּירֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם הֲל֧וֹא זֶ֥ה֥ א֖וּד מֻצָּ֥ל מֵאֵֽשׁ:
3Now Joshua was wearing filthy garments and standing before the angel. גוִֽיהוֹשֻׁ֕עַ הָיָ֥ה לָב֖וּשׁ בְּגָדִ֣ים צוֹאִ֑ים וְעֹמֵ֖ד לִפְנֵ֥י הַמַּלְאָֽךְ:
4And he [the angel] raised his voice and said to those standing before him, saying, “Take the filthy garments off him.” And he said to him, “See, I have removed your iniquity from you, and I have clad you with clean garments.” דוַיַּ֣עַן וַיֹּ֗אמֶר אֶל־הָעֹֽמְדִ֚ים לְפָנָיו֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר הָסִ֛ירוּ הַבְּגָדִ֥ים הַצֹּאִ֖ים מֵעָלָ֑יו וַ֣יֹּאמֶר אֵלָ֗יו רְאֵ֨ה הֶֽעֱבַ֚רְתִּי מֵֽעָלֶ֙יךָ֙ עֲו‍ֹנֶ֔ךָ וְהַלְבֵּ֥שׁ אֹֽתְךָ֖ מַֽחֲלָצֽוֹת:
5And I said, “Let them put a pure miter on his head,” and they put the pure miter on his head. And they had clothed him with garments while the angel of the Lord was standing. הוָֽאֹמַ֕ר יָשִׂ֛ימוּ צָנִ֥יף טָה֖וֹר עַל־רֹאשׁ֑וֹ וַיָּשִׂימוּ֩ הַצָּנִ֨יף הַטָּה֜וֹר עַל־רֹאשׁ֗וֹ וַיַּלְבִּשֻׁ֙הוּ֙ בְּגָדִ֔ים וּמַלְאַ֥ךְ יְהֹוָ֖ה עֹמֵֽד:
6And the angel of the Lord warned Joshua, saying, ווַיָּ֙עַד֙ מַלְאַ֣ךְ יְהֹוָ֔ה בִּֽיהוֹשֻׁ֖עַ לֵאמֹֽר:
7So said the Lord of Hosts: If you walk in My ways, and if you keep My charge, you, too, shall judge My house, and you, too, shall guard My courtyards, and I will give you free access among these who stand by. זכֹּֽה־אָמַ֞ר יְהֹוָ֣ה צְבָא֗וֹת אִם־בִּדְרָכַ֚י תֵּלֵךְ֙ וְאִ֣ם אֶת־מִשְׁמַרְתִּ֣י תִשְׁמֹ֔ר וְגַם־אַתָּה֙ תָּדִ֣ין אֶת־בֵּיתִ֔י וְגַ֖ם תִּשְׁמֹ֣ר אֶת־חֲצֵרָ֑י וְנָתַתִּ֚י לְךָ֙ מַהְלְכִ֔ים בֵּ֥ין הָעֹֽמְדִ֖ים הָאֵֽלֶּה:

10On that day, says the Lord of Hosts, you shall call-each man to his neighbor-to come under his vine and under his fig tree. יבַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא נְאֻם֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה צְבָא֔וֹת תִּקְרְא֖וּ אִ֣ישׁ לְרֵעֵ֑הוּ אֶל־תַּ֥חַת גֶּ֖פֶן וְאֶל־תַּ֥חַת תְּאֵנָֽה:

3(1) Me mostró a Jesué (Yehoshúa), el sumo sacerdote que estaba de pie ante el ángel del Eterno y a Satanás (Satán) que estaba a la derecha para acusarle”. (2) Y le dijo el ángel del Eterno a Satanás: “Que te reprenda el Eterno, oh Satanás. Sí, que te reprenda el Eterno que ha escogido a Jerusalem. ¿No es este hombre un tizón sacado del fuego?”. (3) A la sazón estaba vestido Josué con harapos, de pie delante del ángel. (4) Y contestó a los que estaban ante él diciendo: “Sacadle esos harapos”. Y a él le dijo: “He aquí que he hecho que salga de ti tu iniquidad y te vestiré de gala”. (5) Y dije:”Que le ponga una hermosa mitra sobre su cabeza”. Le pusieron pues una hermosa mitra sobre su cabeza y le vistieron con ropas buenas y el ángel del Eterno estaba a su lado. (6) Le previno el ángel del Eterno a Jesué, diciendo: (7) Así dice el Eterno de los Ejércitos: “Si anduvieras en Mis caminos, si guardaras Mi manto, si gobernaras Mi casa y también guradarás Mis atrios, te daría libre acceso entre éstos que están presentes. (8) Escucha ahora, oh Jesué, sumo sacerdote, tú y tus amigos que están junto a ti porque son hombres que representan una señal porque he aquí que voy a atraer a Mi siervo el vástago. (9) Porque he aqui la piedra que he puesto delante de Josué. Sobre la piedra, hay siete facetas. He aquí que las grabaré, dice el Eterno de los Ejércitos y quitará la iniquidad de esa tierra en un día. (10) En ese día, dice el Eterno de los Ejércitos, llamaréis a cada hombre vuestro vecino bajo la viña y bajo la ligera”.

¿En un solo día? ¿Que tenemos que hacer?

3 (7) Así dice el Eterno de los Ejércitos: “Si anduvieras en Mis caminos, si guardaras Mi manto, si gobernaras Mi casa y también guradarás Mis atrios, te daría libre acceso entre éstos que están presentes. (8) Escucha ahora, oh Jesué, sumo sacerdote, tú y tus amigos que están junto a ti porque son hombres que representan una señal porque he aquí que voy a atraer a Mi siervo el vástago. (9) Porque he aqui la piedra que he puesto delante de Josué. Sobre la piedra, hay siete facetas. Zechariah – Chapter 2

(14) Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion, for, behold! I will come and dwell in your midst, says the Lord.
(15) And many nations shall join the Lord on that day, and they shall be My people; and I will dwell in your midst and you shall know that the Lord of Hosts sent me to you.
(16) And the Lord shall inherit Judah as His share on the Holy Land, and He shall again choose Jerusalem.
(17) Silence all flesh from before the Lord, for He is aroused out of His holy habitation.

