“Baruch She’asani Kirtzono”

“It once happened that a pious man was married to a pious woman…they arose and divorced each other. The former went and married a wicked woman, and she made him wicked, while the latter went and married a wicked man, and made him righteous. This proves that all depends on the woman.” (Bereshit Rabbah 17,7)

“Una vez sucedió que un hombre piadoso estaba casado con una mujer piadosa … se levantaron y se divorciaron. Primero, él fue y se casó con una mujer malvada, y ella lo hizo malvado, mientras que ella fue y se casó con un hombre malvado, y lo hizo justo. Esto demuestra que todo depende de la mujer “. “It was taught: He who has no wife dwells without good, without help, without joy, without blessing, and without atonement.” (Bereshit Rabbah 17,2)

Genesis 2

(18) Y dijo Dios el Eterno: “No es bueno que el hombre esté solo, le haré una ayuda opuesta él”.

18 And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man is alone; I shall make him a helpmate opposite him.”

יחוַיֹּ֨אמֶר֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהִ֔ים לֹא־ט֛וֹב הֱי֥וֹת הָֽאָדָ֖ם לְבַדּ֑וֹ אֶֽעֱשֶׂה־לּ֥וֹ עֵ֖זֶר כְּנֶגְדּֽוֹ:

“LA MANO QUE MECE LA CUNA ES LA MANO QUE GOBIERNA AL MUNDO”, Así dice un viejo adagio.

Es bueno tener presente:

No podemos justificar nuestro comportamiento por los errores que cometieron nuestros padres (o lo que nosotros como padres o madres cometimos).

Todos tenemos el libre albedrío para elegir entre el bien o el mal.

Genesis 4

(6)Entonces le preguntó el Eterno:

“¿Por qué estas airado y por que´ha decaído tu semblante?

(7) Ciertamente si hicieras lo bueno ¿no serías enaltecido?; pero si no lo haces, el pecado está acechando a la puerta y te tentará, mas tú puedes dominarlo”.

7Is it not so that if you improve, it will be forgiven you? Eclesiastes 7

(9)Que no se apresure tu espíritu en airarte porque la ira reposa en el seno de los necios.

La vestimenta de  una Mujer, no es una invitación para que se la toque y mucho menos contra su voluntad.

LOS PROVERBIOS 31

(10) Alef. Mujer virtuosa, ¿quién puede hallarla? Su precio sobrepasa al de los rubíes.

(11) Bet. El corazón de su marido confía en ella y botín (de guerra) no le falta.

(12) Guímel. Ella le hace el bien y no el mal todos los días de su vida.

(13) Dálet. Busca la lana y el lino y trabaja diligentemente con sus manos.

(14) Hei. Es como las naves mercantes: trae el alimento desde lejos.

(15) Vav. Se levanta cuando todavía es de noche y da el alimento a su familia y una porción para sus criadas.

(16) Zayin. Considera un campo y lo compra. Con el fruto de sus manos, planta un viñedo.

(17) Jet. Se ciñe sus lomos con vigor y fortalece sus brazos.

(18) Tet. Observa que su mercancía es buena. Su lampará no se apaga de noche.

(19) Yud. Aplica sus manos a la rueca y sus manos sostienen el huso.

(20) Kaf. Extiende sus manos a los pobres. Sí tiende sus manos a los meresterosos.

(21) Lámed. No teme la nieve para su familia, porque todos los de su casa tienen doble vestido.

(22) Men. Ella misma  hace colchas bordadas. Sus vestidos son de lino fino blanco y púrpura.

(23) Nun. Conocido en los portones (de la ciudad) es su marido, cuando se sienta entre los ancianos de la tierra.

(24) Sámej. Ella hace prendas de lino, las vende y entrega ceñidores al mercader.

(25) Ayín. La fuerza y la dignidad son sus vestidos y se ríe del tiempo por venir.

(26) Pe. Abre la boca con sabiduría y la ley de la bondad está en su lengua.

(27) Tzadik. Atiende los menesteres de su casa y no come el pan de la ociosidad.

(28) Cuf. Sus hijos crecen y la bendicen. Su marido tambien la alaba.

(29) Res. “Muchas hijas son hacendosas pero tú sobrepasas a todas” (le dice).

(30) Shin. La gracia es engañosa y vana la belleza, pero a mujer que teme al Eterno será alabada.

(31) Tav. Dadle del fruto de sus manos y alábenla sus obras en los portones(de la ciudad).

