| 8 “Give thanks to the Lord, call out in His Name; make His exploits known among the peoples. | חהוֹד֚וּ לַֽיהֹוָה֙ קִרְא֣וּ בִשְׁמ֔וֹ הוֹדִ֥יעוּ בָֽעַמִּ֖ים עֲלִילֹתָֽיו: | |
| 9 Sing to Him, play music to Him, speak of all His wonders. | טשִׁ֚ירוּ לוֹ֙ זַמְּרוּ־ל֔וֹ שִׂ֖יחוּ בְּכָל־נִפְלְאֹתָֽיו: | |
| 10 Glory in His holy Name; may the heart of those who seek the Lord rejoice. | יהִתְהַֽלְלוּ֙ בְּשֵׁ֣ם קָדְשׁ֔וֹ יִשְׂמַ֕ח לֵ֖ב מְבַקְשֵׁ֥י יְהֹוָֽה: | |
| 11 Search for the Lord and His might; seek His presence constantly. | יאדִּרְשׁ֚וּ יְהֹוָה֙ וְעֻזּ֔וֹ בַּקְּשׁ֥וּ פָנָ֖יו תָּמִֽיד: | |
| 12 Remember His wonders, which He performed, His miracles and the judgments of His mouth. | יבזִכְר֗וּ נִפְלְאֹתָיו֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשָׂ֔ה מֹֽפְתָ֖יו וּמִשְׁפְּטֵי־פִֽיהוּ: | |
| 13 The seed of Israel His servant, the children of Jacob, His chosen ones. | יגזֶרַע יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל עַבְדּ֔וֹ בְּנֵ֥י יַֽעֲקֹ֖ב בְּחִירָֽיו: | |
| 14 He is the Lord our God; throughout the earth are His judgments. | ידהוּא יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵ֔ינוּ בְּכָל־הָאָ֖רֶץ מִשְׁפָּטָֽיו: | |
| 15 Remember His covenant forever, the word which He commanded to a thousand generations. | טוזִכְר֚וּ לְעוֹלָם֙ בְּרִית֔וֹ דָּבָ֥ר צִוָּ֖ה לְאֶ֥לֶף דּֽוֹר: | |
| 16 [The covenant] which He had made with Abraham, and His oath to Isaac. | טזאֲשֶׁ֚ר כָּרַת֙ אֶת־אַבְרָהָ֔ם וּשְׁבֽוּעָת֖וֹ לְיִצְחָֽק: | |
| 17 And He set it up for Jacob as a statute, to Israel as an everlasting covenant. | יזוַיַּֽעֲמִידֶ֚הָ לְיַֽעֲקֹב֙ לְחֹ֔ק לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל בְּרִ֥ית עוֹלָֽם: | |
| 18 Saying: To you I shall give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance.” | יחלֵאמֹ֗ר לְךָ֙ אֶתֵּ֣ן אֶֽרֶץ־כְּנָ֔עַן חֶ֖בֶל נַֽחֲלַתְכֶֽם: | |
| 19 When you were few in number, hardly dwelling in it. | יטבִּֽהְיֽוֹתְכֶם֙ מְתֵ֣י מִסְפָּ֔ר כִּמְעַ֖ט וְגָרִ֥ים בָּֽהּ: | |
| 20 And when they walked from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people. | כוַיִּתְהַלְּכוּ֙ מִגּ֣וֹי אֶל־גּ֔וֹי וּמִמַּמְלָכָ֖ה אֶל־עַ֥ם אַחֵֽר: | |
| 21 He let no man oppress them, and He reproved kings on their account; | כאלֹֽא־הִנִּ֚יחַ לְאִישׁ֙ לְעָשְׁקָ֔ם וַיּ֥וֹכַח עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם מְלָכִֽים: | |
| 22 “Do not touch My anointed ones, and do not harm My prophets.” | כבאַל־תִּגְּעוּ֙ בִּמְשִׁיחָ֔י וּבִנְבִיאַ֖י אַל־תָּרֵֽעוּ: | |
| 23 Sing to the Lord, all the earth; announce His salvation from day to day. | כגשִׁ֚ירוּ לַֽיהֹוָה֙ כָּל־הָאָ֔רֶץ בַּשְּׂר֥וּ מִיּֽוֹם־אֶל־י֖וֹם יְשֽׁוּעָתֽוֹ: | |
| 24 Tell of His glory among the nations, among all peoples His wonders. | כדסַפְּר֚וּ בַגּוֹיִם֙ אֶת־כְּבוֹד֔וֹ בְּכָל־הָֽעַמִּ֖ים נִפְלְאֹתָֽיו: | |
