“Israel did not come out of Egypt until the government of all their ministers was broken above.” This is called all of the ten Klipot (shells/peels), the ten plagues by which Egypt is broken. “And Israel departed their domain and came to the domain of the upper holiness,” called “bestowal,” “love of others, “in the Creator, and tied to Him … that, ‘I brought [them] out from the land of Egypt’; I have brought them out of the other authority and brought them into My authority.”

Exodus 10:1–13:16
The name of the Parshah, “Bo,” means “Come [to Pharaoh]” and it is found in Exodus 10:1.

The last three of the Ten Plagues are visited on Egypt: a swarm of locusts devours all the crops and greenery; a thick, palpable darkness envelops the land; and all the firstborn of Egypt are killed at the stroke of midnight of the 15th of the month of Nissan.

10 Be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am in distress; my eye is dimmed from anger, my soul and my belly.		יחָנֵּ֥נִי יְהֹוָה֘ כִּ֪י צַ֫ר לִ֥י עָֽשְׁשָׁ֖ה בְכַ֣עַס עֵינִ֑י נַ֜פְשִׁ֗י וּבִטְנִֽי:
11 For my life is spent in grief and my years in sighing; my strength has failed because of my iniquity, and my bones have decayed.		יאכִּ֚י כָל֪וּ בְיָג֡וֹן חַיַּ֘י וּשְׁנוֹתַ֪י בַּֽאֲנָ֫חָ֥ה כָּשַׁ֣ל בַּֽעֲו‍ֹנִ֣י כֹחִ֑י וַֽעֲצָמַ֥י עָשֵֽׁשׁוּ:

20 How great is Your goodness that You have laid away for those who fear You, that You have worked for those who take refuge in You, in the presence of the sons of men!		כמָ֚ה רַ֥ב טֽוּבְךָ֘ אֲשֶׁר־צָפַ֪נְתָּ לִּֽירֵ֫אֶ֥יךָ פָּ֖עַלְתָּ לַחוֹסִ֣ים בָּ֑ךְ נֶ֜֗גֶד בְּנֵ֣י אָדָֽם:
21You shall hide them in the secrecy of Your countenance, from bands of men; protect them in a shelter from the strife of tongues.		כאתַּסְתִּירֵ֚ם בְּסֵ֥תֶר פָּנֶיךָ֘ מֵֽרֻכְסֵ֪֫י אִ֥ישׁ תִּצְפְּנֵ֥ם בְּ֜סֻכָּ֗ה מֵרִ֥יב לְשֹׁנֽוֹת:

3 Mientras estuve en silencio, mis huesos se descompusieron en mi gemir todo el día.

4 Porque de día y de noche tu mano se agravó sobre mí; mi frescura se transformó como en las sequías del verano, para siempre.

5 Quisiera informarte de mi pecado, y no oculté mi iniquidad; Dije: “Confesaré mis transgresiones al Señor”, y Tú perdonaste la iniquidad de mi pecado para siempre.

6 Por esto, que todo hombre piadoso te pida en el momento en que te encuentren, solo por una inundación de vastas aguas [que] no deberían alcanzarlo.