Mishlei – Proverbs – Chapter 31

10 A woman of valor who can find, for her price is beyond pearls.		יאֵֽשֶׁת־חַ֖יִל מִ֣י יִמְצָ֑א וְרָחֹ֖ק מִפְּנִינִ֣ים מִכְרָֽהּ:
11 Her husband relies on her, and he will lack no gain.		יאבָּ֣טַח בָּ֖הּ לֵ֣ב בַּעְלָ֑הּ וְ֜שָׁלָ֗ל לֹ֣א יֶחְסָֽר:
12 She requites him with good and not with evil all the days of her life.		יבגְּמָלַ֣תְהוּ ט֣וֹב וְלֹא־רָ֑ע כֹּ֜֗ל יְמֵ֣י חַיֶּֽיהָ:
13 She seeks wool and flax, and she works it with the will of her hands.		יגדָּרְשָׁה צֶ֣מֶר וּפִשְׁתִּ֑ים וַ֜תַּ֗עַשׂ בְּחֵ֣פֶץ כַּפֶּֽיהָ:
14 She is like the merchant ships, she brings her food from afar.		ידהָיְתָה כָּאֳנִיּ֣וֹת סוֹחֵ֑ר מִ֜מֶּרְחָ֗ק תָּבִ֥יא לַחְמָֽהּ:
15 She rises when it is still night; she gives food to her household and an allotted share to her maidens.		טווַתָּ֤קָם בְּע֬וֹד לַ֗יְלָה וַתִּתֵּ֣ן טֶ֣רֶף לְבֵיתָ֑הּ וְ֜חֹ֗ק לְנַעֲרֹתֶֽיהָ:
16 She contemplates a field and purchases it; from the fruit of her hands she plants a vineyard.		טזזָמְמָ֣ה שָׂ֖דֶה וַתִּקָּחֵ֑הוּ מִפְּרִ֥י כַ֜פֶּ֗יהָ נָ֣טְעָ נָ֣טְעָה כָּֽרֶם:
17 She girds her loins with vigor and strengthens her arms.		יזחָֽגְרָ֣ה בְע֣וֹז מָתְנֶ֑יהָ וַ֜תְּאַמֵּ֗ץ זְרֹעוֹתֶֽיהָ:
18 [When] she advises that her merchandise is good her lamp does not go out at night.		יחטָעֲמָה כִּי־ט֣וֹב סַחְרָ֑הּ לֹֽא־יִכְבֶּ֖ה בַלַּ֣יְלָ בַלַּ֣יְלָה נֵרָֽהּ:
19 She stretches forth her hands onto the distaff, and her hands support the spindle.		יטיָדֶיהָ שִׁלְּחָ֣ה בַכִּישׁ֑וֹר וְ֜כַפֶּ֗יהָ תָּ֣מְכוּ פָֽלֶךְ:
20 She spreads out her hand to the poor man, and she stretches her hands out to the needy.		ככַּפָּהּ פָּרְשָֹ֣ה לֶעָנִ֑י וְ֜יָדֶ֗יהָ שִׁלְּחָ֥ה לָֽאֶבְיֽוֹן:
21 She fears not for her household for snow, for all her household are dressed in crimson.		כאלֹא־תִירָ֣א לְבֵיתָ֣הּ מִשָּׁ֑לֶג כִּ֥י כָל־בֵּ֜יתָ֗הּ לָבֻ֥שׁ שָׁנִֽים:
22 She makes beautiful bedspreads for herself; fine linen and purple wool are her raiment.		כבמַרְבַדִּ֥ים עָֽשְׂתָה־לָּ֑הּ שֵׁ֖שׁ וְאַרְגָּמָ֣ן לְבוּשָֽׁהּ:
23 Her husband is known in the gates, when he sits with the elders of the land.		כגנוֹדָ֣ע בַּשְּׁעָרִ֣ים בַּעְלָ֑הּ בְּ֜שִׁבְתּ֗וֹ עִם־זִקְנֵי־אָֽרֶץ:
24 She makes a cloak and sells it, and she gives a belt to the trafficker.		כדסָדִ֣ין עָ֖שְׂתָּה וַתִּמְכֹּ֑ר וַ֜חֲג֗וֹר נָתְנָ֥ה לַֽכְּנַעֲנִֽי:
25 Strength and beauty are her raiment, and she laughs at the last day.		כהעֹז־וְהָדָ֥ר לְבוּשָׁ֑הּ וַ֜תִּשְׂחַ֗ק לְי֣וֹם אַחֲרֽוֹן:
26 She opens her mouth with wisdom, and instruction of kindness is on her tongue.		כופִּיהָ פָּתְחָ֣ה בְחָכְמָ֑ה וְתֽוֹרַת־חֶ֜֗סֶד עַל־לְשׁוֹנָֽהּ:
27 She supervises the ways of her household and does not eat bread of idleness.		כזצוֹפִיָּה הֲלִיכ֣וֹת בֵּיתָ֑הּ וְלֶ֥חֶם עַ֜צְל֗וּת לֹ֣א תֹאכֵֽל:
28 Her children rise and call her fortunate; [also] her husband, and praises her.		כחקָ֣מוּ בָ֖נֶיהָ וַֽיְאַשְּׁר֑וּהָ בַּ֜עְלָ֗הּ וַֽיְהַֽלְלָֽהּ:
29 “Many women have acquired wealth, but you surpass them all.”		כטרַבּ֣וֹת בָּ֖נוֹת עָ֣שׂוּ חָ֑יִל וְ֜אַ֗תְּ עָלִ֥ית עַל־כֻּלָּֽנָה:
30 Charm is false and beauty is futile; a God-fearing woman is to be praised.		לשֶׁ֣קֶר הַ֖חֵן וְהֶ֣בֶל הַיֹּ֑פִי אִשָּׁ֥ה יִרְאַת־יְ֜הוָ֗ה הִ֣יא תִתְהַלָּֽל:
31 Give her of the fruit of her hands, and her deeds will praise her in the gates.		לאתְּנוּ־לָ֖הּ מִפְּרִ֣י יָדֶ֑יהָ וִֽיהַלְל֖וּהָ בַשְּׁעָרִ֣ים מַעֲשֶֹֽיהָ:
