ISAÍAS 57(15)
Porque así dice el Altísimo que habita la eternidad, cuyo Nombre es sagrado: “Vivo en el lugar más alto y más santo”. Conmigo habita aquel que es de espíritu contrito y humilde, para vivificar el espíritu de los humildes y el corazón de los contritos.
ISAÍAS 57
(1) Perce el justo y nadie hace caso de ello. Los piadosos son quitados sin que nadie considere que los justos desaparecen para eludir el mal futuro.
(2) Entra en paz, reposa en su cama cada uno que anda en rectitud.
(3) Pero acercaos, hijo de la bruja, descendientes de la adultera y de la prostituta.
(4) ¿Contra quién os burláis? ¿Contra quién abrís tanto la boca y sacáis la lengua? ¿No sois acaso hijos del pecado, simiente de falsía,
(5) vosotros que os inflamáis entre los ídolos debajo de cada árbol frondoso, que matáis a los niños en los valles debajo de las hendiduras de las rocas?
(6) Entre las piedras lisas del valle está vuestra porción. Son vuestra parte. Hasta a ellas brindas libaciones y ofrendas vegetales. ¿Debo quedarme tranquilo por esas cosas?
(7) Sobre una montaña alta, muy alta, has puesto tu cama. Allí tambien subiste para ofrecer sacrificios.
(8) Y detrás de las puertas y de los postes, has colocado tu símbolo y lo has descubierto alejándote de Mí. Has extendido tu cama y has hecho un pacto con ellos. Amaste la cama de ellos y compartiste su lecho;
(9) fuiste al rey con óleo y aumentastes tus perfumes; mandaste a tus embajadores muy lejos, hasta el sheol.
(10) Te cansaste por el largo camino tuyo y te dijiste: “No hay esperanza”, pero como hallaste un renuevo de tu fortaleza, no fuiste afectado.
(11) ¿Y de quien tuviste miedo y temíste que caerías? En cuanto a Mí, no Me has recordado ni considerado en tu corazón. ¿No he guardado acaso silencio durante largo tiempo? Por eso no Me temes.
(12) Declaré tu justicia y también tus obras, que no te aprovecharán.
(13) Cuando clames, libremente los que tu has recogido. Pero el viento se los llevará. Los aventará una ráfaga, pero el que se refugia en Mí poseerá la tierra y heredará Mi santa montaña.
(14) y Él dirá: “Abrid paso, abrid paso, despejad el camino. Quitad los obstáculos del camino de Mi pueblo”.
(15) Porque así dice el Altísimo que habita la eternidad, cuyo Nombre es sagrado: “Vivo en el lugar más alto y más santo”. Conmigo habita aquel que es de espíritu contrito y humilde, para vivificar el espíritu de los humildes y el corazón de los contritos.
(16) En verdad, no contenderé para siempre, ni estaré siempre airado porque todo espíritu y todas las almas que he hecho sucumbirán ante Mí.
(17) Por la iniquidad de la codicia del malvado me indigne y le castigué. Oculte mi enojo y él siguió perversamente en el camino de su corazón.
(18) Yo he visto los caminos del justo y lo sanaré. También lo conduciré y lo consolaré a él y a sus dolientes.
(19) Paz, paz a los que están lejos y al que está cerca, dice el Eterno que crea el fruto de los labios; Yo lo curaré.
(20) pero los malvados son como el mar agitado porque no tiene reposo y sus aguas arrastran lodo y miseria.
(21) No hay paz, dice Dios con respecto a los impíos.
Yeshayahu – Isaiah – Chapter 57
| 1 The righteous man has perished, but no one takes it to heart, and men of kindness are taken away, with no one understanding that because of the evil the righteous man has been taken away. | אהַצַּדִ֣יק אָבָ֔ד וְאֵ֥ין אִ֖ישׁ שָׂ֣ם עַל־לֵ֑ב וְאַנְשֵׁי־חֶ֚סֶד נֶֽאֱסָפִים֙ בְּאֵ֣ין מֵבִ֔ין כִּֽי־מִפְּנֵ֥י הָֽרָעָ֖ה נֶֽאֱסַ֥ף הַצַּדִּֽיק: | |
| 2 He shall come in peace; they shall rest in their resting- place, whoever walks in his uprightness. | ביָב֣וֹא שָׁל֔וֹם יָנ֖וּחוּ עַל־מִשְׁכְּבוֹתָ֑ם הֹלֵ֖ךְ נְכֹחֽוֹ: | |
| 3 And you, draw near hither, children of sorcery; children who commit adultery, and played the whore. | גוְאַתֶּ֥ם קִרְבוּ־הֵ֖נָּה בְּנֵ֣י עֹֽנְנָ֑ה זֶ֥רַע מְנָאֵ֖ף וַתִּזְנֶֽה: | |
| 4 On whom will you [rely to] enjoy yourselves; against whom do you open your mouth wide; against whom do you stick out your tongue? Are you not children of transgression, seed of falsehood? | דעַל־מִי֙ תִּתְעַנָּ֔גוּ עַל־מִ֛י תַּרְחִ֥יבוּ פֶ֖ה תַּֽאֲרִ֣יכוּ לָשׁ֑וֹן הֲלֽוֹא־אַתֶּ֥ם יִלְדֵי־פֶ֖שַׁע זֶ֥רַע שָֽׁקֶר: | |
| 5 You who inflame yourselves among the terebinths, under every green tree, who slaughter the children in the valleys, under the clefts of the rocks. | ההַנֵּֽחָמִים֙ בָּֽאֵלִ֔ים תַּ֖חַת כָּל־עֵ֣ץ רַֽעֲנָ֑ן שֹֽׁחֲטֵ֚י הַיְלָדִים֙ בַּנְּחָלִ֔ים תַּ֖חַת סְעִפֵ֥י הַסְּלָעִֽים: | |
| 6 Of the smooth [stones] of the valley is your portion; they, they are your lot; to them too you have poured out libations, offered up sacrifices; in the face of these shall I relent? | ובְּחַלְּקֵי־נַ֣חַל חֶלְקֵ֔ךְ הֵ֥ם הֵ֖ם גּֽוֹרָלֵ֑ךְ גַּם־לָהֶ֞ם שָׁפַ֥כְתְּ נֶ֙סֶךְ֙ הֶעֱלִ֣ית מִנְחָ֔ה הַ֥עַל אֵ֖לֶּה אֶנָּחֵֽם: | |
| 7 On a high and lofty mountain you placed your couch; there too you went to slaughter sacrifices. | זעַ֚ל הַר־גָּבֹ֙הַּ֙ וְנִשָּׂ֔א שַׂ֖מְתְּ מִשְׁכָּבֵ֑ךְ גַּם־שָׁ֥ם עָלִ֖ית לִזְבֹּ֥חַ זָֽבַח: | |
| 8 And behind the door and the doorpost you have directed your thoughts, for while with Me, you uncovered [us] and went up, you widened your couch and made for yourself [a covenant] with them; you loved their couch, you chose a place. | חוְאַחַ֚ר הַדֶּ֙לֶת֙ וְהַמְּזוּזָ֔ה שַֹ֖מְתְּ זִכְרוֹנֵ֑ךְ כִּ֣י מֵֽאִתִּ֞י גִּלִּ֣ית וַתַּֽעֲלִ֗י הִרְחַ֚בְתְּ מִשְׁכָּבֵךְ֙ וַתִּכְרָת־לָ֣ךְ מֵהֶ֔ם אָהַ֥בְתְּ מִשְׁכָּבָ֖ם יָ֥ד חָזִֽית: | |
| 9 And you brought a gift to the king with oil, and you increased your perfumes; and you sent your ambassadors far off, and you humbled them to the grave. | טוַתָּשֻׁ֚רִי לַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ בַּשֶּׁ֔מֶן וַתַּרְבִּ֖י רִקֻּחָ֑יִךְ וַתְּשַׁלְּחִ֚י צִירַ֙יִךְ֙ עַד־מֵ֣רָחֹ֔ק וַתַּשְׁפִּ֖ילִי עַד־שְׁאֽוֹל: | |
| 10 With the length of your way you became wearied; you did not say, “Despair.” The power of your hand you found; therefore, you were not stricken ill. | יבְּרֹ֚ב דַּרְכֵּךְ֙ יָגַ֔עַתְּ לֹ֥א אָמַ֖רְתְּ נוֹאָ֑שׁ חַיַּ֚ת יָדֵךְ֙ מָצָ֔את עַל־כֵּ֖ן לֹ֥א חָלִֽית: | |