1Sing praises to the Lord, O you righteous; for the upright, praise is fitting.		ארַֽנְּנ֣וּ צַ֖דִּיקִים בַּֽיהֹוָ֑ה לַ֜יְשָׁרִ֗ים נָאוָ֥ה תְהִלָּֽה:
2Give thanks to the Lord with a harp; with a lyre of ten melodies make music to Him.		בהוֹד֣וּ לַֽיהֹוָ֣ה בְּכִנּ֑וֹר בְּנֵ֥בֶל עָ֜שׂ֗וֹר זַמְּרוּ־לֽוֹ:
3Sing to Him a new song; play well with joyful shouting.		גשִׁ֣ירוּ ל֖וֹ שִׁ֣יר חָדָ֑שׁ הֵיטִ֥יבוּ נַ֜גֵּ֗ן בִּתְרוּעָֽה:
4For the word of the Lord is upright, and all his deeds are with faith.		דכִּֽי־יָשָׁ֥ר דְּבַר־יְהֹוָ֑ה וְכָל־מַֽ֜עֲשֵׂ֗הוּ בֶּֽאֱמוּנָֽה:
5He loves charity and justice; the earth is full of the Lord’s kindness.		האֹהֵֽב צְדָקָ֣ה וּמִשְׁפָּ֑ט חֶ֥סֶד יְ֜הֹוָ֗ה מָֽלְאָ֥ה הָאָֽרֶץ:
6By the word of the Lord, the heavens were made, and with the breath of His mouth, all their host.		ובִּדְבַ֣ר יְ֖הֹוָה שָׁמַ֣יִם נַֽעֲשׂ֑וּ וּבְר֥וּחַ פִּ֜֗יו כָּל־צְבָאָֽם:
7He gathers in the water of the sea as a mound; He puts the deeps into treasuries.		זכֹּנֵ֣ס כַּ֖נֵּד מֵ֣י הַיָּ֑ם נֹתֵ֖ן בְּאֹצָר֣וֹת תְּהוֹמֽוֹת:
8Let all the earth fear the Lord; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.		חיִֽירְא֣וּ מֵֽ֖יהֹוָה כָּל־הָאָ֑רֶץ מִמֶּ֥נּוּ יָ֜ג֗וּרוּ כָּל־יֹֽשְׁבֵ֥י תֵבֵֽל:
9For He said and it came about; He commanded and it endured.		טכִּ֚י ה֣וּא אָמַ֣ר וַיֶּ֑הִי הֽוּא־צִ֜וָּ֗ה וַֽיַּֽעֲמֹֽד:
10The Lord frustrated the counsel of nations; He put the plans of peoples to nought.		ייְהֹוָ֗ה הֵ֖פִיר עֲצַ֣ת גּוֹיִ֑ם הֵ֜נִ֗יא מַחְשְׁב֥וֹת עַמִּֽים:
11The counsel of the Lord shall endure forever; the plans of His heart to all generations.		יאעֲצַ֣ת יְ֖הֹוָה לְעוֹלָ֣ם תַּֽעֲמֹ֑ד מַחְשְׁב֥וֹת לִ֜בּ֗וֹ לְדֹ֣ר וָדֹֽר:
12Praiseworthy is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people that He chose as His inheritance.		יבאַשְׁרֵ֣י הַ֖גּוֹי אֲשֶׁר־יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהָ֑יו הָעָ֓ם | בָּחַ֖ר לְנַֽחֲלָ֣ה לֽוֹ:
13The Lord looked from heaven; He saw all the sons of men.		יגמִשָּׁמַיִם הִבִּ֣יט יְהֹוָ֑ה רָ֜אָ֗ה אֶת־כָּל־בְּנֵ֥י הָאָדָֽם:
14From His dwelling place He oversees all the inhabitants of the earth.		ידמִֽמְּכֽוֹן־שִׁבְתּ֥וֹ הִשְׁגִּ֑יחַ אֶ֖ל כָּל־יֹֽשְׁבֵ֣י הָאָֽרֶץ:
15He Who forms their hearts together, Who understands all their deeds.		טוהַיֹּצֵ֣ר יַ֣חַד לִבָּ֑ם הַ֜מֵּבִ֗ין אֶל־כָּל־מַֽעֲשֵׂיהֶֽם:
16The king is not saved with a vast army; a mighty man will not be rescued with great strength.		טזאֵ֣ין הַ֖מֶּלֶךְ נוֹשָׁ֣ע בְּרָב־חָ֑יִל גִּ֜בּ֗וֹר לֹֽא־יִנָּצֵ֥ל בְּרָב־כֹּֽחַ:
17A horse is a false hope for victory, and with his power, he will not escape.		יזשֶׁ֣קֶר הַ֖סּוּס לִתְשׁוּעָ֑ה וּבְרֹ֥ב חֵ֜יל֗וֹ לֹ֣א יְמַלֵּֽט:
18Behold the eye of the Lord is to those who fear Him, to those who hope for His kindness,		יחהִנֵּ֚ה עֵ֣ין יְ֖הֹוָה אֶל־יְרֵאָ֑יו לַֽמְיַֽחֲלִ֥ים לְחַסְדּֽוֹ:
19to rescue their soul from death and to sustain them in famine.		יטלְהַצִּ֣יל מִמָּ֣וֶת נַפְשָׁ֑ם וּלְחַיּוֹתָ֥ם בָּֽרָעָֽב:
20Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield.		כנַפְשֵׁנוּ חִכְּתָ֣ה לַֽיהֹוָ֑ה עֶזְרֵ֖נוּ וּמָֽגִנֵּ֣נוּ הֽוּא:
21For our heart will rejoice in Him, because we hoped in His holy name.		כאכִּי־ב֖וֹ יִשְׂמַ֣ח לִבֵּ֑נוּ כִּ֚י בְשֵׁ֖ם קָדְשׁ֣וֹ בָטָֽחְנוּ:
22May Your kindness, O Lord, be upon us, as we hoped for You.		כביְהִי־חַסְדְּךָ֣ יְהֹוָ֣ה עָלֵ֑ינוּ כַּֽ֜אֲשֶׁ֗ר יִחַ֥לְנוּ לָֽךְ:

1 Cantad al Señor, oh justos; para los rectos, la alabanza es adecuada.

2 Dad gracias al Señor con arpa; con una lira de diez melodías pónganle música.

3 Cantadle cántico nuevo; cantarr bien con gritos de alegría.

4 Porque la palabra del Señor es recta, y todas sus obras son con fidelidad.

5 Ama la caridad y la justicia; la tierra está llena de la bondad del Señor.

6 Por la palabra de Señor fueron hechos los cielos, Y con el soplo de Su boca, todo el ejército de ellos.

18 He aquí, el ojo del Señor es para los que le temen, para los que esperan en su bondad,

19 para librar su alma de la muerte y sustentarlos en el hambre.

20 Nuestra alma espera en el Señor; Él es nuestra ayuda y nuestro escudo.

1 Of David, when he disguised his sanity before Abimelech, whereupon he drove him out and he departed.		אלְדָוִ֗ד בְּשַׁנּוֹת֣וֹ אֶת־טַ֖עְמוֹ לִפְנֵ֣י אֲבִימֶ֑לֶךְ וַֽ֜יְגָֽרְשֵׁ֗הוּ וַיֵּלַֽךְ:
2 I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise is always in my mouth.		באֲבָֽרְכָ֣ה אֶת־יְהֹוָ֣ה בְּכָל־עֵ֑ת תָּ֜מִ֗יד תְּֽהִלָּ֘ת֥וֹ בְּפִֽי:

5 I sought the Lord and He answered me, and He delivered me from all my terrors.		הדָּרַ֣שְׁתִּי אֶת־יְהֹוָ֣ה וְעָנָ֑נִי וּמִכָּל־מְ֜גֽוּרוֹתַ֗י הִצִּילָֽנִי:
6 They looked to Him and they became radiant, and their faces will not be ashamed.		והִבִּ֣יטוּ אֵלָ֣יו וְנָהָ֑רוּ וּ֜פְנֵיהֶ֗ם אַל־יֶחְפָּֽרוּ:
7 This poor man called and the Lord heard, and He saved him from all his troubles.		זזֶ֚ה עָנִ֣י קָ֖רָא וַֽיהֹוָ֣ה שָׁמֵ֑עַ וּמִכָּל־צָ֜רוֹתָ֗יו הֽוֹשִׁיעֽוֹ:
8 An angel of the Lord is stationed around those who fear Him, and He saved them.		חחֹנֶ֚ה מַלְאַךְ־יְהֹוָ֓ה סָ֘בִ֚יב לִֽ֜ירֵאָ֗יו וַֽיְחַלְּצֵֽם:
9 Comprehend and see that the Lord is good; praiseworthy is the man who takes shelter in Him.		טטַֽעֲמ֣וּ וּ֖רְאוּ כִּי־ט֣וֹב יְהֹוָ֑ה אַשְׁרֵ֥י הַ֜גֶּ֗בֶר יֶחֱסֶה־בּֽוֹ:
10 Fear the Lord, His holy ones; for there is no want to those who fear Him.		ייְר֣אוּ אֶת־יְהֹוָ֣ה קְדֹשָׁ֑יו כִּ֘י אֵ֥ין מַ֜חְס֗וֹר לִֽירֵאָֽיו:
11Young lions suffer want and are hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good.		יאכְּפִירִים רָשׁ֣וּ וְרָעֵ֑בוּ וְדֹֽרְשֵׁ֥י יְ֜הֹוָ֗ה לֹֽא־יַחְסְר֥וּ כָל־טֽוֹב:
12 Come, children, hearken to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord.		יבלְכֽוּ־בָ֖נִים שִׁמְעוּ־לִ֑י יִרְאַ֥ת יְ֜הֹוָ֗ה אֲלַמֶּדְכֶֽם:
13 Who is the man who desires life, who loves days to see goodness?		יגמִֽי־הָ֖אִישׁ הֶֽחָפֵ֣ץ חַיִּ֑ים אֹ֘הֵ֥ב יָ֜מִ֗ים לִרְא֥וֹת טֽוֹב:
14 Guard your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceitfully.		ידנְצֹ֣ר לְשֽׁוֹנְךָ֣ מֵרָ֑ע וּ֜שְׂפָתֶ֗יךָ מִדַּבֵּ֥ר מִרְמָֽה:
15 Shun evil and do good, seek peace and pursue it.		טוס֣וּר מֵ֖רָע וַֽעֲשֵׂה־ט֑וֹב בַּקֵּ֖שׁ שָׁל֣וֹם וְרָדְפֵֽהוּ:
16 The eyes of the Lord are to the righteous, and His ears are to their cry.		טזעֵינֵ֣י יְ֖הֹוָה אֶל־צַדִּיקִ֑ים וְ֜אָזְנָ֗יו אֶל־שַׁוְעָתָֽם:
17 The face of the Lord is against evildoers, to cut off their remembrance from the earth.		יזפְּנֵ֣י יְ֖הֹוָה בְּעֹ֣שֵׂי רָ֑ע לְהַכְרִ֖ית מֵאֶ֣רֶץ זִכְרָֽם:
18 They cry out and the Lord hearkens, and He saves them from all their troubles.		יחצָֽעֲקוּ וַיהֹוָ֣ה שָׁמֵ֑עַ וּמִכָּל־צָֽ֜רוֹתָ֗ם הִצִּילָֽם:
19 The Lord is near to the broken-hearted, and He saves those of crushed spirit.		יטקָר֣וֹב יְ֖הֹוָה לְנִשְׁבְּרֵי־לֵ֑ב וְאֶת־דַּכְּאֵי־ר֥וּחַ יוֹשִֽׁיעַ:
20 Many evils befall the righteous, but the Lord saves him from them all.		כרַבּוֹת רָע֣וֹת צַדִּ֑יק וּ֜מִכֻּלָּ֗ם יַצִּילֶ֥נּוּ יְהֹוָֽה:

1 De David, cuando disfrazó su cordura delante de Abimelec, con lo cual lo expulsó y se fue.

2 Bendeciré al Señor en todo tiempo; Su alabanza está siempre en mi boca.
3 Mi alma se gloria en el Señor; que los humildes oigan y se alegren.

4 Proclamad conmigo la grandeza del Señor, y exaltemos a una Su nombre.

5 Busqué al Señor y Él me respondió, y me libró de todos mis enemigos.

6 Los que miraron a Él fueron alumbrados y sus rostros no fueron avergonzados.

Preparandonos para Recibir Shabbat

 

“Le nace un niño a Yocheved, la hija de Levi, y su esposo, Amram”.

Como sabemos por la narración, cuando sintió que ya no podía esconder a su bebé, Yocheved entregó a su hijo pequeño a la Divina Providencia colocando a Moisés en el río Nilo dentro de una canasta impermeable. Mientras Miriam miraba desde la distancia, ocurrió un hecho asombroso. Aparecieron la hija de Faraón y sus siervas. En un giro impredecible de los acontecimientos, la hija de Faraón rescató al bebé hebreo. Lo llamo Moises.

 

“A boy is born to Yocheved, the daughter of Levi, and her husband, Amram.”

As we know from the narrative, when she felt that she could no longer hide the baby from her, Yocheved handed over her youngest son to Divine Providence by placing Moses in the Nile River inside a waterproof basket. As Miriam watched from a distance, an amazing event occurred. Pharaoh’s daughter and her maidservants appeared. In an unpredictable turn of events, Pharaoh’s daughter rescued the Hebrew baby.

 

Salmo 97

(1) El Eterno reina. Regocíjese la tierra. Alégrese la multitud de las islas.

(2) Nubes y tinieblas hay alrededor de Él. La rectitud y la justicia son el basamento de Su trono.

(3) Un fuego va delante de Él, y quema a Sus adversarios en derredor.

(4) Sus relámpagos iluminaron el mundo. La tierra los vio y tembló.

(5) Las montañas se derritieron como cera ante la Presencia del Eterno, ante al Presencia del Señor de toda la tierra.

(6) Los cielos declaraban Su justicia, y todos los pueblos vieron Su gloria.

(7) Avergonzados sean todos los que adoran imágenes esculpidas, que se jactan de cosas de nada. Inclínense ante Él todos los dioses.

(8) Sión se alegró, y las hijas de Judá se alborozaron, por causa de Tus juicios, oh Eterno.

(9) Porque Tú, oh Eterno, eres el más alto sobre toda la tierra. Tú eres exaltado mucho más alto que todos los dioses.

(10) Vosotros que amáis al Eterno, odiad el mal. Él preserva las almas de Sus fieles librándolos de la mano de los malvados. (11) Para los justos se difundió la luz, y la alegría para los rectos de corazón. (12) Alegraos en el Eterno, oh justos, y alabad Su santo Nombre.

Salmo 98

(1) Cantad al Eterno un nuevo cántico, porque Él ha hecho cosas maravillosas. Su diestra y Su santo brazo obraron salvación de Su parte.

(2) El Eterno ha dado a conocer Su salvación. Su justicia ha revelado Él ante la vista de las naciones.

(3) Él se ha acordado de Su misericordia y de Su fidelidad hacia la casa de Israel . Todos los confines de la tierra han visto la salvación de nuestro Dios.

(4) Gritad jubilosamente al Eterno, toda la tierra. Prorrumpir en alabanzas y cantad vuestra alegría.

(5) Cantad alabanzas al Eterno con la lira. Con la lira y la voz de salmodia. (6) Con trompetas y el son de la corneta aclamad al Rey, el Eterno.

(7) Ruja el mar y todo lo que él contiene; el mundo, y todo lo que en él mora. (8) Batan las manos los torrentes y canten jubilosamente las montañas

(9) ante el Eterno, porque Él ha venido para juzgar la tierra. Juzgará al mundo con justicia, y a los pueblos con equidad.

Salmo 99

(1) El Eterno reina. ¡Tiemblen los pueblos! Él está entronizado sobre los querubines. Estremézcase la tierra.

(2) Grande es el Eterno en Sión, y está sobre todos los pueblos. Santo es.

(4) (Su fuerza es) la fuerza del Rey que ama la justicia . Tú has establecido la equidad. Tú has ejecutado justicia y actitud en Jacob.

(5) Exaltad al Eterno nuestro Dios, y prosternaos ante Su escabel. Santo es.

(6) Moisés y Aaron entre Sus sacerdotes, y Samuel (Shmuel) entre los que invocan Su nombre, llamaron al Eterno, y Él les respondió.

(7) Les habló en la columna de nube. Ellos guardaron Sus testimonios, y el estatuto que Él les dio.

(8) ¡Oh Eterno, Dios nuestro! Tú les respondiste. Dios compasivo fuiste Tú para ellos, aunque Te tomaste venganza cuando se descarriaron.

(9) Exaltad al Eterno nuestro Dios, y adoradle en Su santo monte, porque el Eterno nuestro Dios es santo.

Salmo 100

Salmo de alabanza. Gritad jubilosamente al Eterno, toda la tierra.

(2) Servid al Eterno con alegría. Presentaos ante Su presencia cantando.

(3)Sabed que el Eterno es Dios, El que nos hizo, y nosotros somos Suyos, Su pueblo, y el rebaño de Su dehesa.

(4)Entrad por Sus portones con agradecimiento, y penetrad en Sus atrios con alabanzas. Alabadle y bendecid Su Nombre, (5) porque el Eterno es benevolente. Su misericordia perdura para siempre, y Su fidelidad se mantiene para todas las generaciones.

1 The Lord has reigned, the earth will exult; many islands will rejoice.		איְהֹוָ֣ה מָ֖לָךְ תָּגֵ֣ל הָאָ֑רֶץ יִ֜שְׂמְח֗וּ אִיִּ֥ים רַבִּֽים:
2 Cloud and thick darkness are around Him; righteousness and judgment are the foundation of His throne.		בעָנָ֣ן וַֽעֲרָפֶ֣ל סְבִיבָ֑יו צֶ֥דֶק וּ֜מִשְׁפָּ֗ט מְכ֣וֹן כִּסְאֽוֹ:

10 You who love the Lord, hate evil; He watches the souls of His pious ones, He rescues them from the hands of the wicked.		יאֹֽהֲבֵ֥י יְהֹוָ֗ה שִׂנְא֫וּ רָ֥ע שֹׁ֖מֵר נַפְשׁ֣וֹת חֲסִידָ֑יו מִיַּ֥ד רְ֜שָׁעִ֗ים יַצִּילֵֽם:
11 A light is sown for the righteous, and for the upright of heart, joy.		יאא֖וֹר זָרֻ֣עַ לַצַּדִּ֑יק וּלְיִשְׁרֵי־לֵ֥ב שִׂמְחָֽה:
12Rejoice, you righteous, with the Lord, and give thanks to His holy name.		יבשִׂמְח֣וּ צַ֖דִּיקִים בַּֽיהֹוָ֑ה וְ֜הוֹד֗וּ לְזֵ֣כֶר קָדְשֽׁוֹ:

Tehillim – Psalms – Chapter 98

1 A song. Sing to the Lord a new song, for He performed wonders; His right hand and His holy arm have saved Him.		אמִזְמ֡וֹר שִׁ֚ירוּ לַֽיהֹוָ֨ה | שִׁ֥יר חָדָ֗שׁ כִּֽי־נִפְלָא֥וֹת עָשָׂ֑ה הוֹשִֽׁיעָה־לּ֥וֹ יְ֜מִינ֗וֹ וּזְר֥וֹעַ קָדְשֽׁוֹ:
2 The Lord has made known His salvation; to the eyes of the nations He has revealed His righteousness.		בהוֹדִ֣יעַ יְ֖הֹוָה יְשֽׁוּעָת֑וֹ לְעֵינֵ֥י הַ֜גּוֹיִ֗ם גִּלָּ֥ה צִדְקָתֽוֹ:
3 He remembered His kindness and His faith to the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.		גזָ֘כַ֚ר חַסְדּ֨וֹ | וֶֽאֱמֽוּנָתוֹ֘ לְבֵ֪ית יִשְׂרָ֫אֵ֥ל רָא֥וּ כָל־אַפְסֵי־אָ֑רֶץ אֵ֜֗ת יְשׁוּעַ֥ת אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ:
4 Shout to the Lord, all the earth, open [your mouths] and sing praises and play music.		דהָרִ֣יעוּ לַֽ֖יהֹוָה כָּל־הָאָ֑רֶץ פִּצְח֖וּ וְרַנְּנ֣וּ וְזַמֵּֽרוּ:
5 Play to the Lord with a harp, with a harp and a voice of song.		הזַמְּר֣וּ לַֽיהֹוָ֣ה בְּכִנּ֑וֹר בְּ֜כִנּ֗וֹר וְק֣וֹל זִמְרָֽה:
6 With trumpets and the sound of a shofar, raise your voices before the King, the Lord.		ובַּֽחֲצֹֽצְרוֹת וְק֣וֹל שׁוֹפָ֑ר הָ֜רִ֗יעוּ לִפְנֵ֚י | הַמֶּ֬לֶךְ יְהֹוָֽה:
7 The sea and the fullness thereof will roar, the inhabited world and the inhabitants thereof.		זיִרְעַ֣ם הַ֖יָּם וּמְלֹא֑וֹ תֵּ֜בֵ֗ל וְי֣שְׁבֵי בָֽהּ:
8 Rivers will clap hands; together mountains will sing praises.		חנְהָר֥וֹת יִמְחֲאוּ־כָ֑ף יַ֜֗חַד הָרִ֥ים יְרַנֵּֽנוּ:
9 Before the Lord, for He has come to judge the earth; He will judge the inhabited world justly and the peoples with equity.		טלִֽפְ֥נֵי־יְהֹוָ֗ה כִּ֥י בָא֘ לִשְׁפֹּ֪ט הָ֫אָ֥רֶץ יִשְׁפֹּט־תֵּבֵ֥ל בְּצֶ֑דֶק וְ֜עַמִּ֗ים בְּמֵֽישָׁרִֽים:

Tehillim – Psalms – Chapter 99

1The Lord has reigned, nations will quake; [before] Him Who dwells between the cherubim, the earth will falter.		איְהֹוָ֣ה מָ֖לָךְ יִרְגְּז֣וּ עַמִּ֑ים יֹשֵׁ֥ב כְּ֜רוּבִ֗ים תָּנ֥וּט הָאָֽרֶץ:
2 The Lord is great in Zion, and He is high over all the peoples.		ביְהֹוָה בְּצִיּ֣וֹן גָּד֑וֹל וְרָ֥ם ה֜֗וּא עַל־כָּל־הָֽעַמִּֽים:
3 They will acknowledge Your great and awesome name, [that] it is holy,		גיוֹד֣וּ שִׁ֖מְךָ גָּד֥וֹל וְנוֹרָ֗א קָד֥וֹשׁ הֽוּא:
4 And the might of the King who loves judgment; You founded equity; judgment and righteousness You made in Jacob.		דוְעֹ֥ז מֶלֶךְ֘ מִשְׁפָּ֪ט אָ֫הֵ֥ב אַ֖תָּה כּוֹנַ֣נְתָּ מֵּֽישָׁרִ֑ים מִשְׁפָּ֥ט וּ֜צְדָקָ֗ה בְּיַֽעֲקֹ֚ב | אַתָּ֬ה עָשִֽׂיתָ:
5 Exalt the Lord our God and prostrate yourselves to His footstool, it is holy.		הרֽוֹמְמ֡וּ יְהֹ֘וָ֚ה אֱלֹהֵ֗ינוּ וְ֖הִֽשְׁתַּֽחֲווּ לַֽהֲדֹ֥ם רַגְלָ֗יו קָד֥וֹשׁ הֽוּא:
6 Moses and Aaron among His priests, and Samuel among those who call in His name, would call out to the Lord, and He would answer them.		ומ֘שֶׁ֚ה וְאַֽהֲרֹ֨ן | בְּכֹֽהֲנָ֗יו וּ֖שְׁמוּאֵל בְּקֹֽרְאֵ֣י שְׁמ֑וֹ קֹרִ֥אים אֶל־יְ֜הֹוָ֗ה וְה֣וּא יַֽעֲנֵֽם:
7 In a pillar of cloud He would speak to them; they kept His testimonies and the statutes He gave them.		זבְּעַמּ֣וּד עָ֖נָן יְדַבֵּ֣ר אֲלֵיהֶ֑ם שָֽׁמְר֥וּ עֵֽ֜דֹתָ֗יו וְחֹ֣ק נָֽתַן־לָֽמוֹ:
8O Lord, Our God, You answered them; You were a forgiving God for them but vengeful for their misdeeds.		חיְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵינוּ֘ אַתָּ֪ה עֲנִ֫יתָ֥ם אֵ֣ל נֹ֖שֵׂא הָיִ֣יתָ לָהֶ֑ם וְ֜נֹקֵ֗ם עַל־עֲלִֽילוֹתָֽם:
9 Exalt the Lord our God and prostrate yourselves to the mount of His sanctuary, for the Lord our God is holy.		טרֽוֹמְמ֡וּ יְ֘הֹוָ֚ה אֱלֹהֵ֗ינוּ וְ֖הִֽשְׁתַּֽחֲווּ לְהַ֣ר קָדְשׁ֑וֹ כִּ֥י קָ֜ד֗וֹשׁ יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ:

Tehillim – Psalms – Chapter 100

1 A song for a thanksgiving offering. Shout to the Lord, all the earth.		אמִזְמ֥וֹר לְתוֹדָ֑ה הָרִֽיעוּ לַֽ֜יהֹוָ֗ה כָּל־הָאָֽרֶץ:
2 Serve the Lord with joy, come before Him with praise.		בעִבְד֣וּ אֶת־יְהֹוָ֣ה בְּשִׂמְחָ֑ה בֹּ֥אוּ לְ֜פָנָ֗יו בִּרְנָנָֽה:
3 Know that the Lord is God; He made us and we are His, people and the flock of His pasture.		גדְּע֗וּ כִּ֥י יְהֹוָה֘ ה֚וּא אֱלֹ֫הִ֥ים ה֣וּא עָ֖שָׂנוּ וְל֣וֹ (כתיב וְלֹ֣א) אֲנַ֑חְנוּ עַ֜מּ֗וֹ וְצֹ֣אן מַרְעִיתֽוֹ:
4 Come into His gates with thanksgiving, [into] His courtyards with praise; give thanks to Him, bless His name.		דבֹּ֚אוּ שְׁעָרָ֨יו | בְּתוֹדָ֗ה חֲצֵֽרֹתָ֥יו בִּתְהִלָּ֑ה ה֥וֹדוּ ל֜֗וֹ בָּֽרְכ֥וּ שְׁמֽוֹ:
5 For the Lord is good; His kindness is forever, and until generation after generation is His faith.		הכִּי־ט֣וֹב יְ֖הֹוָה לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּ֑וֹ וְעַד־דֹּ֥ר וָ֜דֹ֗ר אֱמֽוּנָתֽוֹ:

 

Yeshayahu – Isaiah – Chapter 28

5 On that day, the Lord of Hosts shall be for a crown of beauty and for a diadem of glory, for the rest of His people.		הבַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא יִֽהְיֶה֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה צְבָא֔וֹת לַֽעֲטֶ֣רֶת צְבִ֔י וְלִצְפִירַ֖ת תִּפְאָרָ֑ה לִשְׁאָ֖ר עַמּֽוֹ:
6 And for a spirit of justice to him who sits in judgment, and for might for those who bring back the war to the gate.		ווּלְר֖וּחַ מִשְׁפָּ֑ט לַיּוֹשֵׁב֙ עַל־הַמִּשְׁפָּ֔ט וְלִ֨גְבוּרָ֔ה מְשִׁיבֵ֥י מִלְחָמָ֖ה שָֽׁעְרָה:

5 En aquel día, el Señor de los ejércitos será por corona de hermosura y por diadema de gloria, para el resto de su pueblo.
6 y por espíritu de justicia al que se sienta en juicio, y por fortaleza a los que hacen volver la guerra a la puerta.