| 25 For the Lord is great and very much praised; He is feared over all gods. | כהכִּי֩ גָד֨וֹל יְהֹוָ֚ה וּמְהֻלָּל֙ מְאֹ֔ד וְנוֹרָ֥א ה֖וּא עַל־כָּל־אֱלֹהִֽים: | |
| 26 For all the gods of the peoples are idols, but the Lord made the heavens. | כוכִּ֠י כָּל־אֱלֹהֵ֚י הָעַמִּים֙ אֱלִילִ֔ים וַֽיהֹוָ֖ה שָׁמַ֥יִם עָשָֽׂה: | |
| 27 There is beauty and majesty before Him; might and joy in His place. | כזה֚וֹד וְהָדָר֙ לְפָנָ֔יו עֹ֥ז וְחֶדְוָ֖ה בִּמְקֹמֽוֹ: | |
| 28 Ascribe to the Lord, [you] families of peoples, ascribe to the Lord glory and might. | כחהָב֚וּ לַֽיהֹוָה֙ מִשְׁפְּח֣וֹת עַמִּ֔ים הָב֥וּ לַֽיהֹוָ֖ה כָּב֥וֹד וָעֹֽז: | |
| 29 Ascribe to the Lord the glory of His name; carry an offering and come before Him; bow down to the Lord in the beauty of holiness. | כטהָב֥וּ לַֽיהֹוָ֖ה כְּב֣וֹד שְׁמ֑וֹ שְׂא֚וּ מִנְחָה֙ וּבֹ֣אוּ לְפָנָ֔יו הִשְׁתַּֽחֲו֥וּ לַיהֹוָ֖ה בְּהַדְרַת־קֹֽדֶשׁ: | |
| 30 Quake before Him, all the earth; also the inhabited world will be established so that it will not falter. | לחִ֚ילוּ מִלְּפָנָיו֙ כָּל־הָאָ֔רֶץ אַף־תִּכּ֥וֹן תֵּבֵ֖ל בַּל־תִּמּֽוֹט: | |
| 31 The heavens will rejoice and the earth will exult, and they will say among the nations, “The Lord has reigned.” | לאיִשְׂמְח֚וּ הַשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙ וְתָגֵ֣ל הָאָ֔רֶץ וְיֹֽאמְר֥וּ בַגּוֹיִ֖ם יְהֹוָ֥ה מָלָֽךְ: | |
| 32 The sea and the fullness thereof will roar. The field and all that is therein will jubilate. | לביִרְעַ֚ם הַיָּם֙ וּמְלוֹא֔וֹ יַֽעֲלֹ֥ץ הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה וְכָל־אֲשֶׁר־בּֽוֹ: | |
| 33 Then all the forest trees will sing praises, before the Lord, for He has come to judge the earth. | לגאָ֥ז יְרַנְּנ֖וּ עֲצֵ֣י הַיָּ֑עַר מִלִּפְנֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֔ה כִּֽי־בָ֖א לִשְׁפּ֥וֹט אֶת־הָאָֽרֶץ: | |
| 34 Give thanks to the Lord for He is good, for His loving-kindness exists forever. | לדהוֹד֚וּ לַֽיהֹוָה֙ כִּ֣י ט֔וֹב כִּ֥י לְעוֹלָ֖ם חַסְדּֽוֹ: | |
| 35 And say, “Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us and save us from the nations, to give thanks to Your holy Name, to triumph in your praise.” | להוְאִמְר֕וּ הֽוֹשִׁיעֵ֙נוּ֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׁעֵ֔נוּ וְקַבְּצֵ֥נוּ וְהַצִּילֵ֖נוּ מִן־הַגּוֹיִ֑ם לְהוֹדוֹת֙ לְשֵׁ֣ם קָדְשֶׁ֔ךָ לְהִשְׁתַּבֵּ֖חַ בִּתְהִלָּתֶֽךָ: | |
| 36 Blessed is the Lord, the God of Israel from all times past, and to all times to come.” And all the people said, “Amen,” and praised the Lord. | לובָּר֚וּךְ יְהֹוָה֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל מִן־הָֽעוֹלָ֖ם וְעַ֣ד הָֽעֹלָ֑ם וַיֹּֽאמְר֚וּ כָל־הָעָם֙ אָמֵ֔ן וְהַלֵּ֖ל לַֽיהֹוָֽה: |
Primera de Crónicas 16:8 – 36
8 “Alabad al Eterno, invocad Su Nombre. Dad a conocer Sus proezas entre los pueblos.
