Ya viene Shabat, comienzo a preparar la mesa para recibir Shabat.

Shabbat is coming, I begin to prepare the table to receive Shabbat.

Cuando  niña, fui bendecida por el Di-s Altísimo al celebrar Shabat con mi abuelita Rita. Después, cuando mi abuelita tenía 103 años, yo preparaba la mesa de Shabat para ella, la diferencia es que sabía que era Shabat, antes lo llamabamos “costumbre de la abuelita”.

As a child, I was blessed by the Most High Gd to celebrate Shabbat with my grandmother Rita. Later, when my grandmother was 103, I prepared the Shabbat table for her, the difference being that she knew it was Shabbat, we used to call it “grandma’s custom”.
