For the conductor, by the sons of Korah, a song. אלַֽמְנַצֵּ֬חַ | לִבְנֵי־קֹ֬רַח מִזְמֽוֹר:
2Hear this, all you peoples; hearken, all You inhabitants of the earth. בשִׁמְעוּ־זֹ֥את כָּל־הָֽעַמִּ֑ים הַֽ֜אֲזִ֗ינוּ כָּל־י֥שְׁבֵי חָֽלֶד:
3Both the sons of “adam,” and the sons of “ish,” together rich and poor. גגַּם־בְּנֵ֣י אָ֖דָם גַּם־בְּנֵי־אִ֑ישׁ יַ֜֗חַד עָשִׁ֥יר וְאֶבְיֽוֹן:
4My mouth shall speak wisdoms and the thoughts of my heart are understanding. דפִּי יְדַבֵּ֣ר חָכְמ֑וֹת וְהָג֖וּת לִבִּ֣י תְבוּנֽוֹת:
5I will bend my ear to a parable; with a lyre, I will solve my riddle. האַטֶּ֣ה לְמָשָׁ֣ל אָזְנִ֑י אֶפְתַּ֥ח בְּ֜כִנּ֗וֹר חִידָתִֽי:
6Why should I fear in days of misfortune? The iniquity of my heels surrounds me. ולָ֣מָּה אִ֖ירָא בִּ֣ימֵי רָ֑ע עֲו‍ֹ֖ן עֲקֵבַ֣י יְסוּבֵּֽנִי:
7Those who rely on their possessions and boast of their great wealth, זהַבֹּֽטְחִ֥ים עַל־חֵילָ֑ם וּבְרֹ֥ב עָ֜שְׁרָ֗ם יִתְהַלָּֽלוּ:
8-a brother cannot redeem a man, he cannot give his ransom to God. חאָ֗ח לֹֽא־פָדֹ֣ה יִפְדֶּ֣ה אִ֑ישׁ לֹֽא־יִתֵּ֖ן לֵֽאלֹהִ֣ים כָּפְרֽוֹ:
9The redemption of their soul will be too dear, and unattainable forever. טוְיֵקַ֖ר פִּדְי֥וֹן נַפְשָׁ֗ם וְחָ֘דַ֥ל לְעוֹלָֽם:
10Will he live yet forever and not see the Pit? יוִֽיחִי־ע֥וֹד לָנֶ֑צַח לֹ֖א יִרְאֶ֣ה הַשָּֽׁחַת:
11For he sees that wise men die, together a fool and a boorish man perish, and leave over their possessions to others. יאכִּ֚י יִרְאֶ֨ה | חֲכָ֘מִ֚ים יָמ֗וּתוּ יַ֚חַד כְּסִ֣יל וָבַ֣עַר יֹֽאבֵ֑דוּ וְעָֽזְב֖וּ לַֽאֲחֵרִ֣ים חֵילָֽם:
12In their heart, their houses are forever, their dwellings are for every generation; they call by their names on plots of land. יבקִרְבָּ֚ם בָּתֵּ֨ימוֹ | לְֽעוֹלָ֗ם מִ֖שְׁכְּנֹתָם לְד֣וֹר וָדֹ֑ר קָֽרְא֥וּ בִ֜שְׁמוֹתָ֗ם עֲלֵ֣י אֲדָמֽוֹת:
13But man does not repose in his glory; he is compared to the silenced animals. יגוְאָדָם בִּיקָ֣ר בַּל־יָלִ֑ין נִמְשַׁ֖ל כַּבְּהֵמ֣וֹת נִדְמֽוּ:
14This is their way; folly is theirs, and after them they will tell with their mouth forever. ידזֶ֣ה דַ֖רְכָּם כֶּ֣סֶל לָ֑מוֹ וְאַֽחֲרֵיהֶ֓ם | בְּפִיהֶ֖ם יִרְצ֣וּ סֶֽלָה:
15Like sheep, they are destined to the grave; death will devour them, and the upright will rule over them in the morning, and their form will outlast the grave as his dwelling place. טוכַּצֹּ֚אן | לִֽשְׁא֣וֹל שַׁתּוּ֘ מָ֪וֶת יִ֫רְעֵ֥ם וַיִּרְדּ֘וּ בָ֚ם יְשָׁרִ֨ים | לַבֹּ֗קֶר ֖וְצוּרָם (כתיב וְ֖ציּרָם) לְבַלּ֥וֹת שְׁא֗וֹל מִזְּבֻ֥ל לֽוֹ:
16But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave, for He shall take me forever. טזאַךְ־אֱלֹהִ֗ים יִפְדֶּה־נַ֖פְשִׁי מִיַּ֣ד שְׁא֑וֹל כִּ֖י יִקָּחֵ֣נִי סֶֽלָה:
17Fear not when a man becomes rich, when the honor of his house increases, יזאַל־תִּ֖ירָא כִּֽי־יַֽעֲשִׁ֣ר אִ֑ישׁ כִּֽי־יִ֜רְבֶּ֗ה כְּב֣וֹד בֵּיתֽוֹ:
18For he will not take anything in his death; his glory will not descend after him. יחכִּ֚י לֹ֣א בְ֖מוֹתוֹ יִקַּ֣ח הַכֹּ֑ל לֹֽא־יֵרֵ֖ד אַֽחֲרָ֣יו כְּבוֹדֽוֹ:
19Because in his lifetime he blesses himself, but [all] will praise you, for you will benefit yourself. יטכִּ֣י נַ֖פְשׁוֹ בְּחַיָּ֣יו יְבָרֵ֑ךְ וְ֜יוֹדֻ֗ךָ כִּֽי־תֵיטִ֥יב לָֽךְ:
20You shall come to the generation of his forefathers; to eternity they will not see light. כתָּבֹא עַד־דּ֣וֹר אֲבוֹתָ֑יו עַד־נֵ֜֗צַח לֹ֣א יִרְאוּ־אֽוֹר:

1A song of Asaph; God, God the Lord, spoke and called to the earth, from the rising of the sun until its setting. אמִזְמ֗וֹר לְאָ֫סָ֥ף אֵ֚ל | אֱֽלֹהִ֡ים יְהֹוָ֗ה דִּבֶּ֥ר וַיִּקְרָא־אָ֑רֶץ מִמִּזְרַח־שֶׁ֜֗מֶשׁ עַד־מְבֹאֽוֹ:
2From Zion, the finery of beauty, God appeared. במִצִּיּ֥וֹן מִכְלַל־יֹ֜֗פִי אֱלֹהִ֥ים הוֹפִֽיעַ:
3Our God shall come and not be silent; fire shall devour before Him, and around Him it storms furiously. גיָ֚בֹ֥א אֱלֹהֵ֗ינוּ וְֽאַל־יֶֽ֫חֱרָ֥שׁ אֵ֣שׁ לְפָנָ֣יו תֹּאכֵ֑ל וּ֜סְבִיבָ֗יו נִשְׂעֲרָ֥ה מְאֹֽד:
4He shall call to the heavens above and to the earth to avenge His people. דיִקְרָ֣א אֶל־הַשָּׁמַ֣יִם מֵעָ֑ל וְאֶל־הָ֜אָ֗רֶץ לָדִ֥ין עַמּֽוֹ:
5Gather to Me My devoted ones, who made a covenant with Me over a sacrifice. האִסְפוּ־לִ֥י חֲסִידָ֑י כֹּֽרְתֵ֖י בְרִיתִ֣י עֲלֵי־זָֽבַח:
6And the heavens will tell His righteousness, for He is a God Who judges forever. ווַיַּגִּ֣ידוּ שָׁמַ֣יִם צִדְק֑וֹ כִּֽי־אֱלֹהִ֓ים | שֹׁפֵ֖ט ה֣וּא סֶֽלָה:
7Hearken, My people, and I will speak, Israel, and I will admonish you; God, even your God am I. זשִׁמְעָ֚ה עַמִּ֨י | וַֽאֲדַבֵּ֗רָה יִ֖שְׂרָאֵל וְאָעִ֣ידָה בָּ֑ךְ אֱלֹהִ֖ים אֱלֹהֶ֣יךָ אָנֹֽכִי:
8I will not reprove you concerning your sacrifices, neither are your burnt offerings before Me constantly. חלֹ֣א עַל־זְ֖בָחֶיךָ אֽוֹכִיחֶ֑ךָ וְ֜עוֹלֹתֶ֖יךָ לְנֶגְדִּ֣י תָמִֽיד:
9I will not take from your household a bull, from your pens any goats. טלֹֽא־אֶקַּ֣ח מִבֵּֽיתְךָ֣ פָ֑ר מִמִּכְלְאֹתֶ֥יךָ עַתּוּדִֽים:
10For all the beasts of the forest are Mine, the behemoth of the thousand mountains. יכִּי־לִ֥י כָל־חַיְתוֹ־יָ֑עַר בְּ֜הֵמ֗וֹת בְּהַרְרֵי־אָֽלֶף:
11I know all the fowl of the mountains, and the creeping things of the field are with Me. יאיָדַעְתִּי כָּל־ע֣וֹף הָרִ֑ים וְזִ֥יז שָֹ֜דַ֗י עִמָּדִֽי:
12If I were hungry I would not tell you, for the world and its fullness are Mine. יבאִם־אֶ֖רְעַב לֹא־אֹ֣מַר לָ֑ךְ כִּי לִ֥י תֵ֜בֵ֗ל וּמְלֹאָֽהּ:
13Will I eat the flesh of bulls or do I drink the blood of he-goats? יגהַֽאוֹכַל בְּשַׂ֣ר אַבִּירִ֑ים וְדַ֖ם עַתּוּדִ֣ים אֶשְׁתֶּֽה:
14Slaughter for God a confession and pay the Most High your vows. ידזְבַ֣ח לֵאלֹהִ֣ים תּוֹדָ֑ה וְשַׁלֵּ֖ם לְעֶלְי֣וֹן נְדָרֶֽיךָ:
15And call to Me on a day of distress; I will rescue you and you will honor Me. טווּקְרָאֵנִי בְּי֣וֹם צָרָ֑ה אֲ֜חַלֶּצְךָ֗ וּֽתְכַבְּדֵֽנִי:
16But to the wicked man God said, “For what reason do you recount My statutes, and bring up My covenant on Your mouth? טזוְלָ֚רָשָׁ֨ע | אָ֘מַ֚ר אֱלֹהִ֗ים מַה־לְּ֖ךָ לְסַפֵּ֣ר חֻקָּ֑י וַתִּשָּׂ֖א בְרִיתִ֣י עֲלֵי־פִֽיךָ:
17For you hated discipline and threw My words behind you. יזוְאַתָּה שָׂנֵ֣אתָ מוּסָ֑ר וַתַּשְׁלֵ֖ךְ דְּבָרַ֣י אַֽחֲרֶֽיךָ:
18If you saw a thief, you agreed [to be] with him, and with adulterers is your portion. יחאִם־רָאִ֣יתָ גַ֖נָּב וַתִּ֣רֶץ עִמּ֑וֹ וְעִ֖ם מְנָֽאֲפִ֣ים חֶלְקֶֽךָ:
19You let loose your mouth for evil, and you accustomed your tongue to deceit. יטפִּיךָ שָׁלַ֣חְתָּ בְרָעָ֑ה וּ֜לְשֽׁוֹנְךָ֗ תַּצְמִ֥יד מִרְמָֽה:
20You sit and talk against your brother; you slander your mother’s son. כתֵּשֵׁב בְּאָחִ֣יךָ תְדַבֵּ֑ר בְּבֶן־אִ֜מְּךָ֗ תִּתֶּן־דֹּֽפִי:
21You did these and I remained silent; you thought that I would be like you. I will contend with you and set up before your eyes. כאאֵ֚לֶּה עָשִׂ֨יתָ | וְהֶֽחֱרַ֗שְׁתִּי דִּמִּ֗יתָ הֱי֣וֹת אֶֽהְיֶ֣ה כָמ֑וֹךָ אוֹכִֽיחֲךָ֖ וְאֶֽעֶרְכָ֣ה לְעֵינֶֽיךָ:
22Understand this now, you who forget God, lest I tear [you] to pieces, and there will be no one to save [you]. כבבִּֽינוּ־נָ֣א זֹ֖את שֹֽׁכְחֵ֣י אֱל֑וֹהַּ פֶּן־אֶ֜טְרֹ֗ף וְאֵ֣ין מַצִּֽיל:

Salmo 49

49(1) Para el director del coro. Salmo de los hijos de Coro.

(2) Escuchen esto todos los pueblos. presten oídos todos los habitantes del mundo, (3) los de humilde condición y los  encumbrados, los ricos y los pobres juntos. (4) Mi boca hablará sabiduría, y la meditación de mi corazón será comprensión. (5) Inclinaré mi oído a la parábola y expondré lo que tengo que decir con la lira. (6) ¿Por qué he de temer los días de calamidad, cuando la iniquidad de mis opresores me cercan? (7) ¿Temeré acaso a los que confían en sus riquezas y se jactan de la multitud de ellas? (8) Ningún hombre puede por medio alguno redimir a su hermano, ni dar a Dios rescate por él. (9) porque demasiado costosa es la redención de su alma y no se logrará jamás (10) para que pueda vivir siempre y no vea el hoyo. Los rectos tendrán dominio sobre ellos por las mañanas, y sus formas serán consumidas en el sheol, para que no haya morada para ellas.(16) Pero Dios redimirá mi alma del poder del sheol, porque me recibirá. Selá. (17)No te preocupes cuando alguien se enriquece y aumenta la gloria de su casa, (18) porque al morirse no se llevará nada. Su riqueza no descenderá con él. (19) Aunque se haya alagado toda su vida – “los hombres te alabarán cuando te hagas bien a ti mismo”-.(20) irá a la generación de sus padres. Nunca vera La Luz. (21) El hombre, por respetado que sea, no entiende el significado (de ciertas cosas). (Ante a muerte) es como la bestias que perece.

Salmo 50

Salmo de Asaf. Dios, Dios, el Eterno, ha hablado, y ha llamado a la tierra, desde la salida del sol hasta su puesta. (2) Desde Sión, la perfección de la belleza, Dios ha mostrado Su esplendor. (3) Viene nuestro Dios, y no guarda silencio. Un fuego devora ante Él, y en torno de Él hay tempestad. (4) Convoca a los cielos arriba, y a la tierra, para que pueda juzgar a Su pueblo: (5) “Reúne ante Mí a los varones piadosos, los que hicieron un Pacto conmigo por el sacrificio”. (6) Y los cielos, declaran Su justicia. Porque Dios es Juez. Selá. (7) Escucha, oh pueblo Mío, Yo hablaré, oh Israel, y testificaré contra ti, Dios, tu Dios, soy Yo. (8) No te reprobaré por tus sacrificios, ni por los holocaustos que continuamente Me ofreces, (9) pero no tomaré ningún novillo de tu casa, ni macho cabrío de tus rebaños, (10) porque cada bestia del bosque es Mía, y el ganado que pase sobre mil colinas. (11) Conozco todas las aves de las montañas, y las bestias salvajes del campo son mías. (12) Si Yo tuviese hambre no te lo diría, porque el mundo entero es Mío, y todo lo que él contiene. (13) ¿Cómo acaso la carne de los toros, o bebo la sangre de los machos cabríos? (14) Ofrece a Dios el sacrificio de la alabanza, cumple tus votos al Altísimo, (15) y llámame en el día de penurias, que Yo te libraré y tú Me honrarás”. (16) Pero al inicuo le dice Dios:”¿Quien ere4s tú para declarar Mis estatutos y tomar Mi Pacto en tu boca, (17) viendo que odias la instrucción y arrojas Mis palabras detrás de ti? (18) Cuando ves un ladrón le haces compañía, y te unes a los adúlteros. (19) Has aflojado tu boca para el mal, y tu lengua urde engaños. (20) Te sientas y hablas contra tu hermano. Calumnias al hijo de tu propia madre. (21) haboendo hecho tu tales cosas, ¿debo Yo guardar silencio? ¿Pensaste que Yo sería como tí? te reprenderé y te juzgaré delante de tus ojos. (22) Considerad esto, vosotros que olvidáis a Dios para que no os haga pedazos sin que nadie pueda libraros. (23) El que ofrece sacrificio de alabanza Me honra, y al que endereza su camino Yo le mostraré la salvación”.

SHANKSVILLE, Pennsylvania (AFP) — US President Donald Trump paid tribute Tuesday to the “heroes” who fought back against hijackers on September 11, 2001, vowing America would never flinch in the face of evil and that he would do whatever it takes to keep the country safe.

Under a grey sky in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, Trump praised the courage of the 40 men and women aboard Flight 93 who rushed the four hijackers who had diverted the plane and were targeting Washington.

“The passengers and crew members came together, took a vote, and they decided to act,” Trump said.

“They attacked the enemy. They fought until the very end. And they stopped the forces of terror and defeated this wicked, horrible, evil plan.”

Calling it “the moment when America fought back,” Trump said the fallen “took control of their destiny and changed the course of history.”

He said the “brave patriots turned the tide on our nation’s enemies and joined the immortal ranks of American heroes.”

After calling their loved ones to say final farewells, many passengers aboard Flight 93 are believed to have charged the hijackers and prevented it from striking the US capital.