9 Cantadle, cantadle alabanzas. Hablad de Sus maravillosas obras.
10 Gloriaos en Su santo Nombre. Que se regocije el corazón de quienes le buscan.
11 Buscad al Eterno y Su fuerza. Buscad Su rostro continuamente.
12 Recordad las maravillosas obras que Él ha hecho, Sus proezas y los juicios de Su boca.
13 ¡Oh simiente de Israel Su siervo! ¡Oh hijos de Jacob Sus escogidos!
14 Él es nuestro Di-s el Eterno. Sus juicios están en toda la tierra.
15 Recordad Su Pacto para siempre. La palabra que Él dio para mil generaciones.
16 (el Pacto) que hizo con Abraham y Su juramento a Isaac
17 que Él estableció a Jacob por estatuto, a Israel por Pacto eterno.
18 diciendo: “A ti te daré la tierra de Canaán, lo que te corresponde por heredad’,
19 cuando no era más que unos pocos hombres (sí, muy pocos, cuando erais extranjeros en la tierra),
20 e ibais de nación en nación y de un pueblo a otro.
21 Entonces Él no toleraba que alguien os hiciera mal. Sí, por vosotros Él reprobaba a los reyes:
22 “No toquéis a Mis ungidos y no causéis daño a Mis profetas”.
23 Cantad al Eterno, toda la tierra. Proclamad Su salvación día a día.
24 Declarad Su gloria entre las naciones, Sus maravillosas obras entre todos los pueblos.
25 Porque grande es el Eterno y digno de ser alabado, y de ser temido por sobre todos los dioses.
26 porque todos los dioses de los pueblos no son nada, mientras que el Eterno hizo los cielos.
27 Honra y majestad están delante de Él. Fortaleza y gloria están en Su morada.
28 ¡Tributad al Eterno oh familias de los pueblos, tributad al Eterno gloria y fortaleza!
29 ¡Tributad al Eterno la gloria debida a Su nombre! ¡Traed una ofrenda y venid ante Él! ¡Adorad al Eterno en la hermosura de la santidad!
30 Tiemblen ante Él toda la tierra! El mundo también está establecido para que no pueda ser removido.
31 ¡Alegrense los cielos y regocíjese la tierra y sea dicho entre las naciones:¡el Eterno reina!
32 ¡Bramen el mar y todo lo que contiene! ¡Exáltense el campo y todo lo que hay allí!
33 Y los árboles del bosque cantarán de alborozo ante el Eterno, porque Él ha venido para juzgar a la tierra.
34 Alabad al Eterno, porque Él es bueno y Su misericordia perdura eternamente.
35 y decid:”sálvanos, oh Di-s de nuestra salvación y reúnenos para librarnos de las naciones (que nos acosan), para que alaben Tu santo Nombre y nos gloriemos en Tu alabanza”.
36 Bendito sea el Eterno, Di-s de Israel, desde siempre y para siempre”.
Y respondió todo el pueblo: “Amén” y alabó al Eterno.