| 11 And whom did you dread and fear, that you failed, and you did not remember Me; you did not lay [Me] to your heart. Indeed, I am silent and from everlasting, but you do not fear Me. | יאוְאֶת־מִ֞י דָּאַ֚גְתְּ וַתִּֽירְאִי֙ כִּ֣י תְכַזֵּ֔בִי וְאוֹתִי֙ לֹ֣א זָכַ֔רְתְּ לֹא־שַׂ֖מְתְּ עַל־לִבֵּ֑ךְ הֲלֹ֨א אֲנִ֚י מַחְשֶׁה֙ וּמֵ֣עֹלָ֔ם וְאוֹתִ֖י לֹ֥א תִירָֽאִי: | |
| 12 I tell your righteousness and your deeds, and they shall not avail you. | יבאֲנִ֥י אַגִּ֖יד צִדְקָתֵ֑ךְ וְאֶת־מַֽעֲשַׂ֖יִךְ וְלֹ֥א יֽוֹעִילֽוּךְ: | |
| 13 When you cry out, let your collections save you; wind shall carry all of them off, a breath shall take them, but he who trusts in Me shall inherit the land and shall inherit My holy mount. | יגבְּזַֽעֲקֵךְ֙ יַצִּילֻ֣ךְ קִבּוּצַ֔יִךְ וְאֶת־כֻּלָּ֥ם יִשָּׂא־ר֖וּחַ יִקַּח־הָ֑בֶל וְהַחוֹסֶ֥ה בִי֙ יִנְחַל־אֶ֔רֶץ וְיִירַ֖שׁ הַר־קָדְשִֽׁי: | |
| 14 And he shall say, “Pave, pave, clear the way; remove the obstacles from the way of My people.” | ידוְאָמַ֥ר סֹֽלּוּ־סֹ֖לּוּ פַּנּוּ־דָ֑רֶךְ הָרִ֥ימוּ מִכְשׁ֖וֹל מִדֶּ֥רֶךְ עַמִּֽי: | |
| 15 For so said the High and Exalted One, Who dwells to eternity, and His name is Holy, “With the lofty and the holy ones I dwell, and with the crushed and humble in spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble and to revive the heart of the crushed. | טוכִּי֩ כֹ֨ה אָמַ֜ר רָ֣ם וְנִשָּׂ֗א שֹׁכֵ֥ן עַד֙ וְקָד֣וֹשׁ שְׁמ֔וֹ מָר֥וֹם וְקָד֖וֹשׁ אֶשְׁכּ֑וֹן וְאֶת־דַּכָּא֙ וּשְׁפַל־ר֔וּחַ לְהַֽחֲיוֹת֙ ר֣וּחַ שְׁפָלִ֔ים וּלְהַֽחֲי֖וֹת לֵ֥ב נִדְכָּאִֽים: | |
| 16 For I will not contend forever, neither will I be wroth to eternity, when a spirit from before Me humbles itself, and souls [which] I have made. | טזכִּ֣י לֹ֚א לְעוֹלָם֙ אָרִ֔יב וְלֹ֥א לָנֶ֖צַח אֶקְּצ֑וֹף כִּי־ר֙וּחַ֙ מִלְּפָנַ֣י יַֽעֲט֔וֹף וּנְשָׁמ֖וֹת אֲנִ֥י עָשִֽׂיתִי: | |
| 17 For the iniquity of his thievery I became wroth, and I smote him, I hid Myself and became wroth, for he went rebelliously in the way of his heart. | יזבַּֽעֲוֹ֥ן בִּצְע֛וֹ קָצַ֥פְתִּי וְאַכֵּ֖הוּ הַסְתֵּ֣ר וְאֶקְצֹ֑ף וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ שׁוֹבָ֖ב בְּדֶ֥רֶךְ לִבּֽוֹ: | |
| 18 I saw his ways and I will heal him, and I will lead him and requite with consolations him and his mourners. | יחדְּרָכָ֥יו רָאִ֖יתִי וְאֶרְפָּאֵ֑הוּ וְאַנְחֵ֕הוּ וַֽאֲשַׁלֵּ֧ם נִחֻמִ֛ים ל֖וֹ וְלַֽאֲבֵלָֽיו: | |
| 19 [I] create the speech of the lips; peace, peace to the far and to the near,” says the Lord, “and I will heal him.” | יטבּוֹרֵ֖א נִ֣יב (כתיב נִ֣וב) שְׂפָתָ֑יִם שָׁל֨וֹם | שָׁל֜וֹם לָֽרָח֧וֹק וְלַקָּר֛וֹב אָמַ֥ר יְהֹוָ֖ה וּרְפָאתִֽיו: | |
| 20 But the wicked are like the turbulent sea, for it cannot rest, and its waters cast up mud and dirt. | כוְהָֽרְשָׁעִ֖ים כַּיָּ֣ם נִגְרָ֑שׁ כִּ֚י הַשְׁקֵט֙ לֹ֣א יוּכָ֔ל וַיִּגְרְשׁ֥וּ מֵימָ֖יו רֶ֥פֶשׁ וָטִֽיט: | |
| 21 “There is no peace,” says my God, “for the wicked.” | כאאֵ֣ין שָׁל֔וֹם אָמַ֥ר אֱלֹהַ֖י לָֽרְשָׁעִֽים: |