And I lifted my eyes, and I saw-and behold!-four horns. אוָֽאֶשָּׂ֥א אֶת־עֵינַ֖י וָאֵ֑רֶא וְהִנֵּ֖ה אַרְבַּ֥ע קְרָנֽוֹת:
2And I said to the angel who was speaking to me, “What are these?” And he said to me, “These are the horns that scattered Judah and Israel and Jerusalem.” בוָֽאֹמַ֕ר אֶל־הַמַּלְאָ֛ךְ הַדֹּבֵ֥ר בִּ֖י מָה־אֵ֑לֶּה וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַ֔י אֵ֚לֶּה הַקְּרָנוֹת֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר זֵר֣וּ אֶת־יְהוּדָ֔ה אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל וִירֽוּשָׁלִָֽם:
3And the Lord showed me four craftsmen. גוַיַּרְאֵ֣נִי יְהֹוָ֔ה אַרְבָּעָ֖ה חָֽרָשִֽׁים:
4And I said, “What are these coming to do?” And he said, saying, “These are the horns that scattered Judah to the extent that no man raised his head. And these came to cause them to quake, to cast away the horns of the nations that bear a horn against the land of Judah, to scatter it.” דוָֽאֹמַ֕ר מָ֛ה אֵ֥לֶּה בָאִ֖ים לַֽעֲשׂ֑וֹת וַיֹּ֣אמֶר לֵאמֹ֗ר אֵ֣לֶּה הַקְּרָנ֞וֹת אֲשֶׁר־זֵ֣רוּ אֶת־יְהוּדָ֗ה כְּפִי־אִישׁ֙ לֹֽא־נָשָׂ֣א רֹאשׁ֔וֹ וַיָּבֹ֚אוּ אֵ֙לֶּה֙ לְהַֽחֲרִ֣יד אֹתָ֔ם לְיַדּ֞וֹת אֶת־קַרְנ֣וֹת הַגּוֹיִ֗ם הַנֹּֽשְׂאִ֥ים קֶ֛רֶן אֶל־אֶ֥רֶץ יְהוּדָ֖ה לְזָרֽוֹתָֽהּ:
5And I lifted my eyes, and I saw-and behold!-a man with a measuring line in his hand. הוָֽאֶשָּׂ֥א עֵינַ֛י וָאֵ֖רֶא וְהִנֵּה־אִ֑ישׁ וּבְיָד֖וֹ חֶ֥בֶל מִדָּֽה:
6And I said, “Where are you going?” And he said to me, “To measure Jerusalem, to see how much is its breadth and how much [is] its length.” ווָֽאֹמַ֕ר אָ֖נָה אַתָּ֣ה הֹלֵ֑ךְ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַ֗י לָמֹד֙ אֶת־יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם לִרְא֥וֹת כַּמָּֽה־רָחְבָּ֖הּ וְכַמָּ֥ה אָרְכָּֽהּ:
7And behold, the angel who was speaking with me was coming forth, and another angel was coming forth toward him. זוְהִנֵּ֗ה הַמַּלְאָ֛ךְ הַדֹּבֵ֥ר בִּ֖י יֹצֵ֑א וּמַלְאָ֣ךְ אַחֵ֔ר יֹצֵ֖א לִקְרָאתֽוֹ:
8And he said to him, “Run, speak to this young man, saying: ‘Jerusalem shall be inhabited like unwalled towns, because of the multitude of men and cattle therein.’ “ חוַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלָ֔יו (כתיב אֵלָ֔ו) רֻ֗ץ דַּבֵּ֛ר אֶל־הַנַּ֥עַר הַלָּ֖ז לֵאמֹ֑ר פְּרָזוֹת֙ תֵּשֵׁ֣ב יְרֽוּשָׁלִַ֔ם מֵרֹ֥ב אָדָ֛ם וּבְהֵמָ֖ה בְּתוֹכָֽהּ:
9But I will be for it-says the Lord-a wall of fire around, and for glory I will be in its midst. טוַֽאֲנִ֚י אֶֽהְיֶה־לָּהּ֙ נְאֻם־יְהֹוָ֔ה ח֥וֹמַת אֵ֖שׁ סָבִ֑יב וּלְכָב֖וֹד אֶהְיֶ֥ה בְתוֹכָֽהּ:
10Ho, ho! Flee from the land of the north, says the Lord; for I have spread you as the four corners of the heavens, says the Lord. יה֣וֹי ה֗וֹי וְנֻ֛סוּ מֵאֶ֥רֶץ צָפ֖וֹן נְאֻם־יְהֹוָ֑ה כִּ֠י כְּאַרְבַּ֞ע רוּח֧וֹת הַשָּׁמַ֛יִם פֵּרַ֥שְׂתִּי אֶתְכֶ֖ם נְאֻם־יְהֹוָֽה:
11Ho, Zion! Flee, she who sits among the nation of Babylon. יאה֥וֹי צִיּ֖וֹן הִמָּֽלְטִ֑י יוֹשֶׁ֖בֶת בַּת־בָּבֶֽל:
12For so said the Lord of Hosts: After glory, He sent me to the nations that plunder you, for whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye. יבכִּ֣י כֹ֣ה אָמַר֘ יְהֹוָ֣ה צְבָאוֹת֒ אַחַ֣ר כָּב֔וֹד שְׁלָחַ֕נִי אֶל־הַגּוֹיִ֖ם הַשֹּֽׁלְלִ֣ים אֶתְכֶ֑ם כִּי הַנֹּגֵ֣עַ בָּכֶ֔ם נֹגֵ֖עַ בְּבָבַ֥ת עֵינֽוֹ:
13For, behold! I raise My hand over them, and they shall be prey for those who serve them. And you shall know that the Lord of Hosts sent me. יגכִּ֠י הִֽנְנִ֨י מֵנִ֚יף אֶת־יָדִי֙ עֲלֵיהֶ֔ם וְהָ֥יוּ שָׁלָ֖ל לְעַבְדֵיהֶ֑ם וִֽידַעְתֶּ֕ם כִּֽי־יְהֹוָ֥ה צְבָא֖וֹת שְׁלָחָֽנִי:
14Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion, for, behold! I will come and dwell in your midst, says the Lord. ידרָנִּ֥י וְשִׂמְחִ֖י בַּת־צִיּ֑וֹן כִּ֧י הִֽנְנִי־בָ֛א וְשָֽׁכַנְתִּ֥י בְתוֹכֵ֖ךְ נְאֻם־יְהֹוָֽה:
15And many nations shall join the Lord on that day, and they shall be My people; and I will dwell in your midst and you shall know that the Lord of Hosts sent me to you. טווְנִלְווּ֩ גוֹיִ֨ם רַבִּ֚ים אֶל־יְהֹוָה֙ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֔וּא וְהָ֥יוּ לִ֖י לְעָ֑ם וְשָׁכַנְתִּ֣י בְתוֹכֵ֔ךְ וְיָדַ֕עַתְּ כִּי־יְהֹוָ֥ה צְבָא֖וֹת שְׁלָחַ֥נִי אֵלָֽיִךְ:
16And the Lord shall inherit Judah as His share on the Holy Land, and He shall again choose Jerusalem. טזוְנָחַ֨ל יְהֹוָ֚ה אֶת־יְהוּדָה֙ חֶלְק֔וֹ עַ֖ל אַדְמַ֣ת הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ וּבָחַ֥ר ע֖וֹד בִּירֽוּשָׁלִָֽם:
17Silence all flesh from before the Lord, for He is aroused out of His holy habitation. יזהַ֥ס כָּל בָּשָׂ֖ר מִפְּנֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֑ה כִּ֥י נֵע֖וֹר מִמְּע֥וֹן קָדְשֽׁוֹ:

2(1)Levanté mis ojos y vi; he aquí cuatro cuernos, (2) Y le dije al ángel que hablaba conmigo: “¿Qué son ésos?, y me respondió: “Éstos son los cuernos que han dispersado a Judá, Israel y Jerusalem”. (3) Y me mostró el Eterno a cuatro artesanos. (4) Y yo pregunté: “¿Qué estas haciendo estos?”. Y me respondió diciendo: “Aquellos son los cuernos que dispararon a Judá de modo que nadie podía levantar su cabeza; éstos han venido para aterrarlos, para arrojar los cuernos de las naciones que levantaron su cuerno contra la tierra de Judá para dispersarla”. (5) Y yo levanté mis ojos y he aquí vi a un hombre con un cordel de medir en la mano. (6) Y pregunté: “¿Adónde vas?. Y me respondió: “A medir Jerusalem para ver cual es su ancho y cual es su largo”. (7) Y he aquí que avanzó el ángel y salió otro ángel para encontrarse con él. (8) Le dijo: “Corre, habla a este joven diciéndo: Jerusalem será habitada sin muros por la multitud de hombres y de bestias que habrá dentro. (9) Por cuanto Yo mismo, dice el Eterno seré para Jerusalem como un muro de fuego en derredor y seré la gloria en emdio de ella. (10) ¡Ay ay! Huid de la tierra del norte, dice el Eterno porque os he esparcido afuera como los cuatro vientos del cielo, dice el Eterno. (11) Escapa, oh Sión, tú que moras con las hijas de Babilonia (Bavel). (12) Porque así dice el Eterno de los Ejércitos que me mandó tras la gloria de las naciones que os despojaron. “Ciertamente el que os toque tocará la niña de su ojo. (13) Porque he aquí que sacudiré Mi mano sobre ellos y ellos serán un despojo para los que los sirvieron”. Sabréis que el Eterno de los Ejércitos me ha enviado. (14) “Canta y regocíjate, oh hija de Sión porque he aquí que vengo a morar en medio de ti, dice el Eterno, (15) y muchas naciones se unirán al Eterno en aquel día; serán Mi pueblo y Yo habitaré en medio de ti” y sabrán que el Eterno de los Ejércitos me ha enviado a ti. (16) Y el Eterno heredará a Judá como Su parte en la Tierra Santa y escogerá nuevamente a Jerusalem. (17) Que toda criatura guarde silencio ante el Eterno porque despierta ya y sale de Su santa morada.

¿Acaso esta empezando a verse el cumplimientos de estas palabras?

(14) “Canta y regocíjate, oh hija de Sión porque he aquí que vengo a morar en medio de ti, dice el Eterno, (15) y muchas naciones se unirán al Eterno en aquel día; serán Mi pueblo y Yo habitaré en medio de ti” y sabrán que el Eterno de los Ejércitos me ha enviado a ti. (16) Y el Eterno heredará a Judá como Su parte en la Tierra Santa y escogerá nuevamente a Jerusalem. (17) Que toda criatura guarde silencio ante el Eterno porque despierta ya y sale de Su santa morada.
